Good hospital, took really good care of my grandma. Only complaint I have is y'all's chairs please for the love of sweet Jesus get some new bigger recliners for when you got people staying the night. I'm a big dude I can't get comfortable and jiggy with ya small tiny chairs. Other than that great place!

Our family recently experienced an unthinkable tragedy with the loss of a loved one who was hospitalized at United Regional. The doctors were tactful and straightforward. The CCU staff was exceptional - informative, knowledgeable and compassionate. The level of care and comfort was commendable.

HORRIBLE HOSPITAL nursing staff.

HORRIBLE HOSPITAL nursing staff.
I was there bc I passed out hitting my head.
After 1 day passed, I asked to go home bc they weren t doing anything there.
Nurse said they were monitoring me.
I had not 1 nurse check in me since breakfast any it s now 5:00.
I asked how they were monitoring me.
He stated that I had several monitors being watched and one was in my pocket.
I had zero monitors going and zero monitors in my pocket.
He then grabbed a clipboard, raced to my room and hooked me up.
Next day, 5:00-no water all day.
Nurse said I should have requested water.
It scars me to think that this hospital is where I must go unless I leave town.
Mrs Cowling needs to be fired.

After my visit to the ER, the woman discharging me told me the charges for the visit. I told her that I wanted to pay it in full; she said that's fine and gave me the total. I wrote the hospital a check and was then told that the hospital was now paid in full. I have not been in the hospital in over twenty years and never in this hospital. I didn't know that they don't fully calculate the charges until later and that I would be getting another bill later. I'm not angry about the second bill, but that the clerk flat out lied to me, telling me that I was done. Do yourselves a favor and go to Kell West.

I was just recently at United Regional to deliver ...

I was just recently at United Regional to deliver my son via induction. The day started early at 0430 and we went up to labor and delivery. We were greeted by the sweetest nurses on duty and assisted into our room. The facility was clean, the nurses and staff were professional, and my experience was one I will never forget!!! There are a select few members I would like to highlight just based off of the awesome job they did with me during my labor and the recovery with my baby! First off, I would like to thank Laken for helping me labor for almost 10 hours. She was so sweet and caring, ensuring I had anything I needed and she had such an awesome personality. Next, Marissa was a hugeeeee help in my delivery and her coaching skills for laboring mom were very helpful and allowed me to deliver my son the way I intended. After our stay in labor and delivery, we went to the mother and baby unit where we were cared for by even more of the sweetest nurses ever. When they say the 4th floor is the happiest place on earth, they are right. I d like to highlight Shawna in the mother and baby unit. She took care of me, my baby boy, and even my sweet husband who was cranky due to lack of sleep. We are so grateful to have had her as our night nurse as she made sure baby and momma were taken care of and treated us so well. It s been a long few days after leaving the hospital so I apologize for not mentioning all of the nurses names that I had intended for this review they were ALL amazing and I have great things to say about ALL of them!!! I am so happy for my experience as I was so nervous prior to showing up there on induction day. Everything went so well and through it all my nerves subsided with the help of the awesome team I had. Thank you United Regional for employing such happy, friendly, and helpful faces. Your staff is amazing and caring! I recommend United Regional to the highest extent!!!!

Dear United I am a former employee of urhcs and have recently been a recipient of the services you provide for our community. First 2 weeks ago for the delivery of my grand baby that was from a very high risk pregnancy. My daughter delivered a baby that appeared to be healthy and seemingly ok but quickly deteriorated to a very sick newborn in a crisis! Cudis to the entire team that listened to this mother who knew her baby was at high risk and to the providers that listen and took extra care of her intuition and were on point fir his care! Cudis to Dr Harvey, Dr. Bedford , and Dr. sultemeier! My sweet grand baby was immediately taken care of and shipped via helicopter to Cooks children s hospital in Ft. Wortg! The precious nurse whose name I do not know met me at the heliport and introduced me to my grand baby and said Raylan your lulu is here to see you! I was immediately grateful and calmed by her thoughtfulness and demeanor to give me a positive feeling about his transport! All the nurses were awesome to us in this incredibly difficult situation! Soon after my husband had a terrible fall and had to go to the emergency room at urhcs with bilateral fractures of both shoulders! We were net in cared for in the fastest most friendly and compassionate emergency crew!! It was quick and the nurses and staff were all kind, compassionate efficient to meet all our needs! Thank you to all! Eli in particulate! We had to have emergency surgery by alll my friends from surgery including again Dr Harvey , Dr. Godwin, Rick Lebow ,CRNA ,Lisa.Reilly and the awesome OR crew! Thank you fir your devotion to helping make a horrible trauma a pisitive experience. The nurses in 4 that care for the orthopedic patients ore sbd post op could not have been more caring and thoughtful of our difficult time! Kudos to Travis and Caitlin!! Again thank you all so much for your kindness and compassion and for a community we vmcab feel safe to receive health care from . Sincerely, Laurie proctor!

