Great visit and a special military air museum. Hands on
Great visit and a special military air museum. Hands on
Amazing to be so close and even touch so many epic planes. A dream come true.
Small museum with lot of very interesting planes. Nice place to visit
It is a museum with real jewels very well preserved, but the best thing is the warmth and predisposition of the guides, who demonstrate their passion and interest in warbirds
Great staff, well preserved planes and a great tour by a veteran who gave his first hand experience.
Unmissable !!!! Organized, clean, several classic aircraft in flight conditions. Mig-15, F-86, F-5, F-4, F-14, A-4, A-7, A-8, F-105, among about 40 aircraft. Museum with memorabilia and direct contact with American veterans.
Great place!! Staff is there to answer any questions, give tours. etc.
The volunteers were very welcoming and available.
Many planes, some authentic ones and replicas.
Probably the only place in the Us where we can see a Fouga Magister
It's a must see for anyone interested in airplanes. Don't think twice and make a visit !
Interesting museum but the volunteers are horribly rude. Ruined the experience. Particularly the woman who sold the tickets.
When you are heading to NASA, don't miss this place.
Beautifully restored collection of Warbirds. Staff is very knowledgeable and eager to tell the stories of the planes. 3 large hangars with a nice variety of planes.
Very cool place, the shop to leave a lot of money, has a lot of cool and cheap.
Great little museum with tons of cool planes and History!
Great tour guides. You will not only learn about the planes they volunteer to restore, but also about the time, place, and missions they were used on.
I highly recommend going to visit, great guids, great memorabilia, and awsome air planes.
Definitely worth a visit. The guided tours with the volunteers is absolutely worth it. Go and support what they do. A must see. So many amazing and real aircrafts.
Noticed the museum when looking for something to do as the shuttle launch I had planned to see was postponed. During my visit some pilots were doing formation flying around the airport with small training jets, coming to fuel up every now and then, and there was plenty of other activity in addition to large number of interesting exhibits. When C-47/DC3 was pulled out of hangar, I found myself with flight ticket for it for long flight around cape, taking birds eye view of launch pads and the area. Best ever aviation museum experience. Maybe my timing was unusually spot on, but this place is definitely worth visiting.
It doesn't feel like a museum. You are right there with the history you can touch the aircraft. Most of the planes are still airworthy very cool!I will go back.
Great place to see some historic planes . You can have a guide go with you i would highly recommend having a guide very knowledgable well worth the money.
Fantastic place!!! They have a LOT of stuff there to look at! The staff is wonderful!! Can't wait to come back!!
Saw the air show and loved it, lots of excellent aerobatics, exciting planes, even some cold beer and hot dogs!
Really a nice place to visit. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great value for the price paid.
This one is not that big but really worth spending some more time - with some luck you will meet there veterans and they will give yome stories. I had that luck :)
Amazing museum featuring Aaviaati9n history of Vietnam and WW II.,
If you love airplabrs, it is a must see!
i miss taking my kids here hopefuly we can visit once again. thank you for the great times you gave us
Fantastic museum in Titusville Florida right at the airport. You can fly in and visit, or you can drive. The museum has a plethora of airplanes and even a few helicopters!!! You can even pay to take a flight in a DC-3, but call ahead first. I cannot recommend this place enough, you have to visit if you are in the Titusville area!
I recommend the visit, it is guided, very well explained and with historical examples and lots of content.
Nice museum with beautifully restored Warbird airplanes. We had the luxury of having Larry be our guide (even though he wasn't a paid guide anymore). Very informative and lots of history and planes here. Every year, they have an airshow that seems to be well thought out and put together. If you ever get into the area then this is a go-to museum and a must-see on your list of places to go. I enjoyed it very much.
For lovers of military aviation, interesting exhibits (even Mig 21 from CS) not too big relatively expensive ...
This place is run by volunteers and operates through donations, they have a fairly extensive display of small memorabilia items from different countries from both world wars as well as a selection dedicated to the Vietnam war. They also have a good amount of planes and where they can look to gain more to restore to their glory days. Once I was finished I looked at the gift shop which was stocked with a great selection various items and a great price it's worth noting that they also have a visitor log book which is worth signing as it helps with gaining funding/grants to allow them to continue to operate and continue their good work in restoring history
Great place! All volunteers. Good stories. Planes are restored from donations. If you are in Orlando, it is worth the short drive to see.
