Best fish n' chips in the middle of a desert. Having grown up in Michigan, the fish from The Crooked Putter would hold its weight to the fish back home. There is some seating on the inside but find a table outside to be in the fresh air. Wait in line and order your food and drinks and then sit down. On the fish fry nights, it's all you can eat and there are plenty of staff to ask for more fish. We've been here three or four times and it's turned into an annual event while we are down here on Spring Break.

Everytime we have gone there, Wednesday's and Friday's for the all you can eat fish fry, the place is packed...and with good reason. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and fast and goes above and beyond to make the experience there, one that keeps us coming back for more. Everything homemade; coleslaw, tartar sauce, BEST FISH FRY !!!

The last time I was there was before the closure 2 months ago. At that time the service was absolutely terrible and the fish was not what we were accustomed to. Been going for some time for fish fry. Returning last Friday to try and help local business but had the same terrible service and I was told by some other customers their service was also bad and that they thought the waitress was one of the owners. Bad service once, excused, twice, don t go back.

LOVE the fish fry! Just like back home in Wisconsin, which is saying something. They also have an incredible burger for lunch at really good prices. We ordered the nachos and had enough to share among four people and still had plenty to spare! Really, really large portion! We haven't tried breakfast here yet, but hope to have that rectified very soon!

Have had a number of excellent breakfasts, by a very personable waitress. During the summer we go with decent sized group, but are well accomodated along with their normal customers from the Grandview Golf Course.

Very friendly, great fish fry and lots of friendly people. It has outside seating as well as in doors. The out side seating has a fabulous view of the golf course. They also have lots of choice for breakfast as well.

While the service was mediocre the food was even worse. I don't think it's too much to ask for when I say I'd like to eat my omelet, not drink it. The hashbrowns were barely cooked and tasted like they had no seasoning and had come straight from the freezer (whether or not that's how they do hashbrowns, I don't know, but that's what it tasted like). No amount of salt and pepper could save them. My toast was soggy and could hardly be considered toast at all.
Our waitress was especially awful. She didn't listen to a word we said. We asked for tea for two of the people in our party. She brought us all coffee. She was asked for hot water for tea and literally brought a cup of hot water. No tea. Just hot water. She rarely checked on us making it difficult to get refills for coffee. We had to get up and go ask for our own waters because she was nowhere to be found. When she did check on us, it seemed like she couldn't get away from us fast enough. I ordered my food and then had a question, but by the time I looked up she was gone. I never got to ask my question.
The only good thing about this breakfast was the coffee and the people I came with.

The food served to me at this place was the most amazing food I ever had. The food came under very affordable price and it was very good and I became a fan of this place since I went to this place. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Friday is the day to go for fresh fish from Alaska..flown in daily. It is so good!! Get there early as tables fill up fast. Most of the seating is outside undercover; however a few seatings available inside. Bring your appetite for a great meal. Some spirits available. Excellent fish and chips...all you can eat. Enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful weather.
