Amazing experience and a wonderful place to bring the family and friends visiting the US who are into politics. Cafe has a good selection of food with decent prices, but I recommend eating out somewhere else. The facility indoors were recently renovated as well as the garden outside which overlooks the Hudson River. Over all it was fun.

We had not booked a visit so we were confined to the main hall at the entrance, too bad for us. That said, it's a touching moment, however, to be where the decisions of the world are made. To do!

Visiting the United Nations in New York is a different experience than we found there. I bought the tour in English and we joined a group of about 10 people. The tour takes 1h and the person in charge was very friendly with everyone. We have been through several halls and know many details of the UN's efforts to alleviate various world problems. We had the opportunity to enter conference rooms, including one that was having a meeting. It is a very informative tour and great for those who like.

This place is a disgrace to mankind. The customer service was horrible, and the food was undivine. That's right. UN-divine. The food was so bad that I went home and ate cat food as a pallet cleanser. For $16 dollars I can go to Mc Donalds and have a tour of my own house instead of the UN building.

I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your fees$ 20 . Guides didn't give enough time in main spots as general assembly hall and security council. Giving unnecessary info during the tour.. Secured.. if you cannot go into the main two halls it's gonna be worthless.

It was a very interesting and educational tour, especially standing in the General Assembly and Security Council rooms. Security was courteous and the souvenir shop had very interesting items. This is a must do tour.

United Nations Headquarter located in Manhattan on the East River bank.
One of the most interesting architectural place in New York City, designed by the famous French architect Le Corbusier.
It's a really huge complex built for the diplomats from all the world.
It's also available for sightseeing for the touristic groups.

Missing information, wait in a queue to tell you that you have to go somewhere else to make a pass. Also without a paid guided tour you have access only to the ground floor where there is nothing essential but only some photos.day exterior view to the river

Please . This is a very important message. I don't know if I chose the contact where I should write well. Please, whoever receives it, I ask the favor to forward it to the UN Secretary General, Mr. Antonio Guterres. Thank you

"Dear Mr. Guterres, I wish you the best success in your new position but I also need to communicate with you in a more direct way. For many years we have investigated our relationship with the islanders and we have a lot of information that we believe may be very valuable.

We appreciate your attention and greet you very cordially. "

First of all, I have to say, the UN building itself is majestic and grand. If you are visiting NYC, and you do not check UN out, you are doing it wrong.

Before you enter UN, you have to go to visitor check-in office to obtain a visitor pass, which is located in opposite the street. Staffs will check your ID, ask you have you ever been to UN before and take a quick photo of you, finally, hand a visitor pass to you. Make sure visitor pass was pasted on visible place of you (like arm or chest) before you enter UN.

If you want to know UN better, you can book your tour in advance on UN website, or hit up the tour desk which is in the end of lobby, but it would be better, if you prior check tour timetable online, especially foreign language tour. Independent visitors are only allowed to gift shop, post office, book store, cafeteria, lobby and outdoor square.

There is a photo ops on first floor, which captured you are signing agreement. Cafeteria, post office, shops in the basement. There is a stamp desk next to post office, you can get one UN stamp on your passport or whatever for free as a keepsake. There are so many delicate craftwork from different country in gift shop.

Interesting building with rich history. Access free after extensive security check. Tour of building is only possible against payment, otherwise no view on the inside. Inside a small restaurant and gift shop. Outside a small image thumb. ao. from Luxembourg.

You can enter inside for free, but if you want to tour the conference hall, you need to make a reservation and purchase a ticket in advance. Security Council meeting place. Conference on Economic and Social Councils. After visiting the conference hall, etc.

Home of Satan, the new world order, and a black hole that eats our taxes. Where decisions are made such as "It's a hate crime to criticise illegal immigration". A truly abhorrent decadent pit which defines the term irredeemable.

I don't like it.

The guided tour is very cool, but it s nice to do some research beforehand to be able to ask questions to the monitor and explore the visit better. The shop in the basement is very cool, enjoy the works of art in the outdoor patio

Definitely recommend anyone to get involved with the UN however they can. We can all make a big impact on the world if we work together. Check out and learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Great for seeing and taking pictures of iconic places you always see on the news (if you do the guided tour which we booked a week in advance). Not that great at really imparting much historical information.
