If you are interested in historical hidden places you must visit the Trinity Buoy Wharf- this is where you will find out about sounds, metal work, electricity and spot lots of art work wherever you look. A great place for back to Victorian times adventure with your kids. Lots of things to spot and think about. Great place for unique views of London.

What a great find. Hidden away but with lots of good stuff inluding London's smallest museum. God food available - good views. I alnost don't want to tell people about this place for fear it will get overrun.

Wonderfully quirky former Buoy making facility, now become an arts centre. Features a range of great places to eat, fascinating sculptures and London's only lighthouse! Great views over to the O2 as well. Let's itself down by spoiling it's own views with truly ugly office buildings. Hopefully they will get replaced by something more fitting.

Not sure I'm really qualified to review this place, as I only really went to pick up a painting for a friend, but nonetheless I found this hidden away little artistic enclave quite interesting, and look forward to going back at some point for an exhibition.

Love the buoy wharf! There's a nice vibe to this place. You get a nice sea view with the O2 Arena right in front. There's three places to choose from if you want to sit and relax - The trinity cafe, The Fatboy diner and another cafe just under the car as you see in the image. I've seen many weddings take place here too and I guess it just makes for the perfect venue. Cut off from the city hustle bustle. There's also a primary school in the area called the Faraday Prep School

A great coffeeshop and great menu with vegan options too. The breakfast burrito and iced coffee is by far my favourite on the menu that I can't get anywhere else. They seem to use really good quality ingredients in their food.
Everytime I've visited the Orchard, it's had a really great atmosphere. Staff are polite and the place is really clean. It's family friendly too which is great.

A rare find, artists, craftists, estheticians from an other planet created a world of it's own.The concept of the "container" turned into an office, living space, workshop, shop, recording studio...or anything but storage has found a stunning incarnation.Well worth a visit.Be aware that the gates are closing at 19h00 daily.

Such a good place to visit.

Such a good place to visit.
My special interest was the Michael Faraday exhibition they have there as he is a particular favourite inventor of mine.
Love the arts aspect and this is a sadly forgotten and often berated part of our infrastructure.
Very good for us as a Country to recognise the financial and social benefits a strong artistic culture brings to this Country.
There need to be more places like Trinity Buoy Wharf, very important and highly recommended to visit.

New idea of construction of a building by shipping containers is diplayed.

Great place with lots to show and a wealth of history.

Don't pass up the opportunity to stop by if you're ever in the area. There's even parking so there's no excuse!

Have a wonder about and enjoy yourself. Lots of cool things to spot if you have your eyes peeled

Nice

Great local place to visit. There's a cute cafe on site, as well as an American style diner that serves brunch and American fast food. There are lots of art pieces dotted around, as well as a little immersive open air exhibition on Michael Faraday, who conducted some of his experiments there. They have a lighthouse with a sound generating artwork that is installed during the millennium celebrations, and will continuously generate new music without repetition for 1000 years. There are occasional exhibitions in the gallery underneath on of the main buildings. There's a lot to explore here, and there are often new things to see. It's by far my favourite local spot, and I look forward to the area developing further.

If you like discovering the less known London - this place is a must.
There is a lighthouse there which you can visit, few other art projects, lovely view of the O2, cafe and a Diner when you get hungry. And you can get a boat ride across the Thames to the O2.

Ancient and modern side by side. Cafes, art, one of the oddest musical installations. The rivers are industrially picturesque (get down there before the start building up the far side of the Creek.

We got off the clipper here to be on the north side of the river on a Sunday about 7pm and everything was closed. We weren't looking for sightseeing, just making our way back to the hotel. The only people around were young lads smoking weed, dancing around with a car stereo blasting and a drone flying around, presumably filming them. Weird. Anyway it felt really uncomfortable until we walked into Royal Victoria station, but that was quite a walk.

I have never been there before. I went by accident to take some night photos. I don't regret. The view over the Thames, O2 Arena, Emirates cable cars is stunning. How to get to Trinity Buoy Wharf? Canning Town is the closest tube station.
