EDIT: The never fixed any of the previous problems, and in the last few months, it's gotten SO much worse. I know it's not because they're busy, because bars aren't ordering nearly as much and brewers aren't distributing nearly as much. It has been 3 months since we received an order, despite them saying the product is in stock. They constantly miss delivery dates, or bring partial orders but take the check for the full amount and then claim we don't have a credit. Insanely disorganized, unreliable and impossible to deal with company. If they were our distributor, we'd have fired them ages ago. Absolutely pathetic.
Previous 5 star review: I manage a brewery that uses Breakthru for wines & spirits, and I will say I ve had some issues with them. Orders have been late, items forgotten, and even delivered to the wrong place. However, every time I ve called to complain, customer service has been excellent and the issue has always been resolved- usually in the same day.
Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, the Division Manager himself delivered the missing items of my order and stuck around at the bar, ensuring me that these issues would be resolved going forward. I also got a call from the Director of Ops apologizing. Having dealt with numerous other companies who lack any form of customer service, I can say that Breakthru Beverage has gone above & beyond to ensure issues are resolved and their customers are taken care of. I also chatted with an employee who seemed happy with his job, so I imagine they treat employees well. He talked about several perks. I feel confident that the issues I ve dealt with are temporary, as I heard much talk about upcoming changes.
