So happy to have found Universal Smiles! Very thorough and friendly dentist & staff. State of the art equipment and probably the best dental experiences I ve ever had!

I have avoided going to the dentist for about 10 years mainly because of fear of the dentist and bad experiences in the past. The staff at Universal Smiles are so kind and caring, Michelle is wonderful and so helpful, I can not sing her praises enough. She has battled with our insurance when they wanted to deny coverage. As someone who has worked in insurance before this is not the norm. She has gone above and beyond to help. I had such anxiety about finally going but the staff put me at ease immediately. They explained everything to me and worked out a plan for me that made physical and financial sense to me. I was lucky enough to get treated by both dentists and they are both wonderful.

Universal Smiles has always given me peaceful and informative appointments. I have been coming to this Dentistry for a few years and have never had a bad experience with anyone. It s definitely a family environment and is perfect for all ages.

They have taken care of me and my wife tremendously! My wife had an emergency and needed to be seen ASAP. My 18 month son was not feeling well that day and was home with her. She had to take him with her to the apt. and they watched him for over 2 hours while she got her teeth fixed and then followed up the next day to ensure she was doing ok. Great service and I highly recommend to ALL.

Universal Smiles always extends a warm welcome when I call or visit. Dr. Griffin is a delight and delivers honest answers to my questions. The location was easy to find and Marie and Britney know how to make me comfortable. I am looking forward to my next visit.

They have treated my entire family for about 4 or 5 years! Everyone is very pleasant and professional! Atmosphere is always inviting and relaxing. I highly recommend them for any of your dental needs!

This dentist office is one of the Best dentist office I have ever been to they are very friendly! kind and quick and does a great job also kid friendly I never like going to a dentist office in my life but coming to this dentist office make it easier for me to go and make it easier for me to bring my kids. I truly appreciated the follow ups before the appointment to confirm. The office communicates well and is very flexible with scheduling needs. I also had the convenient option of checking in online and completing my paperwork online. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and immediately felt family culture. My cleaning was very thorough and it was explained to me in depth. My check up with Dr. Griffin was very personable and comfortable. He was very approachable and conerned about my dental health. Matter of fact, he took it upon himself to walk me out, provide me with a parting gift, and my next appointment. I will be returning to this office. If you are looking for a place where your treatment will be thoroughly explained and you feel at home, schedule your next appointment with this practice.

My family of five have been going to Universal Smiles since we moved to the Cypress area over 3 years ago. Every time we received friendly, prompt service by a knowledgeable and professional staff. We made a great choice to visit and are happy the Griffins are our family's dentists.

I was at my previous dentist for 10 years, however after recent visits it started to feel like my dental hygienist was a salesmen offering me upgrades that I did not want nor need. Coming to Universal Smiles was refreshing. They were friendly and attentive. Great customer service! I will return!

The entire office is a friendly bunch. Michelle is the most friendly and accomodating office manager I have met. My teeth teeth feel nice and clean. Dr. Steib always takes care of me and is thorough with her cleanings! Gabby the assistant/hygienist was very professional amd kind also. I recommend Universal to anyone looking for a dentist in Cypress.

Being a grown man and afraid of the dentist is real thing. I had previously been to 2 other dentist offices very popular and known and was displeased not only with the professionalism but the compassion that was lacked when addressing the comfort of a patient and his fear of dentist.
When I arrived I was properly greeted by who I thought was the receptionist named Brad. To my surprise when it came down to get the work done it turns he was the doctor!! Now in my expreience a person that doesn't put himself over doing paperwork and working reception is golden in my eyes. But besides that him and Sheila I believe was her name had to be the most compassionate people working in dentistry I've ever met, with this alone I can truly say I found a home for my teeth. They didn't mind me being nervous or asking a million questions.
Thank you for that ! The stigma of dentist being mean and scary has no home at Universal Smiles I am certain you will be pleased if you give them a shot.

I have an AMAZING experience every time I visit! All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Dr. Griffin is very thorough and keeps you informed and comfortable every step of the way! I HIGHLY recommend!

