Moderate food at moderate price .... Ok for students

Good for all students and visitors. Not cleaned often enough though (floor is sticky). Food is okay and value for money and their chips and awesome

Go there on Friday, Saturday, Sunday eve for half price drinks.

Great food , great beer , great company and atmosphere!!!

Cheap for drinks, but some food options can be expensive for what they are.

Not the cosiest nor cheapest SU out there, but a reasonably good place to spend an evening. Fortnightly quizzes and 3 pool tables upstairs.

The SU is the place to be on campus. Especially on lock-in night!

Inexpensive however food is generally poor quality and atmosphere is cold and generic despite the recent build.

Staff were totally unconcerned when my table collapsed and all my drink and food lost on the floor. I tried to let the staff know and was given a stern and abrupt reply that she had already been told about it. She did not apologise and simply propped up the table again waiting for another accident to happen. None of the food which was advertised was available. By far the WORST service I have ever had anywhere.

Pros;
The building is nice and the food is pretty nice too. The bar staff are friendly and you get served fast. You can pay with contactless and the music is generally to all tastes. The offers when they do then are pretty good value.

Cons;
For a new purpose built building there is very limited seating. The food takes forever to come out (+40 mins for 5 duck spring rolls at a non busy time) and it's pretty expensive for a place that gets its business from students.

Cheap food which should be a lot cheaper - overpriced pool - dirty tables and chairs - staff who wouldn t smile if you paid them - locals to match the atmosphere- I get it s a uni bar and there are some things you can t help but it could be so much better - worse uni bar I have been to

Low prices, good selection of drinks and great food.

Cheap food, it has a Starbucks and Pie Minster pies which is good. Much better than the old SU.
