The Best and only quadruple or bigger barn sized thrift store I've ever been to. The place is an artist/gardener/puzzler/ builder's adventure. Things are priced quite fairly, except the guy in the back by the planter area prices things too high.

This is one of my favorite places in the Bay. Don't be fooled by the busy appearance and be patient. Inventory constantly changes, some things need a little bit of love, and you are doing a disservice to yourself if you don't take your time. If you are remodeling/redecorating, exploring a new hobby, looking for some books/music, or just need some creative/practical inspiration, swing by. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I had 6 doors that needed a new home. On the phone I asked if they would take them. They said bring them in and they will look at them. I did, and they helped unload them. Urban Ore made me feel that they were doing me a favor by accepting them.

They have so much inventory right now, great time to find almost anything you can think of. Got some books and pants this time. I've gotten furniture, a great rug (took it straight to cleaner), light fixtures and more. Great for doors too.

More of a junk yard that a salvage yard, but maybe that s just semantics. There is a ton of junk here. The bulk of it is strange, misfit items that nobody really wants but are in good enough condition to keep on the shelves. Anything that is relatively nice, or at least salvageable, costs nearly as much as it is new. It seems that their building supplies and hardware is where they shine, but it is once again not exceptionally cheap and the quality is inconsistent.

One of our favorite places to go in the East Bay. Been going here since I was in college. Now we go with our kids and they love it too. Lots of junk, yes, but fun junk! And treasure too sometimes. If you are into reusing, recycling and repurposing, this is the place for you.
