Unique Escrow, Inc. Review

The reason they are "unique" is because of their methods. They told us one thing and while my family was eagerly awaiting for the completion of our escrow, they changed the requirements causing us to move in late.

Wasn't just the first time. They have been causing us such a goddammit headache from the beginning of the process. From requirements of signatures, to delivery of documents and even sent us stuff with NO instructions on what to do.

We are hoping to be purchasing more property and you can bet your ass if the listing agent is using these guys we are not buying the property. This company sucks.

I have worked with Unique Escrow for over 5 years now, I would recommend this company and staff to everyone. I have worked on transactions for sellers, buyer, and even myself as the client with this amazing team they all are and any questions I've had or doubts I wound't hesitate to ask as I knew I was in great hands. Cecilia, Jeannette, Denise, they are always an email or phone call away. This escrow is not only professional in the way they treat their clients they also care about the clients being guided the right direction and make sure to put a stop to any unethical behavior in the real estate and mortgage industry. Hoping that as the years pass we can have more amazing escrow companies like Unique Escrow is. The name says it all.

This escrow company is the worst company. I would advise anybody to stay away unless they want what I went thru. Cecelia, who is a part owner of the company 1) failed to pay our fire insurance policy with the money I deposited into escrow; therefore my fire insurance was cancelled for non payment. 2) she changed &raised the amount I paid for the house by $70,000 to the assessors office thus resulting in a $875 increase in my yearly property taxes. For 10 months I have spent numerous hours and time off from work trying to get this corrected. I still have not had this resolved yet because it is a long and arduous process.
3)She failed to clearly notify me that the property taxes would not be sent to me for April resulting in a $600 penalty that I had to pay.
4)She post dated dates on certain documents that were not the dates the actual papers were signed.
5) I hope this helps others to be forewarned.

The team at unique escrow is awesome. Professional and very knowledgeable. As an investor, I have closed many deals with them with no problems.

We have worked with Cecilia and her team for over 10 years. They are the most professional escrow company to work with. Our investors/sellers feel so comfortable and confident with the work Unique escrow provides. Not only are they professional, they also care for their clients. There have been several incidentes where Cecy has stayed past 10pm to sign with our clients and be back to work at 9 am the next day. I dont know what other escrow would do that.
