Couldn't have been more happy with my entire experience. I adore this school with every ounce of my heart and couldn't have asked for a better experience in the 3 years that I was here. From the very first steps on campus everyone has answered my questions, helped me out, and ensured that I would have a positive experience here. As a student I have been able to participate in a multitude of organizations, undergraduate research, had some work published with the help of professors, and accomplished things I sincerely never thought possible. I would choose this school a million times over and I truly wish I had found the school right away rather than after having already done a year at another school. I look forward to continuing my education at this institution for my graduate studies!

I just had a call with the rudest admission call operator I have spoken to. I'm pretty sure it was a student employee, not a staff. Their policies are pretty impractical where they require more than 5 years old records from an international student, especially even when I was able to provide academic records from the last 5 years which are from another accredited US university. This is probably the worst school for international students. There is no wonder they have such a small international student population.

I seriously was considering coming here in the fall. I took a tour and loved the smaller private-college feel while also having the USF accreditation. The campus is truly beautiful. One of the main reason I decided AGAINST this campus (not USF Tampa though because that campus is great) is that not a single person could answer my simple questions about how many students who apply to med school matriculate and get accepted (every school has this data readily available) so that was a red flag. I was just ping ponged between many people which was quite annoying. It s a shame because it s such a beautiful campus and they have a lot of offer especially with the huge scholarship(ended up being a full ride with Prepaid) I was offered from USF but I just decided it was not the best option for the Pre-med track. I would suggest looking at USF Tampa if you must because most of the classes I wanted to take anyways I would ve had to take there even if I stayed on campus at USFSP which is a shame because dealing with that traffic is a nightmare I would not like to endure daily or even bi-weekly (yes it is that bad trust me). Also a note, the campus is right next to an airport so walking around you notice the planes but you can t even hear them inside the building. I was really impressed with what USF offered in scholarship and the dorms were quite nice but just was not the best fit for me. I finally decided on UM because USF just disappointed me in too many ways. You may think it s the best fit and go for it just weigh out your options; I don t think this campus has enough going for it in terms of Pre Med though. Maybe (and hopefully) that will change but for now all I can say is, It s all about the U baby! Go Canes!

The campus is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I was in a classroom that had desks (not even big enough for my textbook) built into the chairs, so besides that being a problem it was also difficult getting in and out of the chairs (and I have a small frame). Then, the professor took forever trying to use the whiteboard because his markings were difficult to erase. The campus definitely has money, so I hope this gets fixed so the students after me can be better accommodated.

USFSP provides a welcoming, diverse, and accepting atmosphere - just what I needed during my time as an undergrad. The resourses on campus revolve around student-centered success - our tutoring center, career center, job/internship fairs, and on-campus events really help break students out of their shell to experience new people, ideas, and backgrounds! I absolutely loved the education I received and am very proud to call myself a USFSP Bull!

This University has ruined my life. Thanks to them I missed out on an entire year of my GI Bill. They will not send my transcripts to another college so that I can continue back at SPC. Not to mention they are horrible to those with disabilities. The policies are extremely confusing and it seems those in charge, such as admissions and advising, do not understand their jobs very well and try to give students the run around. The upper level staff doesn't like to get involved at all. This University needs some serious efficiency experts. The University seems more like a social club for rich out of state students than an educational institution. There is also very little interactive learning. It is all power points and lectures which doesn't produce results that are beneficial in the real world. I am already working in the field I am getting my degree in and learn more at my job than I have in the past year at University. They are very much behind the times in many respects. Even many of the instructors complained that the equipment is better at other colleges including SPC and HCC. Furthermore, their bad policies are part of the reason so many students do not finish school and result in unpaid student loans. The University sets students up for failure. Don't wate your time. Stick to a community college or pay the extra to go to Eckerd or University of Tampa. The biggest mistake I ever made was leaving SPC to go to this dog and pony show.

