Quiche was good. Coffee was good. I was honestly expecting a bit better selection

Great staff and variety of baked goods and other foods. Very family friendly. Bustling on weekends; bring headphones if you want to read.

The service is a little curt but only because of how busy they are. Their pastries are delicious and their top sellers run out quickly, so it's best to get here early. They are packed and finding parking in their tiny lot can be a doozy, but thankfully there are plenty of seats.

I started visiting this place when it was a hole in the wall. While the food quality is still great but it is a yuppy place - the old time culture bus gone. I still go there with my daughter.

Really fantastic, centrally-located bakery. Their cinnamon rolls are not for the faint of heart, or for the diabetic: dense to the max--sweet, dense, sugar-coated, warm and doughy. Their lunch is also fresh and very reasonably priced-- $5 for a sandwich with sides or a soup with sides. Check it out if you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite, a coffee or a pastry, or if you'd like to find a place to work for the day (wi fi available).

I love love love this place. I eat lunch, pastries, and breads from here. Nothing has disappointed me yet. One of my favorite places. I would recommend the Italian creme cake.

Needed to pick out some bakery items for my mother for mother's day. I've never been but thought I'd give this place a shot. She loved everything I picked out, she's a tough critic on her desserts so that's a win. The workers there were helpful and allowed me to take my time. They have quite a bit to choose from. I'll definitely be back.

The baked goods are always delicious but the service is what keeps me away. Not the nicest staff.

Great food, however I m dropping two stars due to their way when they receive your order and handling during your payment at the cashier. They lack the basic customer service looking at you very unfortunate. They like hurry hurry pay and leave. Do not miss the Pecan pie!

One of the best bakeries in all of Austin. Their "grandma's chocolate cake" is especially moist and delicious, but you can't really go wrong with anything here. I'm sure the not sweet things are good, too, but I can't resist their desserts, so I wouldn't know. Tip: you can buy cake by the slice if you'd rather cake than cupcake. I didn't realize that at first.

This place has always been a favorite of mine since my college years. 10 years later and it is still excellent!! Fresh lunch options and everything in the bakery is fresh and amazing. Cannot go wrong with the cinnamon rolls and brioche! I wish we had this place in Houston!

Marzipan croissants are fabulous! Love the coffee cake selection. Beautiful birthday cakes. Cozy, a great place to sit and enjoy a morning.

Oh my goodness... So many amazing pastries to choose from. We made our selection of three and were not disappointed. We will be going back to work through the rest

We visited the bakery with high expectations to get a pastry for my wife's birthday, but unfortunately we didn't get what we wanted because they were almost out of stock. I would suggest to the customers to get there early morning if they want their choice of confectioneries, and will also request the bakery to restock the items during the day to avoid disappointment for the customers. Thanks.

The cinnamon rolls. What else is there to say. I come and get them for my staff frequently and bring them home to my family as well. They are just delightful.

A good assortment of baked goods to be found in this busy little cafe. Today I purchased a cheese and jalapeno croissant, a large piece of cornbread, and a cup of coffee. All were delicious.

This bakery is really nice! Cheap, good food and the people that work there care about their bakery products. Definitely recommended.

So many recommendations but it was a giant disappointment. They was nothing available and what was available was all terrible. I really wanted to try a cinnamon roll or a bear claw but those were all gone. The employees there were not very helpful or nice at all. Completely dismissed me as a customer because I was trying to make decisions on what to get with the small selection. Honestly a rude crowd that works here. The sausage puff was awful and the blueberry muffin one of the worst ones I've ever had. Better off eating one that was pre packaged from the grocery store.

My favorite bakery in Austin! Their cinnamon rolls are amazing! The parking can be tricky, but there are spots in the back as well.

They're local, they practically give away their day olds, their employees are so kind and friendly, and their cinnamon rolls are to die for! They have sweet and savory foods, to- from danishes to quiches to gigantic cinnamon rolls.

It's the best. I drive from Elgin over 25 mi. Just to go there. The young men are lovely there that wait on you.

I was unable to pick up my wife's birthday cake due to icy road conditions last week. I called Upper Crust letting them know that I would not be able to make it, but to donate it to someone in need. This was not their fault. The Upper Crust team called me back and asked when I would be able to pick up a replacement cake the following week at no extra charge. This is above and beyond my expectations. The level of customer service AND the quality of their cakes are spectacular. Thank you UC team!

Excellent strawberry and rhubarb pie, and they pour a mean coffee too.

