Horrid Leadership. insulting and condescending to employees.

My busy husband tells me weekly about this company calling and bothering him. He has repeatedly told them to stop calling. Sometimes 3 calls in a day different reps. They want to assist in making his business better and more profitable. He is too busy making it all that himself and these pushy, bothersome calls just interrupt. I decided to look into it. Trust the one-star reviews. I bet most the higher star reviewers are some of their call reps and or other employees boosting the rating. Check out their bbb report. It is A+ but only because they answered every complaint. Go figure, all of them ARE complaints and same line as these here.

I used SMS a few years ago when I was with a different company and I knew they would be a good fit for some work we needed done. We were in the process of buying out one of the original owners and we needed help with some of the paperwork and to structure the deal. Thankfully I was able to give SMS a call and they were able to be on-site within a few days. I can't really go into the exact nature of the engagement but we were more than satisfied with the results and I would have no problems using them again in the future.

Awful place. Stay away lies and lies and sketchy ass people that do dtugs on breaks. Fake consultants more like con artist.

It's such a nice place to increase sales productivity and thus the profit. I personally felt the Bert be a professional and who help us to execute the project well in a mannered way.

I was first contacted by one of their sales rep who claimed I was refereed to them by a mutual business contact. I was pretty hesitant but glad I ended up following up with them. Most of the advice and training they provided seemed like common sense but once it all came together it kind of clicked. Only reason for the 4 star was the inbound sales call that kicked the relationship off.

This company is a total scam. A pushy sales rep showed up one day to offer their services. Unfortunately for us, we were in a bad time with our company right then and were gullible enough to listen to him. That led to 2 of their people showing up for 2 days to go through all our books. After spending $50,000 with them, we got nothing more than a business valuation that I question the value of. They did set up several holding companies, etc., for us, but never helped finish closing everything. Shortly afterwards, we switched to a new CPA / Financial Advisor that has been wonderful! Please learn from our expensive mistake and stay as far away from these folks as possible!

Non-stop harassment calls. Will not listen to what you are saying. Will not take you off their list. Constantly talk down to you. Bunch of non-closing idiots.

They don't stop calling and had even had rep show up at 830am at our door without invitation. I've told them multiple times over the phone that WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR SERVICES but I still keep getting calls. NO means NO, stop insisting, we do not need your help or services.

sms has been trying to get me to hire them for the last couple of years. after seeing declining revenue for the 8th straight month I decided to take a shot and see what they could do. They had two people come into my office and really dig in to the inner workings of my company. They also had me complete a few exercises with the goal of figuring out what the real mission for my company going forward should be. it was not cheap but after looking around they seem to be on par with what other consulting companies are charging. the help they provided in helping me secure a new line of credit was worth the total cost alone.

The consultant that was assigned to my project was very knowledgeable and helpful. The project took a couple of more weeks than originally quoted but it was all in all a good decision on my part.

The consultant that was sent over had an impressive understanding of our business and industry. He was able to navigate our problems in such a way that it was easy for us to understand how we had been failing so hard. I was very clear about a specific deadline that we had to meet for our sales and hired SMS to help us reach that goal in ample time. SMS worked with my staff diligently and in turn we hit that deadline. They adhered to our mission and branding and came up with creative strategies that made sense to my team.

The lead generation procedure of SMS NA team helped me a lot to achieve the target that I had set for the desired sales. They guide us thoroughly with professional skills.

before even starting work, they sat down with me and took the time to get to know me and my business. The plan they provided which was basically a step by step guide on how to help organize and streamline my business was a huge success. I ended up having them come back a couple of weeks later to help with some additional problem areas.

Very unprofessional staffs, unorganized business running model, false hiring ad on Indeed. The service they provide to the customers is very ambiguous and they will lie to them. Please trust me, stay away from this company, otherwise you will regret and it's just a waste of your time.

