Villa de estancia, Irving TX - Be very careful, let me save you the trouble. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Not only is this complex infested with roaches, but the manager Delores Garcia has caused us thousands of dollars in litigation. Nothing gets fixed, you heard me NOTHING!! All they do is plaster the problem and paint over it instead of fixing it. They even over painted roaches - can u believe that? A minor dispute with Delores and she literally ordered us to move or face eviction. She told us that we will owe nothing and even received a letter saying they owe us $122.49 and weeks later we find out that we owe $1000+ in rent and now we can t even rent an apartment until the amount is paid. She outright lies. Don t trust anything they say - have it written and signed and even notarized coz she will back track on her obligation. They all did and Delores Garcia is the worst of them all. We re still fighting this injustice and by God we will win. If there was a -100, I d give it to them. Save yourself, your family and your wallet. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Ohhhhhhh, and since we are in collections, we cannot rent from any complex until this is paid.

UPDATE 1: Left a voicemail from the response I received from UAG 1 day after posting the negative review. So standby for a positive update. #looking-up

UPDATE 2: Left another voicemail and still no response. I wonder if the response was genuine.

UPDATE 3: Ever since I got the voicemail months back, NOTHING has happened. We couldn t even reach the person who left us the voicemail. Again, I stand by my stance - DO NOT RENT WITH UAG GROUP!! (Oct 9th 2018)

UPDATE 4: This is a new year and nothing has been done. We still get collection notices and have NEVER heard from UAG (January 22nd 2019).

I just joined United Apartment Group in April of this year and even though I love the company I came from, my decision to join this firm has been the best I've made for my professional career. The managing partners are the epitome of professional and are very knowledgeable in the multifamily industry; they truly care about the owners they serve, UAG employees and most of all the RESIDENTS. It's so hard in 2017 to find such amazing people to work among. I'm truly blessed to be a part of United Apartment Group. GO UAG!!!

I turned my keys in at The Jackson in San Antonio,...

I turned my keys in at The Jackson in San Antonio, TX on 08/10/2019. I received a walk through statement on 08/15/2019, almost 1 week later. The statement says I will receive a deposit 30 days after receiving the letter although I don't understand why I should be at their mercy when they chose to delay doing my walkthrough. Typically a deposit is refunded by 30 days after the move out date. I have attempted to reach out all week. It began with an email and today with 3 calls which all went unanswered. The moment I called from another phone number someone picked up. I asked for information on who the Regional Manager was and how I could reach him or her and the Assistant Manager gave a name and said she did not have contact information. Now that I've tried to reach out to United Apartment Group's main line, their automated system can not direct calls correctly. It is impossible to speak to a human. I urge all apartment renter's to stay away from United Apartment Group properties. I have never experienced so many issues with an apartment management/ owners company ever. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and will be reaching out to Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center and Texas Apartment Association. I lived at the Jackson Apartments for 1 year and it was the worst year of my life. On top of being afraid of the hoodlums, break in's and suspicious activity that management failed to address there was also roach issues, plumbing issues, and my lease was inaccurate. When it came time to move out, there was 2 different lease agreements under my name, for different apartments and dates, again due to lack of communication. If I had known better I would have reached out to the City of San Antonio's Code department to report the 36 hours we had once gone without running water. I thought moving out would be the end of my problems here but it looks like a new battle has begun now, just to receive the deposit that is lawfully due to me.

I live in moline il at an apartment complex called pheasant Ridge Apartments. It is the most unsanitary place I've lived. In october started a mouse problem. They had pest control come in and they placed sticky traps. It is now Jan have called them several times. They say there is nothing they can do. I can't even use my kitchen due to even if you open the oven mice come out. Also I have several things that have gone over a year without being fixed. Looking to get out of here ASAP. I will be filling a suit against this company. I am a little late on rent. I'm not going to pay rent with all these problems. I would not rent at least from pheasant ridge. They do not care about their residents. If I could have given negative stars I would. Cannot get office help to stay and the second floor smells of pot all the time. They also left notes on my door saying I had to remove my dog because he wasn't on the lease they said I had to pay another 300 dollars and additional 15 a month. When in Sept 2017 I paid 300 dollars and I do pay 15 extra a month. When I stupidly did another lease they said did anything change I said no brought in my income. I asked if I had to sign another pet lease they said no. All they care about is money. A lot of what they advertise you don't get. The pool has never been up and running, they said all Apts have ceiling fans and garbage disposals it's all lies. They will not be getting another 300 out of me. They also will not tell you the address or phone number of the company that owns pheasant ridge.

Terrible company!!!! They won t return calls. They represent apartment complex that think it s ok to have broken AC for over a month, fires, roaches ect. Absolutely awful management company. Think twice before considering one of their properties. Not to mention they also discriminate against disabled persons.

I am reaching out because I was unsatisfied with t...