This was my first time and it was later in the day so the bakery cabinets were sold out, but what remained looked great and they had a constant line the entire time, so they gotta be doing something right.

Definitely visiting again.

Food: Love the sweets, but my favorite is the a avocado sandwich on enfleur bread. Always delicious and reasonably priced.

Great tasting latte at an even better price. Make sure to stop by and support them by ordering takeout, which they deliver to your car.

I almost don't want to tell you how good the cheese soup is because then I'll have to share. Shockingly not heavy but still delicious. Top 3 favorite foods of all time. And every dessert is awesome (get a marble cupcake, order a marisa gateau) but that's not a secret.

The Italian chocolate cake is simple, moist and tasty for a reasonable price. A few years ago though we got their cheesecake and I thought it was overpriced for the quality. But then things may have changed since then...

I have yet to have a bad experience with the quality of the customer service or food quality at Upper Crust. Their cheese soup is to die for, and although I don t recommend combining the two, if you ever get the chance to devour some Italian Cream Cake, you will not regret it. Their menu offers a wide range of pastries and desserts as well as soups, salads, sandwiches, and wraps in their cases. There is a good amount of seating although some tables are close to where customers wait in line, which can be noisy. The quality of their food (especially for the price it is at) continues to amaze me. I was able to get two large Italian Creme Cakes (serving 72 people) for $64. If you are looking for somewhere to sit and have lunch or do work, Upper Crust is the place. It is locally owned with fresh ingredients and you will enjoy whatever you get.

The food is always excellent! I work nearby, and this is my go to place for lunch! Make sure you try the quiche!

The clerk is very friendly and local people are always crowded.

Buncha jerks about their parking. Large lot and they have signs everywhere saying, "no Cocina de Consuelo parking." Not very neighborly of them. It's not like Consuelo's has more than 5 tables in the entire place...

First off I never give 5-star rating, just my policy. First time and it was great. The cheese apricot pastry was very good but their sugar/cinnamon role was Excellent. It had a crusty exterior (have no idea how they do that and rolled in cinn/sugar. The inside was pull apart flaky/doughy in a very tasty way. I'm not a coffee snob so I thought their coffee was perfect. And all at great prices to boot. Took home a brioche loaf, 4 of the cinn/sugar rolls and a strawberry rhubarb pie -- yes a whole pie. Everything was great. Highly recommend. Plenty of parking, table seating. Many customers coming in (sunday morning) and the customers moved fast. The staff was very pleasant, but I like to chat people up. I know people complain about the service -- but give these guys a break they are serving hundreds of customers a day. I would recommend if you don't know what you are getting, first go and look at all the cases before getting in line. Give it another try.

Even with the church crowd, the service was fast and courteous. I got my drink and sandwich very fast and the vibe inside was still very relaxing despite the line

Second time here. I went at 3 one day and they were sold out of the things I wanted to get. Went back the next day with a friend at 11 and got the last ham and cheese croissant, a lemon bar, fruit tart, and a turkey and provolone croissant. All were delicious and tasted fresh and homemade. Good comfort food! May want to go sooner rather than later if you want a particular item.

What an adorable bakery with an amazing staff! Stopped by to get a bite to eat to bring back to work and am so glad I did.

The building is a bit older on the outside but inside, it is clean and charming. There are tables to dine inside or just grab a cup of joe or a bakery item, its a place to relax and enjoy some good food. The aroma of baked goods just draws you in.

The bakery case is very impressive with the wide assortment of baked goods from cakes and cookies to savory pies and pastries and so much more.

I ordered a Sausage Puff and a Spinach Ricotta round I saw so many good reviews on and they were all accurate.

The Sausage Puff is almost like a Kolache but not quite the same, its more of a croissant type dough around a huge tasty sausage, so light and flaky as well as savory and filling. They even offer a side of some yummy deli type mustard to go with it. Yummy....

The Spinach Ricotta round is delectable. The dough is so light, flakey, buttery, fresh, and heavenly. The spinach ricotta filling is perfect, just the right ratio of dough to filling and its creamy with well balanced flavor. Delicious!

This will definitely not be my only visit! I highly recommend this place to any one who likes baked goods. There is soo much the choose from and the staff is wonderful!

This is my favorite bakery. They Serve excellent breakfast and lunch with good coffee. They also have really great pastries created by master bakers. Be sure to check out their wonderful selection of fresh bread loaves.

Blueberry turnover is freakin' amazing. Real blueberries inside, not weird jelly stuff. You're going to love it, promise.