Delivered the agreed upon services both on time and on budget. Had a couple of minor hiccups at the start but it was all worked out in the first few days. They ended up sending an extra person to help complete the agreed upon tasks we had outlined in the initial agreement.

Good experience did exactly what they promised. I would definitely use them again in the future. Thanks to them we have finally gotten our quickbooks setup the right way.

!!!!SCAM!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could! Do not even allow them to come in and "Drop papers off". SMS called and said they wanted to drop off papers introducing their business and wouldn't not stay. When the time came to "drop off papers" he was shocked when I said I didn't have time for him because I was told he was dropping off papers and leaving and he said no he needs just a few mins of my time to talk. I reluctantly said ok. After his "talk" he was EXTREMELY pushy to get me to sign up for their $1300 analyst survey. After a bunch of no's they lowered the price to $500 and I stupidly said ok thinking they would help me figure out ways to market my business better. He said the survey would only take 1 hr at most and then I would get my results on what they think I should do. The analyst from Global Resources, LLC came the next day for the survey. Upon arriving he said he would be here for about 3 days. I told him they said it would only be 1 hr and he also looked very shocked and said absolutely not. So here I am being lied to once again. 2 1/2 days later the survey is finished. They refused to give me any documents printed out for my result and would only go over it with me on their computer. They wanted me to sign a contract agreeing to $27,000 for them to do all the things for me that they said they could help improve in their slide show. Once again giving me no details, no printouts, no guarantee and wanted me to just trust their word! PSSHH! I literally had to threaten calling the cops to make them leave because they just wouldn't take no for an answer. They honestly do not care about your business! They only care about scamming more and more money from you!

Worked here for the last couple of years and enjoyed my time. Had an issue with one coworker last year and they handled it quickly and transparently.

Worked there a few weeks then they never sent me my check. They didn t wanna pay me they re the worst company you could ever work for.

*SCAM* Do not let them come to your office to even "drop off a business card and shake your hand"! They will harass you until you have no choice but to threaten to call the police just to make them leave! Absolutely absurd!

The caller asked me if we provide a certain service, I said no not at this moment. He then said that he would have a salesman in the area and if he could leave his card. At that point I got suspicious, I told him that I had it up to my eyeballs with people calling and trying to sell me something and if he was selling something, I'm not interested. He said he wasn't and insisted the person would be dropping off a business card and shaking my hand. I said if this guy is only dropping off a business card and shaking my hand, he could stop by. BIG MISTAKE! The salesperson stopped in to sell me on there business consulting. I told him numerous times that I was happy with my current business consultant and he was wasting his time. 35 - 40 minutes later I finally got this guy to leave. This company may be good for some people, but I don't have time for solicitations. If I need something I will CALL YOU!

Outstanding services, I got several appointments from the top-business that automatically result in increasing the sales productivity of our business. Their way of attending customers is quite impressive as they respond quickly, irrespective of the time period.

Very questionable business practices. They were very high pressure...very high cost. The pushy salesman tried to sell me on things he knew nothing about.

Company isn't a scam, they do a lot of cold calls though. Although they offer some very real benefits. They cut my companies taxes 40% ! Cleared out our overhead and planned my finances a year in advance!

If you want to work with professionals and not waste a ton of time these guys are a good choice. Their consultant were able to help with a few issues we were having with our accounting process.I recommend their team if you are having QB issues like we were..

I have come to find running a small business is not always easy. As a single parent, I wanted to make sure I had everything in place to properly expand. SMS helped me with that. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and how helpful they were with my many questions. I am now confident that I can both expand my company and still keep costs down!

Amazing place to work, the co-workers were welcoming. As a previous statement before they do not make you change your name.... nor ask you to. They ve been sponsored by Mark Cuban. This company helped me get back on my feet when I had no job or money to pay for rent. SMS truly cares about their clients on a professional level as well personal.

