Over priced and under valued. I'm not sure why people come here to get nickled and dimed for everything. Instead of family fun like it used to be, Breck has become just like Disney, try to take every dollar they can. Very sad. When we went huge lines, over an hour wait for some lifts. People we fighting for the limited seat at the base of the mountain. Everything was under staffed. I waited for over forty minutes to order a drink before finally leaving.

Good customer service however their ski selection is somewhat lacking. Couldn't find any on-piste skies and they barely had any All Mountain skis. That said if you are looking for Freeride skis you'll probably be fine. Most places offer a 20% discount, including this one of you book online. Some actually honor 20% off rentals just by asking.

Took a day trip to Breckenridge last Tuesday to show an out-of-town friend the mountains. We had a great time walking around town and rode the gondola up to the Peak 8 Lodge. This was my first trip to Bracken the summer will definitely be back to enjoy the mountain bike trails they have there

Beautiful place to come in the summer as in the winter. Love the scenery and the grounds always seem to be maintained. Friendly staff and a good amount of activities to do for all ages all times of the year. On of our favorite places to come.

Beaver Run is older resort with newly remodeled rooms, two pools multiple hot tubs and walking distance to the town, Main Street closed to traffic helps restaurants to serve food comfortably.

The mountain and snow trails are simply amazing. I couldn't ask for a bigger resort. So many different ways to ski down the mountain. The staff was friendly and even helpful at times. The lift lines went very quickly and I never had to wait more than a few minutes to get on the lifts. My biggest complaint is the price. $485 for a 3 day lift ticket is fairly costly. But this is Breckenridge , so that's that.

Intentionally shut down hot tubs for a week but couldn't provide a reason why . Forced Valet ? Pull out mattress was terrible ( I know most are bad but this one especially ). Only one trash can in a room? Loved the complimentary water and cookies. Fridge in room worked great. Really appreciated the staff overall.

Breckenridge is an enigma for me. It's a great resort, with massive amounts of acerage, and reasonably close to Denver, but it gets so busy that I get frustrated looking for less crowded lifts. Further, you frequently see advanced skiers tearing down the same runs as beginners - a recipe for injuries. The resort now handles so much volume that traffic, busses, restaurants, and the town - in general - become overwhelmed and again, it becomes frustrating. I want to love you Breckenridge, but the struggle is real.

Breck is an amazing place to visit in the winter and summer so much to do year round. Plenty of shopping and places to eat. The Breckenridge distillery has a new restaurant that is a year old and is amazing definitely recommended checking that out.

In my book, Breckenridge is second only to Vail as far as the actual mountain goes, but the awesome ski town really bumps up the "overall package." I've enjoyed skiing Breck a lot - here's how I like to tackle the mountain:

Just like you go to Vail to ski the back bowls (and Blue Sky Basin), you to go to Breck to ski the upper mountain, above the tree line. I'm talking bowls, untracked snow, and other fun stashes you can find days or weeks after snowfall.

Peak 7 is where I usually start my day - Short steeps and then some flat spillways - very much like a roller coaster going down, and lots of fun getting the legs loose over there. Take a couple of lifts to the top, then venture across to upper Peak 6 for a taste of above tree line skiing on some nice blues.

When you're feeling up for it, venture towards Peak 9 (I don't like Peak 8 at all, as there is better and less crowded skiing elsewhere) and stay towards the top over there, doing laps off Mercury Chair. Hit up the rickety 6-chair which will give you access to some really awesome and "natural" (ungroomed) terrain. You also need to take a ride up the T-bar chair - that'll earn you some street cred at the bars later!

Still in Peak 9 area, venture up to the Imperial Express chairlift and take some pics at the highest lift-serviced area in North America :) Depending on how adventurous you're feeling, ski down with the crowd up there, or hike to some lesser skied terrain (Whale's Tale is one of my favorites) and bowls. This is where you see all the cool pics of people "dropping" into a bowl!

I like to finish my day over at Peak 10, where you'll find some nicely groomed black runs that remain in decent condition well into the afternoon.

We auto renewed passes last Spring. Our son is moving for college. I was told that the policy of Vail resorts is to make me pay for a season pass even though no one will use it because I did not buy pass insurance. So not only cant I buy insurance- I have to pay full price for an adult pass no one will use? This is insanity.
Is this common sense? Is this ethical?

Wow

Expensive, busy, enormous... but worth it.

Seriously one of the nicest Ski resorts I've been to, lunch and drinks are reasonably priced too.

Plenty of lifts and while the queues may seem large they do run a tight ship and get you up in short order.
