This library is great for its programs for children.

This library is excellent! Very efficient and friendly staff, plus current resources! Extremely well organized monthly events for children and adults. I particularly love the kids section for children. The staff is well trained to work with children and have very engaging activities. Other libraries should come and learn. Keep up the team work!

Very helpful staff many of whom have been at the library for years; it reflects well on the administration. Moreover, the cafe adds a touch of class in my opinion. On occasion, some youngsters are not quiet so there is need for security to be a bit more diligent. Even so, I give them top marks.

The staff is wonderful. he has been doing a good job, specially during the pandemic. The staff was available to serve us. It is a good time for me to thank the staff. I want to say to the staff we understand his effort. Thank you.

Generally quiet but appears not to have as extensive a collection as other libraries. This was the library of my youth; in fact., I can remember when it was housed across the street in the old St. Martha's church. I thought it would have grown a lot more. But at least it still exists.

Very comfortable reading environment with a wide variety of reading material. Adequate computers available to the public. A cafe is also in house. There are a variety of programs for all.

I love this library and the whole system of libraries in Nassau County. I ve been a library member since I was a kid, and that s a long time ago. I used to go when it was a house on the opposite side of the street and the kid section of books was in the entrance way. I was there with my mom when the big northeast blackout happened and they had to kick us out.
I ve always used this library and, since I was a teacher, I would reserve 30 or more books in the summer. They used to have one shelf in the section where they kept reserved books as my shelf because there tended to be so many books. One summer they did Blind Date with a Book where they wrapped books in paper and you just chose one and found out what it was when you opened it. What a great way to introduce readers to new authors. I enjoyed that and hope they do it again.
Reserving books is so easy now on line. I still often have 20-30 books reserved because I find out when my favorite authors will have a new book come out and get right online to reserve it.
I have lived in other states and can honestly say that this library far exceeds others in book availability and the all-around helpfulness of the staff.

This library is well-stocked with books for every age group. Their event library included tips on improving your home to fitness. They even have a private study room and a large auditorium that is well-kept and equipped for technology.
