While the educational content itself is valuable, the subscription and renewal experience left me with a very negative impression of the company. After a long period of inactivity and with no intention of continuing my subscription, I was unexpectedly charged for an annual renewal. The company states that reminder emails were sent, but relying solely on emails that users may never see is not what I would consider a customer-centric approach, especially when a significant annual payment is involved. What concerns me most is that there seems to be little effort to verify whether inactive users still wish to continue their subscriptions. A platform focused on user experience should understand that compliance with terms and conditions is not the same as providing a good customer experience. When I contacted support shortly after discovering the charge, my request for a refund was denied despite the fact that I had not been actively using the service and had no intention of renewing. The responses were polite, but they felt focused on policy rather than fairness or customer satisfaction. A company that teaches and promotes user experience should hold itself to the same standards it advocates. Unfortunately, in this case, the experience surrounding billing and renewals did not reflect those principles. Potential customers should pay close attention to the renewal terms and monitor their subscriptions carefully to avoid unexpected charges. The product may be good, but trust is just as important as featuresβ€”and this experience significantly damaged mine.
