they added detention on the rate that we deserved and then once load was paid, somehow the "customer" did not pay detention. this company will not pay detention and if you contact them you will be getting transferred all day long to different agents with no one helping. very poor service and communication.

I love working for Universal! Management treats me with respect and I feel valued as a Universal team member. It's a great place to work!

Company double brokered a load to us and could NOT get a hold of dispatcher.

original broker who brokered this has not been in contact with us sense we were awarded detention and now after detention was added and everything was paid, miraculously the detention was not paid. terrible professionalism

So I applied for a corporate position last June and didn't get it. OK, no problem. I get an email (through indeed) from their Sr director of human resources, Ryan Heath, saying he has a position very much like the last one and wanted to know if I was interested. I'm thinking maybe they went through old resumes/applications or whatever. I submit my resume, and within a day get turn down again. Not even a thanks but no thanks email, just "not selected" from indeed. What kind of mickey mouse outfit is this?

They want to dictate want they want to pay for truck ordered not used. Lets say we went into business to make money and work for our self's. Who gave them the right to tell a business owner how to run his business. How would they like if I tell them how to run their business. They are the reason why most of these brokers have a bad reputation.
