Nice clean hotel and very good service.if you are not into party and colors then there is a lot of noise in the evening.

Nice hotel clean and convenient to downtown San Juliens. Folks, large breakfast and quality, garage, rooftop pool. Adequate price.

Very good and nicely designed hotel with very friendly and helpful personnel. Mostly in for a talk. Rooms are good and the breakfast is excellent. They are close to all the bars, restaurants, etc. Great location in St Julian`s. Even has a parking garage below the hotel, so if you have rent a car, you can park it. Free Wifi is included.

READ THIS REVIEW..I know it long, but good info.Great service and value with easy access to public transport. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I recommend using their taxi service option from the airport for 20 as it made our arrival on a very rainy night so much more relaxing. The driver was waiting at the arrivals gate with my name on a card and gave us great hints about things to see and do and bus stops along the route to the hotel. The initial welcome was smooth and we received a welcome drink from the bar. The three bar tenders are awesome (Nemanya, Robert, & Andreas)! The room was great! We had a room with a king bed. Only two neutral comments are...1) they need bigger towels 2) the bed frame moves on the tiled floor in the room and makes noise ; ) The area around the hotel can get a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but there are several restaurants and pubs (try the pasta bar across the road!!) The breakfast buffet each morning had the normal breakfast items and a coffee bar services too. One unfavourable comment: internet service was not consistent but that may be an issue on the whole island but we had good service from our cell phones. Check out was smooth as well and we were able to store our luggage well into the evening at the hotel as we had a late return flight. We used the taxi service to return to the airport and the taxi was on time and also good customer service.

Very good cocktails. Only downside the underground parking of the hotel is a little small, arrive at the right time ..

Hotel itself is amazing staff really friendly an answer any questions you have. But there restaurant the Avenue is just ok waited 30 mins for mains to come, when they came my one was wrong the waitress asked if I wanted it instead I said no,she then said it would be a few minutes for my main to be made!! It too another 30mins for it to come where my partner had finished hers . All she said was sorry for the inconvenience . So will Not Be Back!!!

Hotel Valentina is ideally situated in St Julian s, just moments away from the harbour with a variety of bars and restaurants nearby. It is also only 30 minutes from the airport where it is 20 euros in a taxi or 5 euros on the airport bus.

The modern and light decor at the hotel is very welcoming with a large reception area with a bar. There is also a separate bar area on the ground floor and space outside for a cheeky al fresco drink. The staff at reception were friendly and accommodating, giving us recommendations of local places to visit and directions to Valletta.

We stayed in a standard double room which was modern and fairly spacious. It included a fridge with a stocked mini bar (which is complimentary if you book directly) and coffee and tea making facilities. There was a small balcony area but unfortunately it just overlooked building sites nice for some outdoor space though!

There was a separate toilet and bathroom including a large shower and facilities, including hair and body wash, body lotion, conditioner, razor, shower cap, vanity kit and dental kit.

The buffet breakfast which is included in your room rate was plentiful and served on the first floor. There were a variety of cereal choices with fresh fruit and yoghurt, warm pastries, cooked breakfast with eggs cooked to order, fresh bread cold meats and cheeses. There was so much to choose from and a great way to kick off your day!

The rooftop pool was the winner for me at Hotel Valetina. Located on the sixth floor there is a small pool with a number of sun-loungers and a pool side bar. We loved having an Aperol Spritz by the pool! There were a number of cocktails, soft drinks, beers, cold coffees and smoothies. available to purchase. You could also order food from a local restaurant called The Avenue through the hotel and they would deliver to the pool. That was a real bonus for us so we did not have not leave the sun loungers!

Modern and recently built. Complementary drinks on arrival and great breakfast. Highly recommended in St Julian!

PERFECT STAY!

We stayed for a week in this hotel, the decoration is magnificent and modern, the staff is very attentive and really nice and discreet .. air-conditioned and soundproofed room with European plugs.

Very well located and beautiful rooftop swimming pool perfect to relax after a day of walking alone downside, it closes at 7:00 p.m.

I recommend with your eyes closed!

Great, spacious rooms which are kept extremely clean. Very good service and good price. The location is good, you can reach the sea and the bus stations in a five minute walk.

The hotel is superb. The staffs are very helpful. The breakfast is of high quality, having second helping to keep me full all day! My room is immaculate and even clean the room on Christmas Day. The location is easy to reach and visit Valletta within 40 mins. I don't need to upload the photos, what you see on their website is what you get and no fake. I will go there again.

Excellent Hotel. The rooms are really clean and modern with everything you would need for your stay. The restaurant has an extensive choice of food for breakfast and caters for everyone. The pool on the roof is clean if a bit chilly and is the perfect way to cool down after a long day sightseeing. The hotel is remarkably quiet considering in the middle of a busy resort. I cannot praise the staff enough, they are polite and helpful and will do anything for you with a smile. Overall a fantastic experience and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation

Central location, excellent rooms, excellent breakfast with fried eggs or an omelette made for you on request. Very clean and cozy atmosphere. Due to the location in the entertainment area, you cannot sit on Friday and Saturday evenings with the balcony door open, then you boom out of your room. Once the door is closed, no more trouble. Certainly worth repeating, however, the busy location is a thing of the weekend.