Again, was planing on going to this school in the fall but one of the security police "Hank Hill" looking guy keeps harnessing me. Says i' m trespassed for life but doesn't know my name. Dated a student and 5 times had to come and ask us questions. Finally she left and went to Gainesville. Tired of being harassed. But i was never trespassed. Nor was she. So i think i will follow her to Gainesville. Please do something with your failed state police security. They abuse their power.

Do yourself a favor and don t even try taking a summer class here. Not only did they not get my user ID number until the last day to register but I only spoke with the school 3 times. I called over 20 times, leaving multiple messages with absolutely no response. This is actually ridiculous how any school could conduct itself in this manner because it s a joke! My mother had to call to actually get a response from the school and I am an adult man! I even went into the offices to approach this problem head on and for some reason the admissions and registrars offices are fighting against each other just pointing fingers. It s funny to see the academic equivalent of a five year old child.

Literally every single semester in a row since the beginning has been a cluster**** trying to register for classes. Let's see... when I first signed up, they lost my transcripts, then my transcripts never got processed and they wanted me to pay for prerequisite courses that I had already taken graduate level courses for, then I got billed for the prereqs anyway and had to send multiple emails to get it taken care of, then I couldn't register for courses because of unknown holds that the system wouldn't tell me any details about, then I had to go in person to get shots to get the holds removed even though I never intend to step a single foot on campus, then I couldn't register for any courses because none were available, and now here I am trying to register again for my third semester and getting notices of premits and prerequisites required when I'm trying to register for core MBA courses that are required and do not have any prerequisites listed for them online. SERIOUSLY, PLEASE GET YOUR **** TOGETHER. Complete disorganization and a lack of communication appears to be the norm.

While the campus was absolutely gorgeous, I wish I had not gone to school at a satellite campus. In their attempt to force us to help with their accreditation, we were inundated with busy work and I actually wound up graduating a year later than I was supposed to because their busy work held me back.

Definitely an amazing campus. It should not be underestimated due to its short age of being accredited. There is definitely stellar education in smaller class sizes. Professors with amazing and thorough experience in their fields. The campus itself is gorgeous, easy to navigate and close to many restaurants and shops

The school is nice. Much nicer than Tampa. Let's be real, Tampa is gross. But they waste our money on stupid things. Making the school look pretty. Putting on social events. But not the important things. Like encircling the globe. Keeping the oceans in check. Buying new equipment for the labs. Preventing the start of Ragnarok. Those are things I can get behind

USFSP's got one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen and is right by Downtown St. Pete, so no matter what you're craving, you're bound to find it. There's a wide variety of interesting classes and class sizes are pretty small so you can get individualized attention. There's also a good variety of clubs and fun events almost every night. As a recent graduate, I would definitely recommend it for anybody looking for a smaller school that contains all the best parts of a larger school and more!

Worst customer service ever. They nickel and dime you for everything and everything. And no one is able to awnser you any question because there is just to many people handeling a process. I have never experienced such horrible service at any college. Dont applay for this college and save your self some money and get a better education else where. It might seam easy and great when you are in, but when you are you will start to see all the other small expenses that they do not tell you about. There tuitions is already crazy.

My son just started school there for the summer session. So far, I have had nothing but problems. From the first day at orientation, very rude staff. Most of the "staff" working in the various departments are students who have no idea about what they are doing. They will hang up on you, transfer you blindly to another department. Just horrible. I am having second thoughts about this school even as an option. It's really sad, because the school LOOKS beautiful.

I love my alma mater! I studied English Literature and enjoyed every moment of being at this beautiful campus. I highly recommend getting into the honors program, it makes the educational experience a thousand times more exciting.

Some cool things about this campus: you can rent sail boats with your student ID, great library, superb gym and downtown St. Pete is is packed with great cafes, restaurants, museums, etc.

Our daughter has completed her first year at USFSP and it has been an excellent experience from orientation and throughout the school year! The staff has been very helpful in many situations from the application process, financial aid, housing, and even her physical well being. The campus is absolutely beautiful. The walk-ability to downtown St. Petersburg is awesome and she has the pleasure of living on the waterfront! Class sizes are small which is a blessing!