Ran into an issue with our processing manager leaving to another company and we needed someone to figure out what was going on with our Quickbooks POS system. We wanted someone who could physically come in and train multiple people so this issue never comes up again. Found SMS after we spent a few days searching and calling around. They were able to send someone over pretty quickly and we were back in business. Not the cheapest place but the fact they were able to send someone right away and the gentleman was able to not only fix our issues but train three of our employees was huge. Thanks gain guys.

Would give negative stars if I could. Today is March 25, 2020 and the country is working through a pandemic cause by a communicable virus. An SMS sales rep comes into my office (we are open since we are Essential Critical Employees) and starts talking to me about how he knows someone called and made an appointment for him yesterday.

I cut him off and told him I had no idea who he was, who the lady he claims called was, and asked him why in the world he would be out in times like these. I asked him to leave and never step foot in my office again.

I just don't understand how in the HELL a company could be so irresponsible right now.

After a bit of back and forth on what would actually be in the project and pricing. Terms were agreed on what I feel like was fair pricing. The engagement itself went smoothly and I fellt like we really got decent value for our contract. Especially impressive were the blood wall exercises.

One of the better experiences we have had with a business services company. We were in need of some help with our quick books POS system and a friend suggested we give them a call. Ended up being a wise choice as they were able to help us with our issues and even solved an unrelated QB issue that had not even come up yet.

Last week has been a learning experience working with our consultant Lawrence. Not the cheapest company but you get what you pay for. I might end up updating in a few months with a higher score if the changes make the promised impact on our bottom line.

Professional group of consultants who were able to help us when we needed it the most. We had originally agreed to have them on site for a couple of weeks but due to the current health crisis we had to move everything to zoom and other video conferencing apps. They did not miss a beat and were still able to help us sort out some of our biggest issues.

SCAM!!!! Do not agree to even let them in your office!!

I can't believe this company is that disrespectful that they will not stop calling even when you tell them to stop. Then they just show up for an appointment that they never made. Stay away from this company!!!!!!! They can not even tell you what they do!!!!!

Sad I have to put 1 star. This company is lower than pond scum. Will not stop calling to the point that it would be considered harassment. They will not take no for an answer and try every sleazy trick in the book to get in the door. Kicked sales rep out of office for showing up after being told no and still I get phone calls.

SMS came in during one of our worst financial quarters in the last 5 years. We need help cleaning up our financials so we could apply for help to weather the current crisis. They had no issues working with our team remotely so we could safely get all our ducks in a row. I feel much better now that we are able to apply for the help we so desperately need.

Worst place to work. Calling poor clients (victims)and offering them special advice and help from be trained professionals on how the clients can be more profitable...You only succeed as an employee if you are a complete d-wad with no regard for anyone but yourself.
If you are a company and choose to use their services, you will likely go bankrupt and out of business. The only reason places like this call their victims is to line their own pockets. They don't care about the people they are soliciting.
Any company that has had to rebrand as many times as this company has.... Well that tells you something.
Oh, also, they don't let you use your real name in the call center. Especially if it sounds too ethnic. This, however is a plus, because had I made any sales, I wouldn't want the victim to look me up....

I along with my brother just took over the family business and we desperately needed someone to come in and help us get everything in order. We have used SMS in the past with a prior company we ran and we knew they were the best fit. They were able to come in and help us make sense of the last few years and why we were losing so much money. If I am honest I don't think we would still be open if it was not for SMS and that goes double because of the current state of things in the economy.

sales man walked in office this morning during a pandemic. said he had a appointment with me. which he did not. I told him I was not interested several times and he just kept saying that he wanted to sit down and chat about it. this is the second time they have done this to me.

I worked here 2018 till right before last xmas. Enjoyed everybody I worked with and can't say a bad thing about management as they were a fair group when it came to compensation and overall treatment. I spent most of the day on the phone and the time seemed to pass quick. I left because I did not feel like I had much of a chance at moving up.