Lovely hotel .Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Very central to lots of restrauants and bars. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here. I would say more like a 4 star hotel.

Really dislike the hotel...I staid 3 night in Valentina hotel, I love the hotel, but the management is far away from it. Every day I had something happen, from parking the car at my arrival, the whole window came out I could get hurt, they change me to a room ( witch the director of operation.... Lara said that: the hotel couldn't offer me a better room but a worst of what I paid for), after I complain and denied to stay in a room where there was no light or view, I went back to my room, then after about half hour, they said that there is a room just like my available, so why not gives to me at first place, so I denied to moved because I was tired. I place a weak up call for an early morning boat ride, and they forgot to place the call, so no breakfast and rush to not lose the departure....... oh and to add it everyday the housekeeper low the A/C at 16degree, really abnormal.
But again ms. Lara tough with same apology I may would back.

Posh hotel. Located in a quiet site street, within walking distance to bar area. Rooms were very spaceous. I enjoyed having a balcony! Ac worked like a charm, bathroom was clean. Toiletries were nice. Breakfast buffet was one of the highlights! I'd stay here again!

Roof terrace with a large pool.
Next bus stop 3 minutes on foot. It is a 5-minute walk to the port.
Supermarket on the next street. Shopping center and party mile "Bay Street" less than 10 minutes on foot.

We were very satisfied with the hotel, the service, the staff and the location of the hotel.
By bus you can get to Valletta in 30 minutes (depending on traffic) for 1.50 euros, or you can drive to Silema and take the ferry - then it's only about 20 minutes.
All other places on the island can be easily reached by bus.

Very nice hotel, tastefully decorated, very clean, extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast is complete, sweet, salty, pastries, pastries, meats, cheeses .. Buffet to compose its own salad. And English breakfast too. Ideal location quiet but close to bars and restaurants, a real comfort. Also close to the lively district, and the shopping mall .. We were housed in executive junior with a terrace. For the airport the hotel takes care of the shuttle, 20 per trip. And I was going to forget the rooftop pool a plus in town..situated in center so no sea view, overlooking the roofs of the buildings. The bay is a 10-minute walk away.

Jose was our bartender that weekend and he was beyond exceptional, he was very talented, friendly and professional.He made delicious cocktails for our group and gave us some restaurant/ rooftop recommendations. Rooms are very clean. We had a problem with the room outlets not working but it was fix the next day. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel!!!

If staying there for business purposes, don t go there! Everything is just for decoration. Many things didn t work! The worst place ever to stay!
The first impression was that it s a newly renovated and seem-to-be luxurious. But when I stayed the first night, many things were broken or simply didn t work!
The fire alarm falsely turned on 3 times between 2-4AM. No one in the hotel or reception there when many guests came down to check what was happening! Locker didn t work. Printers and desktops didn t work. And rude reception... No receptionist at night. Air conditioner dropped water in the room, the hall and reception area. Leak water in the Toilet and made noise during the night. Nothing in the fridge. Super tiny swimming pool. No air conditioner in the hall from level 1 to 7...
One last thing, very small room with no view costed us 250 per night was too unreasonably expensive!
Obsessed with such a bad hotel that they called themselves a boutique and boasted many high ranking. I m now in doubt and absolutely don t suggest people to book this hotel!

Hotel Valentina Malta. room 413.

I have travelled most parts of the world being in the forces for 30yrs,
And for the last week 22Feb to 01 March 2017, I stayed with my Wife in the Hotel Valentina Malta.
There s a saying in the Army if it works leave it alone, my only advice to the management is LEAVE IT ALONE,

To start with the welcome on arrival 2350hrs was warm, friendly and welcoming, paper work kept to a minimum.

The Rooms, Very Clean, warm, with all the information required to start your holiday overall the Hotel was to a very high standard, both in friendliness and cleanness.

Breakfast, again all types of food to fit all taste, from full English to a Continental any thing you asked for was supplied if possible.

As stated I have travelled far and wide, and this being my first holiday with my Wife Lesley, in a very long time, I hoped it would go well, I can honestly say I not only picked the right Place Malta, but also the right Hotel, (Valentina) 10 out of 10.

P.S. my wife left her coat in the hotel on leaving, before we had arrived at the airport, the hotel had not only contacted myself they had also contacted my home in uk by landline. They are sending the coat by post. THAT S 10 OUT OF 10 SERVICE.

Stayed 12 days over Christmas and New Year's Eve on the 7th floor. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and room there was nothing to complain about. Omlet was served. The coffee, after breakfast, was still available as take away. Any time.

Very good hotel to explore the city and the nightlife. We had a room facing the street without a balcony. Especially on the weekend it's loud half the night, from a bar right across the street.
Room is very spacious, very clean, toilet and shower are separate, good breakfast for Malta, very central for trips with public transport or with your own car.
Can only recommend the hotel and maybe see you soon.
