Trying to contact anyone here as an American Citizen is pathetic. Not once has the ACS picked up their phone, even when it is between their "operating hours", of 9 to 11 a.m. God help you if you are actually in trouble.
I made a reservation to get a doc stamped by notary. So i took an appointment on line. Arriving at the embassy i was blocked by local guards from entering since i had a PC. I couldnt see any signage outside saying THEY DID NOT HAVE STORAGE. Just said you couldnt bring in. After getting upset. I asked to see a USA personnel( med size man with gray beard came out. Polite. Apparently the web site had a notice which I didnt see when i booked my slot a week earlier nor didnt I get a notification that PC etc were not authorized. To make a long story short. READ CAREFULLY AND DONT BRING A PC, LAPTOP ETC. If so you ll need to store it at Gambir Train Station. Level 1.
Best experience ever. Next year my US visa will be expired. Should I comeback again? Hahaha
Decision of eligibility to get a Visa is not appropriate. Honestly disappointed because the funds had been spent five millions twice the interview did not pass
In the past, I often went here when I got home from work, the location was southeast of Monas, the security was tight. If you took public transportation, you could get off at Gambir bus stop / station.

is an embassy located in the middle of the city of Jakarta and very close to the state palace. the building is very magnificent with very tight security. there are multiple doors and guarded by embassy officers with complete weapons. the parking lot is very large. but for private cars you have to park at the location. which is a bit far from this place. the service is quite good. when we enter we are prohibited from bringing all electronic equipment let alone weapons. visa management is quite good and friendly

The US ambassador did not know but the service was good and for the building affairs seemed a suitable perspective for the land in Jakarta.

i think the visa guy was cool and fun. but 1. they re bad at number arrangements 2. horrible security. they lost my airpods and played as if they re the nice guy and blaming us instead when i clearly remember putting it inside the white box.

Last September 17 administered a visa here but had to remedial so I want to reschedule again. For those of you who are from out of town must prepare 1 day before staying in this location because you have to queue before 6:30 in the morning otherwise you will be longer in the queue line.

The US Embassy has 2 entrances from across from Monas and from Jalan Kebon Sirih. It is quite spacious and magnificent for the size of an embassy. Just finished renovations. Unfortunately the guards outside, especially those on the side of the Kebon Sirih road, are not friendly. Several times I have caught arguing with an online motorcycle taxi.