Usually we use online courses for continuing ed with Quick-books. After come less than desirable results last time we decided to have someone on-site. The tech that SMS sent over was really good at explaining all the processes between our Quickbooks install and our QB point of sale computer. This was a sore point for us last year but after a couple of weeks we were all set. They even left us with some docs for training and answered the phone for a couple of follow up questions we had. Worth the extra money having someone on-site.

I worked with SMS on a couple of projects. It was an experience. They spent a good deal of time working with me as an owner and focusing on my team to create the best results overall. They held several workshops with detailed Power Points presentations and a plan of action that stated a clear vision for everyone to follow. They seem to have high standards when it comes to their creative work. I learned a lot engaging with them. They exceeded our expectations.

When you are working sms you are working with someone who cares. They focused on getting the best results and doing things the right way, no matter how long it took. I was impressed by their dedication and attention to detail and how my employees responded to working with them. They were very engaging and I am satisfied with how everything turned out.

They call and schedule visits under false pretenses, harass you by calling several times a month, will not remove you from their list no matter how many times you request, almost impossible to get rid of them once they are at your facility, stay away at all costs.

I got yet another call from this company today after telling them to take my company off their lead list at least a half dozen times. As far as I can tell the company is a scam. They've come back claiming to be subsidiaries with equally obscure 3 initial names (ROI-NA, IPA, ABS, GPS.) It's only after I put up with several minutes of circular conversations trying to understand if they are a potential customer or someone trying to be a supplier before I finally determine it is the same damned company trying to sell uninformed advice to fools.

positive experience all around. their analytical approach turned out being a good fit for our business since it showed numerous weaknesses in how we were going about even mundane tasks internally. some of the agreed upon changes will not be easy to implement since it means shuffling of some staff and some hard choices on personnel going forward.

I am really disappointed with the declining profit, but SMS help is bound to improve the condition of the business by the way of lead generation between the right marketers.

Company genuinely believes in their services and the people that keep the machine well oiled. They have been in business for this long because they bring lots to the table for struggling business owners or owners looking to get more out of their company. I wish my father would've known about them 25 years ago. They could've truly changed the game for him and potentially kept his construction business afloat.

I would really appreciate SMS NA team who brought my company to the desired height of productivity, thus help me to enjoy a lot of profit and build a chain of customers.

Honest and trustworthy partner. We dealt with a few representatives from their company over the course of the last couple of months. They answered every question we had in a transparent and upfront way while always taking the time to explain every step of the process. Thanks again for the time and patience your company spent with us these last couple of months.

Thankfully we were able to connect with SMS over the last couple of months. We were having issues securing a new line of credit for our business during this crisis. It was always something and they kept asking us for more information and reports. A friend had told me about SMS and how they helped him cut through some hard times he was having. They were able to come in and help us put together a complete package for the bank that was eventually approved. If it was not for their help with all the reports and information requests I dont think we would have ever crossed the finish line.

One of the brighter spots in what was an overall down year for us. SMS communicated well with our staff and gave consistent updates on how far along they were in our agreed upon scope. This included, milestone targets, activity, and profitability indicators. Their input has given me, as an owner, the confidence to take more risks with my business and grow out of my comfort zone. It has allowed a significant increase in business and I have been able to delegate certain tasks over to them that gives me more flexibility in how many projects we can take on at once.

A random salesman from SMS just showed up at our door at 7:10am.
He claimed to have an appointment with our president, but our president had absolutely no idea who this person was and told me to tell him to leave. What a pushy person. Our doors to the office don't open until 8:00am. He was beating on our door fifty minutes before we open, like he was trying to get out of a burning building. This isn't 1950. Door to door salesmen are a thing of the past.
Hey Rick, next time, do the right thing and call ahead and get an actual appointment instead of showing up and lying to my receptionist just to get yourself into our business.

One of the best consulting companies I have worked with. They built a true relationship with me and my business quickly and took as much pride as we do in the business. I would not hesitate to recommend this business.
