US Air Force, Langley AFB VA Reviews

When I was transferred from Portsmouth Hospital to Langley I was not a fan of how far away it was but after having several appointments there, AND then my daughter getting transferred there as a baby.. I was always impressed with how fast I could get seen. The PC I had, she was great.

Great security. Friendly, courteous personnel. Great place for an air show!

Stopped by for a few hours for the air show. Great base BX has lots of restaurants and lots of variety on the bx showroom. Didn't get to do much on the base but saw a few trails along the water way. Recommend a visit if in the area.

Finance department needs to get it together. Took me two weeks just to get an answer from them since it seemed they had no clue about what was going on. Glad I separated. smh

The hospital emergency room is entirely too slow. For a person to be in pain and running a high fever service should be more quicker. A person shouldn't be waiting over 8 hours to taking care of.

I enjoy the open house they have. Great aircraft with a festival feel.

I'm a Vietnam vet it's been 40 years since I was on that base an flew out tried to visit it yesterday went to visitors center never been so badly treated was not allowed on base even with my va card card back today the young man talked to today was no help I guess I need to be a rag head or something to see old base is a sad sad day for me I traveled 400 miles an round I had to have a Spencer like I no someone in now what good is a visitor center an why cant I talk to base commander on request this not right I love see this read an replied too text me rcoutdoors@outlook

I was stationed there From 1988 to 1991. We are the 1st wing and 1st in Operation desert shield. It's hard to believe but we were a part of history!

Greatest base by far! the sounds of f-22 taking off never gets old.

It's a military instillation. Seen one, you've seen 'em all.

Best gym ever!! The shopping is fancy. If you are a St. LEO STUDENT and you need help from the office, get ready for excuses straight from the office manager ! He is an excuse making machine. Government buildings typically close at 4:30, but that is for government personnel. THEY are not government personnel. They wont help you after 4:30pm. Not even to register for a class! This takes away from St. Leo sales,, having students enrolled in classes is sales. They have forgotten that they are there to service the active military not make excuses. Eight hours work for eight hours pay! Make sure you have given a certification to the VA,because they will not bother. You won't get your housing allowance if this certification of enrollment is not turned in. The teachers on the other hand are so generous. They will always stay after to answer question or a lot office time for coaching Thank you! It should be said that some courses are superfluous. It is unfortunate that people in the work force don't care who Nefertiti is but that's how it is. If the elements of art get away from the meaning of these works and that's what's important.

Great place to visit but bad place to be stationed.

This base is very nice compared to other bases I been too.

Awesome fast food place. The burgers taste nice, the fries are perfectly salty and the pancakes taste like heaven, especially when you put toaster cream on them.

Clean, nicely landscaped, Great static plane displays. Excellent organization for the air show crowd.

Great stay at $60 for a full bed with a mini fridge/freezer, microwave and tv. Inn is easily accessible by the main west gate and a secondary gate (that is closed on weekends). Right across the street from the express gas station/mini mart with a dominos and Burger King. Close to the fitness center and chapels. Great location

Has everything and the most wonderful people. They go above and beyond.

Pediatric doctors aren't worth two cents. They don't really care about your child they are just another file to them. They rush you out the way because they have other "files" to get to. Then when you take your child in to get shots at immunizations they quickly stick your child and move on to the next. No trying to interact with the child or anything. They stuck my daughter so fast didn't even give me time to comfort her after the shot, plus they totally missed the spot that the band aide was suppose to go.
