One of the best spots of its kind in the area. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Prices were good for how much you get.
Good food. Great service. Will be back for sure. P.s. Leg of Lamb recommended. And Borsh.
Food was woundeful, nice outside dining, what matters the most is that they really don't care if you Waring a mask , Keep Americans free
Good food, good service, inexpensive however a little bit cramped.
A nice Uzbeki restaurant with nice food.
Shisj kebabs are pretty good and so is the appetizer bread.
The space inside is very cozy and there is also seating outside when the weather is good.
uzbeki food, super yummy. Food was so tasty. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.
Oh my goodness my husband and I loved this place and want to take it back to buffalo with us. The food is awesome!
Very bad place ever,we are wait too long our food it is take 2 hour for only salads
Excellent food! Nothing like it around. Soups are all delicious! Shish kebabs are all wotlrth trying. Very attentive service, cozy atmosphere! Napoleon is 10 on a 10 scale!!! New favorite restaurant.
Great food, just the parking was hard at night time and the place tends to be cramped up a bit. Reserve!
The Lamb Chops are great! They re evenly cooked and are made with care. the place is very lively and I m definitely coming back for seconds!
My family enjoys going to Uzbekistan on special occasions.
The food is so delicious! Service was good too, what more can you ask for !
Really cheap and authentic place. All the Russians gather here. Borscht is fantastic here as was the honey cake for dessert. Girls love that weird Russian punch stuff
What happened? We used to love this place but the service was SO SLOW on our last visit. It took 40 mins to get water. They brought tea but no cups. Then they only served us half of our entrees. We had to ask them to bring the other half. Such a bummer. We have been coming here for years. But we need to find a new favorite place:(
Awesome, authentic Uzbek food at a very fair price. Great ambiance, too!
Unfortunately, one star since the first visit's attentive waitress can't cancel the second visit's 'I don't care and you can't make me care' waitress.
Two diners in the restaurant yet Miss Thing busied herself watching too loud tee vee music videos while we waited...waited...waited; initially for our food; finally the check.
By not ordering desert we saved ourselves a further 20 minute wait.
First visit's waitress earned $20 tip.
Second visit's waitress found nothing beneath our balled-up napkins.
I doubt she cared one way or another.
I love this place! The food is amazing and it is a BYOB.
I highly suggest their kababs ( the sea bass and lamb ribs are to die for!!) did I tell you about their breads !!!!
For dessert definitely try their Napoleons( order with your food and reserve for later they usually ran out very fast, you might get lucky) with their hot tea.
This place is joke. Prices are different than menu wait 40 mins to take order. Never come back again!!!
My always go to place when i do not know what i want to eat out!
One of our favorite places. I m a very adventurous eater, but my wife is more of a steak and potatoes person. Uzbekistan is the perfect place for both of us. Kabobs are delicious. Steak and chicken for the less adventurous and chiken hearts, etc. for me! Tons of dumplings, salads and sides. Plus it s BYOB. Vodka, wine, beer all go with this food. Absolutely love this restaurant!
Fantastic food, Best service, Beautifull place for pleasure Thank you uzbekistan !
The food is very good here. A couple of things that made my experience unpleasant, starting from the service. Second, the server wasn't very good at her job and didn't explain the options that came with the order. And worst of all for me, was that our food did not come together.
Went to Uzbekistan restaurant today. Awesome food! Best kebobs in northeast philly.
Amazing food with unique Mediterranean flavors. Also pleased with the generous portions. I recommend getting the steak kabobs.
We tried plov, samsa and honey cake for dessert, it was very good
Great service and even better food ask to be put in Michaels section he s the best server !
The food is good, but the service is extremely slow and the waitress is incredibly slow.
Greetings to the owner .. I recommend the restaurant is all delicious and hygiene, I had the opportunity to work with them ..
Food is delicious middle eastern and European taste !!!
Nice flavors, good service, friendly staff, clean and cozy atmosphere.
Lacking one star only to the fact that I couldn t take my coffee to go.
What a great find! Went there with friends(made reservation/covid) an amazing variety of cuisine, all homemade. Ch e co out the menu for ideas. Staff was helpful with suggestions. Good parking
Horror !!!
The service is simply off scale in its simplicity!
The food is tasteless, just regretted the salt and pepper!
I am already silent about Uzbek spices!
The cook yells at the waiters at the guests with obscenities !!!
Chicken dumplings would be better bought in a store than a disgrace!
The waitresses just don't know the menu!
When asked what would you advise She just smiled!
What is your coffee ??? She said I don t know !!!
Shish kebab is just about nothing!
Not pickled meat!
There is not even a thought about any fire!
All in oil and a frying pan!
In general, even one star is a lot !!!
Excellent food, large menus, friendly staff, large and free parking, nice interior, low price. This is my favorite restaurant in Philly.
Terrible service. The waiters rush to and fro, but they never approached us. Poor organization.
