Great slopes and runs for MN. Prices have risen in the past years and costs about 70 dollars for a lift ticket. Mostly two person lifts and one three person lift. Reservations needed to sit in this chalet. Friendly staff and welcoming. Recommend checking out.

I've been here a lot for ski races and for free skiing and it is a fun place to ski! There is a ton more terrain compared to all of the other ski hills in the Twin Cities area. Lift ticket prices are a bit expensive but totally worth it. Food is good too and chalet is warm and spacious. I will be coming again soon!

Great facility. Great hills it s no Vail, but it is local. Lost a star for some definitely not many unenthusiastic lift operators that just let the chair hit ya where it may; & for a lack of lifts open at times. Otherwise it is the ideal place to ski in the midwest!

Extremely busy. Never been in so many lines for so long. Gorgeous weather, but a consistent 10-15 minute wait at a lift for a 1-minute ride down is simply not worth it. Nor was the 60+ minute wait for rental equipment. And the face covering requirements are not being enforced at all. Better luck next time or somewhere else?

The top tier ski area in the Twin Cities. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent snow making coverage, and a good variety of terrain that caters to most ability levels (especially considering the limitations of the region) all make Afton Alps an excellent choice for a fun day in the slopes. The only downside is the cost. Afton's pricing is comparable to big mountain resorts out west, and they are indeed part of the Vail Resorts family. That said, their service and commitment to quality live up to the brand standard, while maintaining a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Overall the experience was great. Plenty of snow even on a 45 degree day. Staff was nice and equipment was easy to get ahold of. The ski lifts were fun to use. Wasn't too crowded either.
I would come here again for sure.

Overall this is a great place for skiing and snowboarding. Several runs and they are maintained well. Could be a little tough for a beginner though it was a little tough as a few of the runs would transition from a green to a blue run that would be a little steep just before the lifts. We had a first time skier with us this time around and they had mentioned that. Parking lots can get a little muddy. Other than that, staff was very nice and very helpful!

I've worked here for over a year, and have come to snowboard for over a decade. I Love the environment, staff and customers alike! Everyone is so helpful and kind and I definitely recommend working here to get a free season pass!
