Clean hotel in the centre of Valkenburg. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The standard room is small, specially for tall people. Due to the noise of the night live it is not possible to sleep with the window open. This can make the room uncomfortably warm because there is no AC available.
The location was perfect. We could watch the Christmas Parade from the front bedroom.. The room (Family Room) was very nice. For families with small children, be VERY CAREFUL with this room. There are VERY steep stairs in the living area!!!! It didn't mention that anywhere when we were booking and neither did other reviews. The room with the balcony is not well insulated and the heater was the smallest (for the largest room) so it was hard to stay warm in there in the winter (or late Fall). The view of the castle ruins from the roof window was cool! WiFi was ok. Just remember to "Agree" on the website everytime you come back to the room. We had lights out outside the room and the living area. They were quick to respond to issues but the living room late needed to be replaced. Hopefully, they fix it for the next guests. The toilet flush also gets stuck. It's not a big deal but the toilet can 've left running if not caught or fixed. Food at the restaurant was very good but the breakfast buffet price didn't justify the limited variety of food
We didn't stay at the hotel, we ate at their restaurant. Their grillschottel is amazing. Well worth every penny. Great ambiance, friendly staff. Great fire places and decorations.
Hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. Helped us resolve a room situation due to an error with the booking website. So nice, we decided to stay an extra night. The hotel rooms are clean and well priced. The restaurant is cozy and has a great atmosphere. Walking distance to the Christmas markets. Great views. Will be turning this into a yearly trip. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff.

We booked this hotel as last minute so we had no idea what to expect. Our first impression was very good, the hotel seemed clean and organized. The rooms were big and clean, the beds were nice. The pool is big enough and with two different saunas the is enough to relax. The hotel has two restaurants, we ate at the small one. It took a bit of time before we had our food but the food itself was good. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Only went here for dinner, which was very good. We walked round most of the town looking at where to eat and as this had the most people we thought it must be good-and it was!! Great food, good beer and fantastic service even though the place was full!