I am reaching out because I was unsatisfied with the treatment I received from the Bella Vista Apartments in Brownsville, Texas, and their Regional Manager at United Apartment Group. I gave them notice September 29th, that I would be moving out early due to a work transfer. They agreed to let me move out early, as they had another tenant willing to move in. I paid the entire month of rent and then spoke with the office manager Jessica about getting a refund since I was moving out and another tenant moving in. They agreed to pro-rate the rent to the 16th and refund the rest. November 16, one of the ladies at the front desk did an inspection and told me I would owe $20 for the drip pans and that was it I didn t owe anything else. I had already authorized for them to take my last water bill out of my refund. On the 16th, I turned in my apartment keys, mailbox key, and the gate opener. I moved out of the state that day. When I reached out to get an estimate of what my refund from security deposit and pro-rated rent would be they told me it was $540. Which would be $130 for the security deposit and the $410 for the rent. When I asked them why it was so low they informed me that they charged me rent through November 22nd. Even though one of the ladies had already said that they had a tenant ready to move in on the 18th. I called their Regional Manager, I believe her name was Karen. I called her three times when she finally called me back. She said she would look into it and call me back, she never called me back. On January 24th I reached out to the apartment complex again to get more information about the check, the office manager Jessica said the check had been sent and I should get it within three weeks. She said it was taking so long because there were corrections made to this check, 1st correction was because the corporate office said they needed to charge me rent from the 16th-22nd, and 2nd correction was when they reversed the charges for the rent when I was not living there. During this phone call I asked what address they were sending this check to, Jessica told me they were sending it to my new address and then gave me the new address. At that point in time I told her that was the wrong address and provided her with the correct address. She again said that I should have the check within 3 weeks, which would be February 14th. I called the apartment complex again just before February 14th to get the Regional Managers information, she told me the check was just cut so I should be getting it soon. On March 4th I called the Regional Manager again and left a voicemail asking for information about the check and why it was taking so long for me to get my money back, and asked for a return call. I never got a call back. As of today March 14th, I have not received the check for they money they owe me, nor have they called me back. I moved out of that complex in November 16th, they initially said I would have the check December 16th, then just after the new year, then January 24th, then 3 weeks after that, and now I m not getting any return contact from them.

I lived at the following address:
4305 E Ruben M Torres Sr Blvd, Apt 3202
Brownsville, Texas 78526

Warning to anyone looking to lease with Melia, RUN AWAY SAVE YOUR MONEY!
This complex is infested with bugs rodents and bad management, not only does the complex not have any working boilers (leaving residents without running hot water) but there is also plumbing issues, leaks that cause the ceiling to open up in several apartments. The work order system for maintenance is a joke, they don t take anything serious. We have taken photos and videos and have other residents with the same issues we are having. We are planning to go to the news and on making several necessary reports. We deeply regret moving here. Do not sign the lease. It is not worth it.

This Property Management Company is the most poorly managed company I have ever seen in my life! Avistar at Chase Hill is a dump & they cannot & do not employ competent office staff. Never sent me a bill, but yet turned me over to a collection agency for some bogus amount I do not owe! I would not have even given 1 star, but could not post this review without clicking at least 1 star! Hope this helps others to not rent an apt from this Property Management Company!

I have only worked for the company for 6 months, but I am very happy here. My peers are phenomenal and my supervisors even more so. I can't complain about not having training from them as there is training for everything! They give the opportunity to grow within so there is motivation to do better. I love what I do, and with this company, I can enjoy it to the max! Thank you UAG for giving me the opportunity to be part of a real team and family!

**MOLD, MOLD, MOLD, MOLD**

**MOLD, MOLD, MOLD, MOLD**
The very first day of my lease when I was handed the key and finally allowed to go in to inspect my new apartment I had found that renovations were not completed & I found an old leak under the sink that was causing the boards to rot & noticed mold growing around the area. I immediately contacted the office and had maintenance and front office staff come down to my apartment to inspect the damage. Once they removed the board we found a severe mold problem growing underneath. At that time I informed them that I have an allergy to mold and suffered from asthma so the apartment would not be a healthy living situation for me & I would need to cancel my lease. The front office and maintenance staff assured me again that they would resolve the issue by putting a fan in my kitchen to dry out the inside of the sink and would then spray a coating of KILZ to make sure the mold did not come back, I was uneasy about the resolution they proposed as I knew mold thrived in porous areas and it had been growing on the drywall and cabinets but again they assured me the cabinets would not need to be replaced and that this would solve it so I trusted the apartment to have my health and best interest in mind. Within 2 weeks of it being repaired the mold was back.Again I stated I wanted to end my lease as the resolutions they were coming up with were ineffective in stopping the mold growth. After the maintenance crew came by and fixed the mold I inspected everything to make sure it was not growing back to which I found it was and there were portions that went untreated. Again I brought this up to the office to where they convinced me to let them resolve the issues.I noticed my bathtub faucet was coming apart from the caulking significantly and that I was finding water puddling up behind the toilet and even in the closet somehow. I then noticed as it was heavily raining at this time that water was coming in through the window seals on every window and mold was growing because of it. I had also noticed mold growing on the outside of the cabinets in the bathroom. I immediately called the front office and advised them of everything I found. This time nothing was done
about the mold in the bathroom, but they advised they would be replacing the windows and just put a thick amount of caulking around the bathtub faucet. At this time I started staying less and less at my

my mold resolved and ultimately to be released from my lease. I continued to pay, but each time I would go in coincidentally the person I needed to talk to about getting released was never there.I went back to my apartment to try and speak with someone about having my lease terminated and while I was there I decided to go in to my apartment to confirm if the mold had been resolved or if it was still there to which I found the mold was growing out of control in the closet and bathroom and signs of the mold growing back under the kitchen sink. In the closet I found that a box I had in there that was filled with blankets had also had the mold growing on it as well. In the bathroom once I moved the items I had stored I found the floor panel of the cabinet was falling down and mold was growing on the back and side panels, on the outside of the cabinets next to the toilet I noticed the mold was growing there too, and then on the wall trim I noticed it has started to rot and mold leaving an area for insects to come in, I found a collective amount of bug remains on the bottom of the outside of the cabinets. I have made multiple attempts to contact management and upper management and NO ONE has called me back. The only time I have ever heard something was when I have spoken with Tina, and the only thing she tells me is that she still does not have an update. I feel taken advantage of and unheard by this complex and continue to have a HEAVY mold problem to this day!