Saying Universal Smiles has gone above and beyond for me is almost an understatement. The receptionist, Michelle, makes it easy to call and get answers quick. (Even when you have a MILLION.) She knows the answers to any possible question you have, she is so friendly, and returns calls extremely quick. If you call as many times as I do, they might even recognize your voice and know you by name! Both Dr. Griffins have been so amazing as well. Over the past 3-4 years, I have had the pleasure of both dentists working on my teeth, and both have made it such an enjoyable experience. The dentists keep conversation with you while they work which makes the whole process much less scary, and they work with their patients to make sure they are taking the course of action that is best for them. The whole staff makes you feel at home in their office, and everyone is so friendly. I will never go to another dentist in my life. Universal Smiles has stolen my heart!

I just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Griffin at his office with my two kids today. They were scheduled for a cleaning and he was gentle with both. My youngest had a front tooth that wasn t budging and needed a little help to be removed. He is 7 years old so the thought of getting his tooth pulled was not something he was looking forward to. Dr. Griffin was patient and explained everything he was going to do. He numbed up the area with gel before he administered the shot so my son felt almost nothing. He didn t cry and when it was all over he was so excited to have his tooth for the tooth fairy he forgot all about the shot. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is fearful of the dentist. They are both gentle and so patient with there patients and clear with there explanations.

I chose Universal Smiles after a great phone contact with them and a sky high estimate from another dentist was prohibitive. The staff is professional and very friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. The Dr and assistant couldn't have been more expert in their work. All things considered a 5 star experience in every way. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience! My kids loved the movie waiting area with the bean bags and movie choice. Dr. Griffin also removed the build up that was left from a dentist on Fry Rd. 6 mos. ago.

This was BY FAR the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. I went in for a cleaning and because I'd been experiencing a pain in my jaw. Dr. Griffin took time to talk to me in depth about what might be causing the pain. He carefully explained everything in my X-rays to me in a way that I could understand. He laid out a thorough treatment plan and I look forward to him fixing up my smile! I'm usually TERRIFIED when I'm at the dentist, but his calm and reassuring demeanor left me no choice but to feel calm as well. You can tell he and his staff really care about their patients. I would recommend Universal Smiles to anyone - especially to "scaredy cats" like me.

I switched to Universal Smiles a year ago and have been here twice. The initial reason I picked Universal Smiles is the convenient location from where I live. And now my primary reason for coming here is their friendly staff and the time the doctors willing to spend with me to answer my questions. There is no reason to go anywhere else for me.

OMG!! What can I say...I had the most amazing experience at the dentist. First of all I m really not a big fan of going to the dentist because I believe that the cleaning/procedure/heck everything is going to hurt lol. So I m so nervous when I go. When I first walked in Michelle greeted me with her amazing personality (oh yea I can t forget to mention that she was very helpful on the phone the day before my appointment getting me situated). Once I started getting my teeth cleaned by Dr. Griffin, he really eased my mind and made sure I was comfortable every moment of the cleaning. Dr. Griffin was very gentle and attentive to any sensitive areas I may have had. After my cleaning, I left feeling like we were all family. Such a great atmosphere!! I definitely recommend anyone in the cypress or surrounding areas to come by and join their family

I broke a tooth. They had an opening for the next day. Service was great and they take patients without insurance.

Love everything about this office! The staff, hygienist, and doctor were all extremely nice. I didn t wait long in the waiting room because they took me right on time. I loved that I was able to do all the paperwork beforehand and that they send text message reminders.

I went to Dr. Griffin's office for the first time yesterday. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. Both Dr. Griffin and the hygienist were friendly as well. Dr. Griffin was also very knowledgeable, as his assessment of the condition of my teeth was in line with what my previous dentist in Ohio found. It was a great experience.

We've all had bad dentist experiences in our life. Not anymore! This office is the best experience ever. Dr. Griffin is skilled, has patience with us jumpy patients lol, and does not do unnecessary procedures. I went to Dr. Griffin to get a second opinion on what sounded odd from my prior dentist, and she confirmed the procedure was not needed and would create more work. When I go I literally Netflix and Chill. Go and you'll see what I mean. When I moved to NYC for awhile I would schedule my dental appointments when I was in town. Go!

Dr. Griffin and his staff are so professional yet personal. On my 3rd visit Dr. Griffin asked about my twins which he remembered. They are timely and have the nicest office theme.

