I had a policy with these crooks 3 years ago and I feel for the people who gave them 5 stars. Apparently they haven't had any incidents where they need them. My car was stolen out of my driveway and wrecked about 5 miles away from our home. to make a long story short, I had to work with my dealership to locate the vehicle, and by then, the vehicle had been towed because it had been involved in an accident and whoever it was took off. It took days for them to even contact me regarding the claim, they had someone from a tow yard inspect my vehicle and had me speaking to him regarding the damages. They decided not to cover the claim because they didn't believe the car had been stolen??? They had the police report WHICH CLEARLY STATED THAT MY CAR WAS STOLEN and My car sat in the tow yard for 3 weeks before they had even made an attempt to have someone look at the vehicle. The guy was not a licensed adjuster or appraiser. This company is a complete scam. Stay away from them. I ended up having to file a claim against them with the Illinois Dept. of Insurance. Also, the initial paperwork for the policy is generic and they don't tell you that their "policy" is online. COMPLETE SCAM. I hope that they shut this place permanently so that they don't continue scamming anyone out of their hard earned money. BUYER BEWARE!!!

If I could give this Company a lower rating, I would. I was involved in an accident with someone who is insured by Unique Insurance, nearly 3 weeks ago. Their client ran a red light and struck my vehicle, completely destroying the front axle. Luckily, no one was harmed. However, after filing my claim, absolutely nothing has happened. My car is still in the storage unit. They have not paid the storage fee. No repairs have been made because I cannot release the vehicle unless the insurance pays the storage. I rented a car to get to work. Uniques has not reimbursed me a single solitary cent. The only thing that Unique has done is give me an unrealistic low quote for the damages.

I am a disabled veteran who has served this Country for over 20 years. I don t say that for sympathy. I only mention that because I live on a fixed budget. Some may be able to relate. I also mention that because, I feel like every American deserves proper customer service. It should be against the law to treat anyone like this. What must a man/woman do to receive a fair deal?

Had this insurance for 5 months and the one time I needed roadside assistance for a flat tire I got the run around and never received help . I had to call a relative to change my tire. I cancelled today and went with a known insurance. I should've known better than to get a cheap insurance company hoping for quality service . I do not recommend this company not reliable

To: Scam Insurance, read this. Supervisor Orlando Guerra sent the car to the repair shop for his convenience and did not let me choose the repair shop. The car inspector is unprofessional, I had to find and send photos of damages that he did not detect. The repair shop charged $ 8800 for repairing the car and the car is useless. The repair did not exceed $ 3000, was a scam. This was evaluated by other repair shops. The car was in a yard full of dirt inside and wet. They gave me the car with bad paint, air bag sensors, door locks and trunk do not work. The parts were not replaced was welded with cheap tin. When I open and close the doors it sounds like a can. The shift lock release bottom is broken. Orlando Guerra says he is not responsible for that. Unprofessional. I have all proofs. Was it a scam from the repair shop or Unique Insurance ?. I do not know. I only know that I am paying for a car that was new and is now devalued due to Unique Insurance Company. They charged me an extra month for $ 166 and it was not returned to my account. I was without a car for 5 months. I lost a lot of money waiting for the car. The car is useless.

My car was hit while parked in front of my house. The driver took off. I filed a claim and told them the situation. They told me it was still considered an accident and my premium would still be going up. Not only that it they had me calling them every day to get the process going to repair my car. It took 6 months before my car was finally repaired. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely trash and a waste of time. I d rather risk driving uninsured than continue having a policy under this sham of an insurance company. There is minimal communication between departments. Notes aren t added to profiles when calling in an issue, which means you explain the issue EACH TIME YOU CALL AND GET A DIFFERENT ANSWER EACH TIME YOU CALL. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE OF AN INSURANCE COMPANY.

I ve made several attempts to reach a representative who is supposed to be my claims adjustor and I have yet to speak with them regarding my claim. I ve left several messages and the insurance broker has also left emails requesting immediate attention to the matter and no one has reached out.
To Unique Auto Insurance, if you re going to continue handling business situations this way, you should just quit and close the doors to your business as people do not deserve to be treated this way! To ignore phone calls and voice messages is just not right and is no way to run a business.
For those that have existing claims like myself, honestly they only way to get something done with this company is to seek legal advice and leave it up to them to get answers because this company simply doesn t care! Get a lawyer and let them handle; I m forced to do the same!

This insurance is a joke! Worst insurance agency ever!! No one answers you calls especially if you're in an accident and we need the vehicle repaired. I'm fixing to Sue them!! Good luck I'm gonna ruin your fake car insurance company!! I'd give 0 stars if I could!!

I was recently involved in a car accident for the first time in my life and what
a nightmare to deal with this insurance company. I have been with them for 10 yrs and the service I have gotten is unacceptable. They don't return your calls, the person that was assign to my claim a total jerk, not friendly at all.
This company only wants your money and they don't care about your situation when it comes to an accident. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AT
ALL! FIND OTHER COMPANIES THAT WILL TREAT YOU BETTER.

Good company to have insurance with. Will work with you the best and any way possible