The food was delicious. I had the beef, lamb, and chicken kabobs, the mushroom soup and the tongue salad. Service was fantastic, very friendly, and attentative staff.
authentic Russian Uzbek food. authentic old world service too... relax and take your time :-)
If you wanna try new food this is the place to visit
Great place with very delicious food. They have good prices and plate size is pretty decent! I would definitely come back!
Incredible food, decent prices and a beautiful outdoor patio!
Rude service. Boring food. Took 2hrs to get our food. Really really rude service. Blonde older lady was rude
We sat at the table for 20 minutes and no server came over. Needless to say we left and will not be coming back
One of our favorite eateries, not just in Philly, but in the world. And my wife and I have traveled the world over. My wife has even worked in the country of Uzbekistan. Consistently top notch food in a most interesting and pleasant dining atmosphere. The owner, Arthur, and his crew have a world class establishment here.
Good food, reasonable prices. Some servers have limited English.
GREAT PLACE TO BE... BUT TINY FOR PARTY!!! WISH FOR NEW MUCH BETTER LOCATION
Amazing place. Menu available in Russian and English. Pretty good loose leaf tea (green and black) and tasty kompot (kinda punch) in addition to variety of soups, pelmeni (dumplings) and plov (pilaf)
Delicious food, prompt service, competitive prices.
Poor service, had to badger them to find a seat, to get service. Couple of items we ordered, they ran out of. That said, we had a great waiter and the food was ok, kind of bland. Not sure if that's just how Uzbek cuisine is or it was this one day, but I didn't feel like I would go back again.
Comfort Russian/Uzbek food, moderately priced. Soups are very good and hearty.
This place IS nuts. The food is absolutely delicious and they will bring you food you didn't even order at no charge to you! The kabobs and verenikas were just plain perfect!!!! I recommend you do go with a large group and bring your own alcohol.
The owner seems to be intoxicated while he interacts with customers. He was rude to me-the person who talked my party of 4 people into eating here! He must have realized he was out of line as he sent us additional dishes we had not ordered. A tray of desserts appeared on the table which were not charged to us, so be prepared for anything when you go here!
Love this place. This is my go to place if I have grilled meat cravings. Everything is so fresh and so flavorful. Love their kebabs and soups. Pretty much everything they cook is awesome. They have a wide variety to choose from. Affordable for sure. You can sit inside or outside. Wonderful atmosphere.
Uzbek second best food in world. Number one = KAZAKSTAN!
Good Food, Artur the owner always around and checks on customers, I highly recommend the place.
Food is amazing! Get the Mushroom Julianne and the lamb skewers. Nothing but empty plates at the end of our meal!
Uzbekistan is a great restaurant to explore Eastern European culture and cuisine; the food is easily reflective of genuine Slavic dishes, and tastes amazing. Although the inside of the restaurant is a bit crowded, it has a nice dim ambiance that allows for an intimate lunch or dinner. There is also an outdoor deck which is fenced off from the busy Bustleton Avenue but still gets a bit noisy from traffic. The outdoor deck is also spacious, can seat larger groups, and is well lit with a pretty lighting setup. The prices aren't outrageous, but they aren't super cheap either. However, the price is most definitely worth it because the food is fresh and delicious. I recommend getting as much of their fresh-baked Turkish bread as you can -- they're famous for it.
The lamb ribs and chops are the most flavorful I ever had. The service is great though you must give them time to prepare fresh food. The bread is also awsome. I have been here twice in three days and I regret tjat I skipped tje one day. If I get to come back to this area I will definitely have the sea bass.
One of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing, the staff is great too. Outdoor seating is super cute - you can sit out front or in the back. The food reminds me of a home cooked meal. Expect to sit there for hours eating and enjoying great conversation, we always do! There is a colony of cats that live in the attached parking lot - they are very well taken care of thank god. Feel free to feed them some left overs as I always buy them a chicken shish kabob and cut it up for them :) Just be careful driving in and out of the parking - look out for the cats!!!
Food had a ton of flavor and every dish was great. Try the Beef Stroganof. The prices were more than fair. Go as soon as you are able!
The best service ever and food reasonable price. Delicious food. Even though I came from NY where a lot places like this one. I liked this place even more. Many thanks.
The ambience is definitely an eye catcher. The architecture along with vibrant lighting makes for a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely everything I expected. I ordered many entrees however what stood out to me most was the pickle platter and the grilled trout. It was just phenomenal. If your looking for a great place to eat with a hint of culture and great music this is the place to go.
Great place serving Uzbek and Russian food, inside and outside sitting available.
well cooked tasty food, especially kebabs, good service, I am going to come again
excellent cuisine, barbecue very tasty, good service, comfortable and good
Great restaurant! The kabobs are the best and definitely my go-to dish! Great place for casual dining or a business meeting. A favorite spot of mine!
