I've been dealing with Unique since September 2019...so far it's been ok. You have Julia Gadsen, who is always available to me if I have a concern...made me feel comfortable since day one when my father came to this facility. It's hard enough having to put your parent in a nursing home...harder if you don't feel they are being looked after properly. Most of the staff seems to be attentive. I'll be back later to review some more.
The finance department is awesome also. They submit various, necessary paperwork for you which enables you take care of other things...which I appreciate. Joy Shaw knows what she's doing!!
March 8 update
Nothing would please me more than to give Unique 5 , but I can't at this time. For me it's the little things...i.e., gloves, gloves, gloves!!! I have a real issue with this. I don't feel there should a time when I visit that there are no gloves available outside my dad's room or inside his room, which has been the case on numerous occasions, and since the coronavirus is alive and kicking and the elderly are more at risk, the lack of gloves really needs to be addressed. For that reason, I have to take away a . There is always room for improvement.

Just glad Unique isn't allowing visitors during this pandemic...must keep the vulnerable safe. I it.

I have no idea what's going on done there, but I have been trying to get in touch with my dad for 2 weeks and it's always something. If the phones are broken, FIX THEM!!!
They seem to be going through staff changes like crazy. The people I've been dealing with over the past year are no longer there...what's going on? You call and leave messages and no one returns your calls.
WE'RE IN A PANDEMIC...I WANT TO TALK TO MY DAD!!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT FAMILY MEMBERS PERIOD. So, I must take some stars away. Sorry, not sorry.
