DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE IN CARDIAC distress!!! They have absolutely no sense of urgency! They did not follow Cardiac distress procedures to get the patient seen immediately! They wanted a patient in AFIB that is recovering from a stroke to wait an hour and thirty minutes plus for an EKG.

Been going here since I was a kid and I think I have bronchitis or pneumonia and they won t let me go in to get checked. I have my vaccines. How will they know and be able to hear my lungs through a zoom call? I love dr. Valdez but because this hospital won t let me go get my lungs checked out in person I m switching doctors/hospitals.
The doctors, nurses, techs were all amazing! They are kind caring and my husband had the best care and most thorough testing of any hospital in the surrounding Albuquerque, Rio Rancho areas.
My Dad, Cornelius van Tonder, recently spent 3 weeks in hospital care at Sandoval.
We want to thank your staff, the doctors, the nurses, the techs, the kitchen staff, everybody, including the lady who cheerfully cleaned the room every day. We have good appreciation for what was done for Dad while he was there. We are grateful for the treatment he received in your hospital.
Will never go here again. Will never recommend anyone else go here. Not worth the wait, the hassle, the money or your mental well being. I went here to find answers to my health and left with more questions than I came in with.
My husband has extreme ankle pain when he walked into the ED. They checked him in and put him in a room. The doctor came in stared him up and down then decided to help him. She said that its not broken and not gout so there was nothing she could do for him. He just needed rest. When he asked about a CT Scan of the tendons she said that was to expensive. Dr. Pruitt was judging my husband based on the way he looked. She kept starring at this tattoo's. Basically told him there is nothing she can do for him. She wouldn't even give him pain meds or even a referral to an ortho. What kind of hospital discharges a patient when they have no medical finding and no testing to find out what is wrong? So disappointed in this hospital, I have always had good luck here until now.
Truly great people and we were in and out in 5 hours which is amazing compared to other ERs which other reviewers may not realize. Thank you for all that you do and for being so kind to us in such a scary situation
Terrible hospital! As long as there are bad nurses there, we need to hold their nurses accountable! It s better to have a shortage of nurses than a plethora of bad nurses! This hospital has many bad nurses!!!!! Do your part as a patient and report them!
I thought this was going to be a great hospital which I got treated great from the start to almost the end. They were supposed to call my brother that was waiting in the car for me and they didn't maybe it's policy to not out of town calls and they told me that they would call me in a day or two to check on me and again no call. I'm from out of town not everyone is from the 505 area code. I am disappointed in that.
Not only was this one of the worst experiences I have had at an emergency room, every time I interact with someone from this place it is not pleasant. One rheumatologist that I saw there was really awesome, but aside from here, I have not had one decent experience with this place. Tried to schedule with a primary physician and the one I tried to schedule with is not accepting new patients. I called to make an appointment for a lump I have found in my breast and apparently Sandoval UNM, which I live right next to, is not scheduling appointment for primary care for anyone, and on top of that the girl I spoke to was extremely rude to me, with no empathy what so ever to my situation, she seemed bothered that I even tried to call to get an appointment. I guess that settles that, I was going to switch all of my doctors to UNM Sandoval, but I guess they don't really want patients there.
