Made an appointment to look at a business. Broker didn't turn up or answer my sms or phone call. What a waste of my time

I recently sold my business through Valentino brokers, Helen Huang achieved a great result for me , I am very impressed with her professionalism, honesty her positive attitude.

Very dishonest business service. I dealt with 3 different agents from there, all the same. They would lie (be snakes) to sell any business.

They told me prices for business but when i look them up on there web site, it was cheaper as they told me in the meeting. (advertised for 565,000 but they would say 600,000). When I told them about this false details they were providing, they all would say " I didn't know, sorry". Clearly they would look up the business on the PC before they told me in person so they did know.

Also they told me the taking per week for each business was higher than what the financial report would show. Same excuse, " sorry they didn't know" then why tell me or advertise on the web site a higher made up number. Anything to sale a business. Its this lies that made me/my other friends not wanting to deal with them.

Should I keep going? There was a lot more, do not deal with them. Numbers don't lie unlike them. Plus stalk the business and you will notice the business doesn't even bring that much customers as they calm on the paper work. That might not be their fault but it's their fault for not being honest and telling me its a good buy when its not.Didn't like the way they pressure me/other friends to buy a business on the spot. Most other business brokers i went to, were honest and told me up front, this business is over priced and we can drop the price or this business isnt taking that much so dont bother with it etc. Thank you those business brokers, who really want a person to find their perfect business unlike Valentines.

I would also tell them what i want but they will show me what they wanted to sale to me. Seriously listen to your customers, don't throw business at them which they are not interested in.

Most of the financial reports are made up and are not from a real accountant. Mostly done in a excel Microsoft. My experience from other business brokers, they had reports from real accountants and they all were signed to testify they are showing real numbers. Like honest professionals.

Be your own judge, but I had very bad luck with them. Also my 2 other friends were looking for a business and they had the same experiences. I dealt with 2 different agents and my friends dealt with 1 different one. So 3 in total, all lying snakes.

I also found them miss leading , I looked at a business and was told it had a 150k net and then wages were paid out of this and when I questioned this the net then increased to 300 net and wages were taken out of this , they then said she would send me p and l statements but never got back to me , also tried to compare a country town business with its city counterparts and stated this was the reason for its price!!!! , good luck if you decide to use this mob!

The WORST services ever. They promise the services that they never deliver.
Their Agents asking to pay them individually (BY NOT TELLING THEIR OFFICE) then they can get more clients for your business.
As I made this complaint to their office, the office people didn't even bother.
I was stuck in bad hands for SIX months.

After having spoken to a few business agents late in 2017, I met Dina Karas of Valentines. She asked me a number of questions and then sat back and actually listened to everything I had to say, understanding what it was I was looking to achieve. She understood me! So, I listed my restaurant with her. She assured me that together with her colleagues, they would find the right buyer.

Withing a couple of weeks I met Helen Huang, one of Dina's associates, who was very quick to introduce a couple of potential buyers. Before I knew it, she produced an unconditional contract with a 10% deposit paid, a 60 day settlement.. and full price. Yes, full price. Sold!

It is important to note that prior to settlement date, we experienced serious delays lasting months, due to a difficult landlord, which should have resulted in losing our buyer. I applaud Helen for keeping him interested and not losing him. Well done Helen. Finally settled!

I have been involved in a number of businesses over the years and have had my fair share of disappointments with business agents, but I do admit, this was a great experience. I just cannot fault it.

Ash Tandon helped me sell our business. He is a very dedicated broker. He has the skill to bring the seller and buyer together for negotiation. After a couple of months campaigning the sale wore fruit. We sold our business and now retire thanks to Ash. I highly recommend Ash to all the sellers and buyers.

Be aware! Dont deal with Steven Ballan. He will break the promise and do all things snakey and steal your money at the end. Dont trust him if you dont want to get ripped off

WORST PROPERTY AGENT SERVICE EVER! TRUST ME! I called valentine's property agent to help me selling my business in swanston st (main st in melbourne CBD). This chinese agent named Peter came and said would help me out selling the business although he is not confident to sell my business for 240k. But he will do it anyway for exclusive selling for 3 month contract (no other company can sell my business unless through valentine's)

2 weeks after signing the paper, I have to chase him only to ask whether he has put my business on their website. He said he's still working on it. Another 2 weeks no updates, I chase him and ask him. He told me he already put it online. Another 2 month havent heard back from him, I followed up again and again to ask any update.

Seems like he does not want to help me selling the business. If he did not want to do so, just say from the beginning and I could find other agents. Now I have to wait til the contract ends and ask other company from "LINQ PROPERTY" who has been very very helpful and got a buyer within 2 weeks, and sold my business for 300k!!!!!!!! (beyond my expectation)

AVOID VALENTINE'S PROPERTY!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I'm a real person dealing with them. You can contact me if you do not believe me I AM REAL!

Recently had the experience of selling our business with the help of Ash. He was so thorough right from the beginning up until the end of the transaction. Always kept in contact with me and updated me regularly. The sale of the business was done in a matter of a couple of months. We had the business listed with another agent for just on 4yrs and not once bought an interested party in. Ash came in voluntarily one day within the next week had a buyer and a few months after that business sale was closed. Now that's what I call service and so much more. Absolutely thieves, from the manager down to the receptionist. BE VERY CAREFUL OF ABRAHAM - he has pictures of Mother Mary and Jesus on his desk - but very dodgy. WARNING : Avoid dealing with them altogether.
