This is the second time I ve ordered from Medals of America and I have been very pleased each time. Today I spoke with a gentleman named Kenny and he was professional, courteous and very helpful. My husband is a resident in VA medical center and today I was placing an order for another veteran in the same facility. One item he wanted wasn t in the catalog I had, but Kenny was able to do a search and quickly found exactly what Mike described to me and I know he ll be so happy when I tell him that. Thanks so much to Kenny and to your great company.

Today, I purchased a Ribbon Rack from Medals of America. The customer service representative, Andrea, was excellent! Andrea took the time to listen to my order and make sure that everything was perfect. It is very rare these days to find World Class Customer Service. Hello, I ordered a shadow box for my Late brother Steve , I wanted to Honor Him for his Service in the Vietnam War..He served time in the Marine Corps back in 1960's. At Medals of America, I Spoke to a very Honorable Man Mr. Marvin Prophet..He was so polite and gracious as a retired Military Man Himself. He did a super job in helping me trying to put my brothers order for the shadow box that I wanted together. He made a lot of good suggestions for my request.. I thank Marvin for going out of his way to keep my order straight.. I really appreciated the Time and Help... Thank you Again..

The purpose of this review is to bring to attention to their pricing on flat ribbon racks. I ordered flat ribbons last year and received them well in time and in good quality. I even felt better when the package included a note instructing to send back the ribbon racks when you need an update. NOT THE THING with flat ribbons - you will need to build a new rack all over again! It does not make sense to not give a discount to a customer who was willing to pay more for flat ribbons to begin with. All I want is to add one ribbon and a device, and you are going to charge me for all of my ribbons again?

Bottom line up front:
I took the time to verify a soon to be retiree s record (for awards accuracy). I placed an order for a ribbon rack 1.5 months I m advance as this was supposed to go onto his Dress uniform for his shadow box. After three weeks, I called to check the status only to find out that it wasn t even started! Then, after they graciously overnight the ribbons rack, it was all sorts of wrong (of course I had already paid) despite having been checked by a veteran. Additionally, I m at a remote location where military accessories and things like that are difficult to purchase.

I placed an order for both unit awards and a full rack of my awards. When my box finally showed up, it came with an itemized list of all the ribbons I ordered, but it only contained two ribbons; my unit awards. I'm disappointed and a little aggravated to see that the biggest part of my order is not in it. I got a quick response when I sent an email to let them know the problem. So I'm back to waiting again. I do understand mistakes happen, but you kind of expect something significant like this to be caught and corrected considering they have quality control and a person signing that they verified the order before they packed it. The product itself is great, but the big problem being overlooked and the long wait is stressful.

I needed a Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze stars and a return of a small Meritorious Unit Citation, subsequently replacing it with a full size one. Tom was very helpful with just how to return the Meritorious Unit Citation and additionally add the 2 bronze stars to the Vietnam Service Medal. He was very professional and patient with me while I fumbled around. I will most likely be ordering a Shadow Box soon.

I had a great experience with placing my order with Rebecca. She was very nice and quick with the order; it literally took 5 minutes. She was very knowledgeable when I asked questions about where to start with getting my father's shadow box started, she provided the number to the National personal Records Center and advised once i get a copy of the dd214 she would be glad to help me put it together. I am super excited about doing this!! I will definitely request her assistance with anything going forward.

I recently spent a good amount of time on the phone with Thomas Boyles, a Customer Representative from Medals of America. He was one of the most courteous and professional customer care people that I have ever dealt with. He took great care to understand what it is I wanted and how I wanted it designed. He answered all my questions. He was very good at giving advice about different details that would make my husband s shadowbox a perfect and beautiful piece for all of us to enjoy for a long time to come. He had a wealth of knowledge about different medals, patches, and various other pieces of military emblems, and when he wasn t sure, he knew exactly how to research it. He was compassionate and empathetic toward our family s desire for a beautiful memorial honoring our military hero who has just recently passed away. I am grateful to Medals of America and Their representative, Thomas Boyle for all the hard work they put into this memorial. And I would recommend them highly to anyone.
