There's several classes and seminars at the Utah Parent Center that opened my eyes to new opportunities or resources for my son. Trying to navigate Social Security applications is nerve-wracking, and they've been really kind and helpful. Thank you for being here for parents of extraordinary children!

Navigating the care of your child with special needs, whether it s a new or old diagnosis, is damn near impossible to do alone.

Utah Parent Center has been our #1 resource for information, services, and support since moving to Utah in 2014.

As parents of extraordinary kids, we owe it to ourselves to band together and access the resources available. Your life, and the life of your child, will be better for it!

The Utah Parent Center has helped me SO incredibly much! With everything from assistance with IEPs to Guardianship and beyond. I would never have been able to juggle everything on my own and will be forever grateful for every ounce of help, for what they've taught me, and the kindness they've shown me and my family. Thank You!!!

It's surprising for me to find out that literally EVERYONE working here has a disability of some kind. They have great resources for adults of all disabilities to become independent like places to search for jobs, go to college, get access to public transportation, and more. They also help parents to better understand how to help their disabled child.

We were so excited that our local pool started having inclusive classes. Thank you for putting this information on your website! They already took one session, and it went really well. I signed up for another one! So much more affordable than the private swim lessons for special needs.

I am a resource facilitator with the TBI fund, I work for an agency that is contracted through the utah dept of health to help people find resources that they may not be aware of after suffering a TBI. I have reached out many times to the UPC and each and every time have been offered many different valuable resources for each individual case. The workers really care about each and every referral an go above and beyond what is expected.

Awesome resources. They are my go to for so many questions. If they are unsure how to help, they will do everything in their power to get you to someone that can help. Can not sing their praises enough.

The Utah Parent Center has been there for my family and me for most of my sons life. They answered questions, taught workshops and were friends when I needed them. I can't say enough good things about the services and the people. My son is 18 and just started a new journey and I don't think he would have been able to make the move if it not been for all the love and support that we were given. THANK YOU!

The Utah Parent Center has been and continues to be an amazing support for my family. Having two children with very different disabilities but both needing IEP's, I have leaned on the trainings and expertise of this organization, for great information, as well as giving me the tools needed for me to become my children's advocate and learn how to manuver through what can be a daughting and challenging system. Now as a proffessional working with famlies, I don't hesitate to use their flyers or refer parents to them. I stil love attending their trainings whenever possible.

This is a great place. They truly have the best intentions. They do wonderful things to advocate for the disabled. Please use them if you need help. They are like lawyers for your side and they are non-profit and free to use. If your child is struggling in school, they will help you get an assessment from the school.

The training, resources, and information you provided to our family has made all the difference in our ability to help our son be successful. You have helped us throughout his lifetime and I know you'll be a resource for him and for us in the future.

The staff is very kind, considerate and attentive to all who take part in any type of class. Great for all families starting out with a disabled child, and good for continued support as the child grows.

I can not express how priceless the Utah Parent Center is to me as the parent of a disabled child in Utah.

Resources for disabled children in Utah are scarce. This organization, run by parents of disabled children, has helped me to navigate the unfortunate educational system that Utah should be ashamed of. I ve become familiar with my legal rights to demand the education that should be provided, but isn t.

I m also grateful for the referral to the South Main Clinic. There I have the necessary specialized medical care and referrals.

The UPC has been our best resource for navigating raising handicapped children. They've helped us with school, getting guardianship, social security, and knowing what resources are available. I don't know what we would have done without them.

I, and sometimes my family, have attended several classes or events offered by the Utah Parent Center and have found them to be both helpful and low stress. I love the welcoming atmosphere and helpful information we have gathered over the years. I only wish my schedule would permit me to attend more of the offered classes throughout the year.

Representatives of the Parent center were willing to advise me as a representative of the Sped. dept. and the parents of my students said she shared valuable information at a parent group we organized. I think it is very important for parents to feel they have an advocate available.

Utah Parent Center is a great resource for anyone with a family member with special needs. They were there for us over 20 years ago when our son was born with a rare syndrome. Through the years when we have encountered roadblocks whether it was with the school district or finding services they were there to give helpful advice or guide us to appropriate resources and people. I have referred several people to their office for help. I have taken advantage of classes on guardianship and other things that would benefit our family. This past weekend I was able to share information from their website on an issue another family was dealing with. Utah is very blessed to have this resource in our state. Highly recommend The Utah Parent Center and their amazing staff and volunteers!

I have called the Utah Parent Center with questions about school, teachers, and parent education classes. I always receive great advice and/or clarification about the issues we face in the Special Education program. Knowing that the people with whom we speak have personal experience as well as training is invaluable! I recommend them to other parents trying to navigate the Special Needs world.

I attended a free workshop to learn about the process of getting an IEP for my mildly disabled child. They are SUPPORTIVE & experienced & fully informed. Parking looks more intimidating than it is. Handicapped accessible. Super nice. They have fought so many battles for so many years, you know you are in good hands.
