Pizza fest, was a disorganized event.I was give misinformation via email and phone before the event.Even the Phillies box office knew nothing of the event when I called them.At the event I was told when I asked a question, I don't know I am just working here, THAT WAS AT THE ENTRANCE BY THE TICKET TAKER!!
They changed the date twice on the Philadelphia all star wine and beer festival. Claimed if you sent an email by a certain date you would be refunded. I have sent numerous inquiries with proof that emails were sent on time. Tried through FB messenger as well.
Purchased tickets for the Arlington All-Star Craft Beer, Wine & Cocktail festival on 3/6/20 under a refund policy that stated refund for ticket cost, less ticketing fees would be issued in the instance of an event being delayed, and the subsequent new date does not work . Per web cache/archive (see screencap below)that refund policy was changed in the immediate days surrounding their 3/17 email RE: The AASCBW&C festival event. In one post to their Facebook, ticket holder asks if refund can be issued, they reply yes, and review the initial policy that allowed for refunds. Sometime after they delayed it, they went back and deleted there own comment re: the refund policy, and hid the original posters comments from public view (please see photos). All in an effort to avoid issuing refunds. Upcoming events.com s practices are deceptive, unprofessional, unethical, and disgusting. They hide any comments or negative reviews on their Facebook page, and event page. I filed my first ever complaint with the BBB, and am encouraging others to do the same.