Great museum for military aircraft. There are aprox. 40 planes on display ranking from pre_WW 2 thru modern day. One hangar is dedicated entirely to the Viet Nam War. Dedicated volunteer guides will bring these planes to life. The admission is 20.00 for adults and slightly less for Sr. Citizen and children. Great history outing for students.
Great place. A lot of aviation history. The guides really brought the history to life .
Fantastic place to visit in the Ville. The only Flying twin P-82 on display along with three other full hangers of various aircraft from WW2 to F16.I Met a Tomcat fighter pilot signing his book. Great weekend for a stop. To all who served ,I salute you and thank you for your Service.
Support the Veterans
For anyone that loves military aircraft, this place is awesome. But don't feed the guides.
Great place to view historic planes and jets from many time periods and a get place to volunteer.
Great little spot off the beaten path. Don't shy away from speaking with the volunteers... They have a vast wealth of knowledge and are eager to share.
The people working there has great knowledge and love for the planes shown here.
This was marvelous, the history, if we don't remember the things of the past, we ate doomed to repeat it. Our students aren't taught much about WWI and WWII. Very good place to take the kids. One thing I wish is that I could be there for the air show.
If you like planes and you are in the area you cannot miss it!!! And plan for at least 2 hours of visit... Our guide was and endless source of facts and information... We stopped by chance, we left so happy too have discovered it!!
Pretty fun when you have a guide. Be warned... the hangers get hot and they don't have any fans.
The VAC will have an air show the weekend of April 6th 7th and 8th. It is a wonderful Air Show. They will have Tora Tora Tora there this year. There will be many other flying planes and static airplanes. Come and enjoy the day.
Awesome war birds on display! Our tour guide, Arlene, wonderfully explained the history of flight with respect to the many war planes from WWI to Desert Storm on display. These planes are restored, many are still air worthy and have seen real combat The ongoing restoration of the F-14 and the tour of of inside of a B52 cockpit are must sees!
Awesome museum with LOTS of aircrafts used in World War I, II, Vietnam, and more!
Guides explained the history of the planes and it was a up close and personal look at the planes
The staff was great. Tour guide was very knowledgeable
There are many surprises at this museum. The first area, dedicated to memorabilia from wars basically, has many very good items, and great plane models. Inside the hangar, some incredible planes, some of them in flying condition. On restauration area, some more airplanes with work on progress, and some more outside, to be restored.
It is a friendly place, with at least one volunteer to answer questions, show some details, or only to talk a bit about planes.
There is an airshow every year with planes from the museum and others, check the date on the museum website.
A really great place with low price. A must see for aviation enthusiasts.
It is a very cozy place, the airplanes are very well restored and the people who attend have a lot of love and passion for the museum. One of the planes the Z8 Tico Belle is still flying.
The entire tour lasts about two hours
Excellent place to visit and see some historical pieces. A must for lovers of aviation. Highly recommended The guides have a deep knowledge of the ships that are there. You can see many of the historic planes up close.
Great museum. D.isplays and planes are awesome. Get Tony for the guided tour
Simply incredible, I think it must be a must for any aviation enthusiast. The museum consists of a shopping area a corner dining and three Hangars, the first are covered by airplanes WWII, in the second are the planes of the Vietnam period with a small exhibition hall attached and in the third are executed restorations. After passing the souvenir area, you will enter directly into the hangar of the second world war packed with airplanes. You will see a C 47 Dakota, a B 25, F 4F and much more, almost hidden (a little bit out of period) you will see an F 18 of the Blue Angels and an F 16. The planes are kept in perfect condition. You can approach, touch and watch them without limitations but obviously with due respect. Many of them are in perfect flight conditions. We were lucky enough to witness the setting in motion of the Dakota for the scheduled engine test (unbelievable). Outside the Hangar, you can take a photo inside of a B 52 (first series cab). What else to add if not a warm greeting to the very kind Lady of the Souvenir shop who welcomed us beautifully and thanks to all the volunteers who keep these beautiful aircraft intact (see some photos).
Wonderful small Museum to visit.Great variety on lovely restored war birds.A must see if you visit Titusville.
It lets you think about what it takes to keep our great country safe
This is a must-see people were fantastic all the planes in pristine condition
Amazing selection and knowledgeable staff I'll definitely be back
Very cool museum! Lots of history in there. If you are an aviation buff, you will love this place!