I found these dentist to be very honest, which is a huge issue in Houston. Dr. Griffin did a second opinion for my husband, which proved he didn t need thousands of dollars in dental work. All three members of my family see them. Great dentist and staff!

I admit...I dont like going to the dentist, so when my son told me about Dr. Steib, I was leary.....WOW! I am no longer a skeptic! From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left I could not have been more pleased. The atmosphere is relaxing, everyone is professional, and I could not have dreamed of a more gentle, kind Doctor! I have found my life-long dentist!!!! There are not enough stars to give out.

I came in on 4/16/2019 as a new patient and received a teeth cleaning. As a healthcare professional, I require nothing short of the best quality care available. With that being said, I underwent the most prodigious treatment from Dr. Erin Griffin. She was remarkably impressive with her extensive knowledge on dental care, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and we made great conversation throughout the process. From the moment you walk into Universal Smiles, you can feel that it is a family environment. The office is polished, and decorated beautiful. The staff was very professional and offers a sense of comfort, which makes the service of Universal Smiles all around an A+. I have been to many dentists throughout The Greater Houston area and by far the aspect of this company takes the cake at being the top tier in all categories of speed, service, quality of care, and cost. Universal Smiles offers the ability to watch movies and listen to music while you are in the chair. They even give out an aesthetically pleasing goodie bag filled dental treats :-) I would highly recommend going to Universal Smiles for all of your dental needs. If you are looking for an office that is ethical , and will treat you with respect then look no further. The office is very clean and they have implemented new procedures, to keep patients protected during the Covid19 pandemic.
They have also invested in new equipment and training, to keep patients and staff safe with the recent developments of Covid19.

Dr. Griffin and Dr. Steib are masters of their craft and will not steer you wrong. They produce impeccable work, and your teeth will thank you for having them work on them. They are genuine people and care about their patients and staff.

They are gentle so if you have a fear of going to the dentist, you need to put your fears aside and come and visit them. You will have an out this world experience.

At this office you will not have to worry about them, telling you that your mouth needs something that you don't. The office is up to date with the latest technology and is very clean.

The office manager is named Mrs. King and she is wonderful. She is the first person you will meet upon coming inside. Not only is she the office manager she is also registered dental assistant. So she wears two hats and excels at both of them. Your mouth is in good hands, and your worries you can leave behind at your house.

They also have another dental assistant named Kimberly and she is very nice as well. She is very good while getting you ready before you see the hygienist and doctors.

As you read this how many of y'all have had your teeth cleaned and it was very unpleasant? Well the hygienist here rocks and your mouth will be in heaven. She is the gentlest hygienist I have even come across. If you have had bad experiences with having your teeth cleaned at other offices, you will not be disappointed by having Sheila clean your teeth.

Your mouth and teeth will thank you for coming in and seeing the fine staff here at Universal Smiles. They excell at everything from customer service to the finished product you receive in the end.

My visit today was awesome as usual. I always feel at home when I enter in the front door. The entire staff always make me feel as if they have known me all my life. The Receptionist is awesome. They couldn't have picked a better one. Wish I could see them every month instead of every 6 months. When I do have kids they will be going to see Dr. Griffin.

Dr. Griffin at Universal Smiles was attentive and professional. I don't usually enjoy any dental visit, but Dr. griffin and Britney were aware of that and could not have made me more comfortable and PAIN FREE. I was very impressed with the entire operation and I have finally found a dentist I can use for all my dental needs!

I had some dental work done at this awesome practice ! From the opening of the door to walk in and opening the door to walk out, my visit was truly great ! I had crown work done and actually fell asleep in the chair while the work was being done... one is comfortable in their chairs believe me ! Wonderful dentists!! Gentle, fast, and conservative. Office staff is exceotional. My son gags easily and is very sensative to pain and being uncomfortable. He lives comi g here and has asked we never go any place else. Easy 5 stars!!

Coming from a Dentist-phobic this is the best place to go! The staff and both dentists (they re actually a really cute married couple) are SO incredibly kind and patient and their dental work is gentle but top quality! The first time I haven t had to use laughing gas just to bare a tooth filling. I now live in a different city but still making yearly appointments for whenever I come to town to visit family because finding and keeping a good dentist for me is worth it! They re also really great about getting you an appointment fast. Front desk woman is incredibly sweet! No complaints!
