I have been a foster parent with UPC for the past 10 years and I am truly thankful to have one of the most supportive caseworker (B.W.) that has always had my children best interest at heart. Last year two of my former foster sons were returned home to their mom and I am honored to have had the opportunity to be apart of team to help support her babies and her as she worked on and accomplished her goals. As a former youth in care (ward of the state) I truly understand and know first hand the importance of having the appropriate supports in place for the children and in care and their families to help them get to their end goal!

I love working for this agency. The director and CEO work very well with their employees and they care about the safety and welfare of the children that we service.
The agency promotes from within and it is a family like atmosphere. The administration as well as the staff are well versed in providing accurate services for the family and are committed to ensuring the safety of the children at all times.
I would recommend this agency to foster parents as well as child welfare workers looking for employment

Poor customer satisfaction. Very biased & unprofessional!

Disgusted with the time it takes to get help from a case worker, good luck trying to get in touch with a supervisor, and don't get me started with the way men are treated by what looks like a all woman staff..

I have never had a problem with the agency we have had some great caseworkers who have help with any needs we might have had,they responded in a timely matter to help with issues and service we might have needed.the supervisors we have met have been very friendly and helped with any additional questions we might have had.

Very professional leadership that puts it's staff in a position to succeed. Good training, great communication with regards to expectations.

it had only been a year that I been dealing with unity parenting and my son had been getting abused in almost every home they have sent him to unity parenting done not check up on the children to make sure they are safe and never have enough stuff for visiting days I have work with 9 different caseworkers in the last year the supervisor IS VERY RUDE WITH A VERY NASTY attitude SHE NEVER CONTENT ME BACK concerning any of the issues im having like( racial issues) from their workers or workers stereotyping each parent to be the same and something most be done

These people, at the Cermak location, are incompetent, lazy and loves to lie in court. They don't like to return kids to mothers that are black but are quick to return kids to white mothers. My daughter had to find her own classes because the social worker didn't like her. Beware if you deal with these people, Andrea Hall, Nicely Guy, Lori Rodriguez and Deanna Reed.

Very professional! Really help you and take care of you in making sure that you and your children are reunited. Love them. I made another family.

Unity is an amazing place of growth and opportunity! I ve worked here for the last 4 years, starting as a clinician and was promoted to Housing Director shortly after. With efficient supervision and the support of my awesome team, our housing programs have grown, even during the pandemic. I wouldn t trade my experience here for anything. It s a joy to work with such dedicated staff to impact the lives of our participants.
