Great Hidden Gem in London

Great Hidden Gem in London

Lots to see and great views of the Millennium Dome in this art district

With a cafe and a diner that are both very generous and reasonable, its a great place to visit and get some photos.

Trinity Buoy is a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit! This wharf has London s only lighthouse and historically was the base for the storage and maintenance of buoys used on the Thames, hence the name! The area was almost completely derelict as recently as 1998, but has been repurposed as a creative hub! This vibrant area includes sculpture, artists' studios, gallery spaces, rehearsal rooms, event spaces, cafes and a diner. We love this place and especially the buildings constructed from shipping containers!

Adapted well to social distancing. Food and drinks easily ordered via website on mobile phone. No need to register or sign up first, very smooth process. Tasty food with a great view of the O2 and the City.

Amazing and unusual eclectic space with great river views of the Dome and Canary Wharf. Steeped in history and home to London's only lighthouse. Arts and events space. Great place for a party!

Interesting place with a museum and other things to see around the area, go before they get rid of the interesting old industrial seafaring buildings and replace them with generic boring expensive flats.

An impressive art centre created from a number of repurpised pist industrial buildings with some modern additions. All to create a brilliant community space where artists can work in a suitable environment.

A lot of stuff here is done by volunteers hence best support them!

A great place just to walk around and / or stop for a coffee.

Avoid.

I'm here frequently and this place is contantly changing! There's always something to do here, from seeing art exhibitions to eating some pancakes to just staring out over the beautiful views of the river and docklands.

Stumbled upon this place recently, never knew the lighthouse history etc. A great place to visit if you are into your art which I'm not, but still enjoyed my meal at the diner along with a coffee or three. Great views of the 02.

A great place to stop, really welcoming staff, easy to talk with, great food from them too :) Some great specials, on the day I visited, they had In-Bagel options for most of their meals!

Really great little spot that seems to be one of the Docklands best kept secrets. Very quirky with a couple of good places to grab a light bite. The cafe is perfect for a relaxed weekend brunch with plenty of diverse breakfasts to choose from.

It's ok

Far out arty creative dynamic, with light ships, trimarans, buoys, and shipping-container city. Associations with Michael Faraday and Gerard Manley Hopkins. Fat Boy Diner also in place.

As a wedding venue this place is as good as it gets. Fantastic riverside setting with views of the Dome and the Cablecar. Versatile stylish space, inside and out. Even a lighthouse to explore and enjoy. Helpful admin team, obliging security staff. Expensive but worth it.