I had neck surgery on 6/11/18. Immediately after waking up from surgery my hands were no longer numb. The burning in my back and legs after 4 days decreased by 80%. Dr. Provenza and his staff are very professional and extremely caring. The hospital nurses, techs and cafeteria staff are awesome. They treat you with respect and as if you were family. The hospital was extremely clean and all staff I dealt with were just amazing nice people. Yall are a great example of how a A TEAM work's! Thanks again and I recommend this hospital to everyone.

Don't believe the other glowing reviews , they are probably from employees! If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst ER I've ever seen. Absolutely worst excuse for service. Rude, uncooperative, left a concussed boy sitting in a chair for over 6 and 1/2 hours. Never offered even a blanket, a pillow, pain medication, or anything! When I asked for a blanket, they told me I could turn the thermostat down myself. Nurses either ignored us or were rude. The Dr was nowhere to be found, even the nurse kept saying there was no Dr . When he finally showed up, he was rude and brushed us off with - sometimes things just happen. Well I'll tell you what won't be happening again - anyone I know ever using this hospital! The Dr. said my son did not have a concussion and did nothing for us, but the information the hospital sent our Dr. stated quite the opposite. So after 7 hours , we got NO treatment for a confirmed concussion. They should be thankful we had no serious consequences from it. If you value your family's health, PLEASE, go elsewhere where they have a clue.

I took my girlfriend to the ER to you get her left ankle examined after taking x-rays they discovered that she had oblique and acute fractures of the weight baring and non weight baring bones in the leg and a broken ankle. Shortly after discovering she had no medical insurance their demeanor towards her and her treatment became non existent. Not even medication was administered and no IV fluids were given. The nurse practitioner was very adamant about how serious the injury was. They put a hard splint on her quickly and discharged her without a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. Her discharge summary wasn't even accurate, it seemed like they just wrote down what was within normal parameters and not what they actually were. Something needs to be done, they are going to kill somebody if this continues. If they haven't already.

We'r have been here for 5 hours and have not even seen a doctor. We were asked how we would like to pay though. Discussing treatment by all involved. We have not been tested like people sense we walked in the door. If we had another option we would take it.

My mom was transferred here from West Texas where there was not a GI doctor available. Everyone at this hospital went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of and comfortable. The nurses are amazing as well as the tech's who were constantly there to help my mom go to the restroom. (fall risk)

PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A HOSPITAL. My dad came in with an injury to his knee that is swollen. Mind you he s 66 years old, heart patient, in kidney failure and can barley walk.. was turned away because they couldn t help him. They made him WALK out of the hospital. He got so winded by the time he made it back to the er lobby, HE FELL DOWN! My mom has to yell for someone to come help because nobody was even there. Instead of making sure he was okay the security guard helped him to the car. I wouldn t take my dying dog to this hospital!

I wish there was a way to give this Hospital a 0 star. Personally the Drs, nurses, PCA... and so on are full of good people...but this hospital has a CEO and other administrative people who do not care for patients, they only care for the dollar. They should have continued with the Residency Program. Just like the CHC, which is trash and will not be able to handle the flow of patients. And to replace with only PA s and not have people who have higher education will cause this town to only receive mediocre care.

Quick preface: I am NOT an employee at the hospital. It was actually my first time. My husband was transferred to TX about three weeks ago and we are totally new here.

Such quick and friendly service. The ER is never a happy or easy place to be. We were checked in by Carol, was so kind and helpful. She even took her time to introduce herself to those waiting and let us know that she was there to help us with anything we needed. She definitely made us feel at ease and taken care of. Carol is a true asset to the hospital.

The care I received was quick and effective. The hospital staff were all friendly and very helpful. The facility was clean and comfortable (even with a kidney stone ). The doctor who treated me was compassionate and quick to take care of me. By far, the best ER experience my husband and I have ever had. Thank you for having enough people on staff and for staffing friendly, empathetic and caring professionals.
