Absolutely Huge! Love boarding here! Lines are long but the ride down is also long which makes you forget how long the lift line was to begin with... Season pass is definitely necessary when riding here... daily pass is outrageous!

Breckenridge is a beautiful ski resort and plenty to do. Their are Small shops in the town and they have a scenic gondola ride as well. Not only is this a world class ski resort but it is a beautiful biking and hiking destination.

Recommend skiing there, there is a load of moguls that were hard for snowboarding, unless you are a snowboarder who loves it, terrain park is great, from top to bottom it s around 15-30 minute ride down if you take your time and on long paths. Top is amazing, just gotta work on your breathing and you fine. Lots of Texans on the lifts...lol

Breckenridge has some great skiing terrain, but the management is going downhill. I'm allergic to pot smoke, and the resort seems to passively encourage smoking, as any sort of enforcement or even "no smoking" signs are rarely seen. Some days are fine, but other days I end up having trouble breathing within an hour because of people smoking on the lifts in front of me. I have friends who have also commented that there are spots on the mountain where they pretty much end up high just skiing through. For those of you who are looking for a place for family ski vacations, and don't want your kids to end up high by the end of the day, you might want to avoid Summit County entirely. On top of it, the ski area was apparently so understaffed last winter that they had trouble getting much terrain open by noon. Most days we skied last winter, we ended up wandering around for half the day, just looking for any of the interesting terrain that was actually open.

Honestly I was a bit disappointed by Breck. I was excited coming here after hearing so many good things about it. I found the resort to be crowded and the runs were not very fun. The blues on Peak 7 and Peak 8 were slow and un-inspiring. We went to Copper Mountain the next day and that was a blast.

Enjoyed our first time at Breckenridge. It's a little different compared to the resort towns I'm used to in British Columbia which have a more intimate village style whilst Breck is spread out along a small town main street which makes it a little tougher to know where the action is and didn't feel as welcoming at first. The reason for this review is to mention the really fantastic customer service my son and I received and what ultimately had me leaving the vacation with a positive feeling. One of the ticket/ski school managers, Tracey V. went out of her way to resolve a discount ticket snafu and did so with such care and incredible service that it really gave me an overall very positive sense of the resort. In the end, the destination is the destination, but the people that you encounter can really have a positive effect on your overall enjoyment level and Tracey definitely made this trip special - Thanks!

Wow...great customer service! After I pre-purchased a lift ticket for Feb. 8 and the county suffered a power outage in the AM on Feb. 9 thereby not allowing them to open the mountain the great folks at Breck refunded by money within 1 hour of me emailing them on Feb. 10. Amazing job! See you next year for sure.

Great runs with great variety. Overly crowded, crazy prices on food, no one who works here knows how anything works. Buying tickets ahead of time saves you no time. Lockers are insanely small and is a puzzle to figure out that you need five $1s to get a token (does not accept $5) the store next to this will not break a five without you buying. This place is for moving massive amounts of people as long as they comply. No special treatment here.

Meh.... as far as skiing goes I prefer much less crowded mountains..this place will really drain your money and time. With that said it's a good quality resort with good runs. Many of the condos are outdated. Great place for a summer conference.

Beautiful mountain and facilities. Everyone was so helpful. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The ski trail grooming was excellent. We skied around peak 8. Thanks to Jim from operations for the free hot cocoa coupons!

Climbing wall, ropes course, Alpine slide, coaster, bouncy house, sluce box for gem hunting/panning, piles of snow to play in, restaurants/bars & DJ Cyn spinning a fantastic soundtrack for it all - summer fun for all ages after a gondola ride up to Peak 8! Adventurers can rent high quality bikes & gear for single track mountain biking trails that range in technical levels, too. Please just don't stop & stay ON the trails to take photos. Move off to the side to snap the amazing views. The first aid station & staff are super helpful, as well. What a rush!

If James Bond needed a tree run to escape a nefarious foe or a beautiful bombshell with a clingy personality, Breck is the place to be. The resort is pricey, around $180/day at peak, so I recommend buying an Epic pass, and then feeling as epic as Bond as you ski down beautifully groomed runs. They have a mix of green to double black, and a couple cliffs to jump off into bowls. I let my imagination run wild once and did jump off a 6 foot cliff, and then rolled a few hundred feet after visiting a yard sale. Thats how wonderfully fluffy the snow was (attempt at your own risk). But anyway, the lifts are quick, the staff is friendly, and there are a bunch of hotels around the area. I highly recommend Breck to all ski levels.

Can't beat Breck for top skiing. Boasts a lot of black runs with fewer blue and only 15% or so greens...not a great place for beginners who need to run greens all day. They'll be doing the same run over and over....amazing skiing for everyone else!

Avoid the A lift unless you like spending 15 minutes in your butt.
