The beer I had was good but a little on the lighter/watery side. Service was a little lacking/slow. $12 for wings? And, you only give me 6 chicken wings for over ten dollars? I gave this place another shot and regret it. Far too many other options in the city for me to come here again.

Beer exceeded my expectations for a small brew pub. I ignored this place last time I was in town even though I was staying next door. Won t make that mistake again. Tried parts of two different sandwiches and both were above average. Service was very good and the chowder was also very good. Recommended.

Not so good.

Not so good.
Steak was over cooked. They did cook another steak but this one has more than twice the fat. Did not charge for it after the second time.
One waitress working too many tables.
No soap or paper towels in restroom

Great staff. This is an offshoot of John Harvard's in Cambridge & they pride themselves on signature foodstuffs. But the 6 or 7 microbrews are all Union Station. The meister brewer has a leaning towards luxurious dark beers, which suits me well, although they always have lager/pale/IPA on tap.

Continuing the Northeast brewery tour we found ourselves at Union Station on a cold and wet Tuesday evening.
Grab a seat at the bar because these guys know and understand beer. They freely poured samples and offered suggestions from our feedback. Great atmosphere and accommodating staff.

Food was okay for the price. They would not let me sample the last 2 beers on the menu even though it was written at the bottom to add additional samples for $2:50 each. What kind of a brewery does not let you sample thier beers..lol...Beyond absurd. No more growlers to go! Good luck staying in business! We will definitely not be coming back.

Not bad, not great. Food is really hit or miss depending on what you get. Beers are pretty good depending on what they have in for the week. The building itself is really cool and has nice seating. Cool merchandise as well

They had no draft beer available, at all. Cans were a bit pricey.

A beer on the house would've made it a 4 star, despite the broken draft system.

Stopped in for dinner on a Monday while in Providence for work. I had a bacon cheeseburger, and a Belgian Wit to drink. The beer was good but not as much wheat in the flavor as i would have liked. The food was good, and the staff i interacted with we're very friendly. My server, Darren, was attentive and friendly.

The waitstaff was super helpful on what to order but the meal overall was good, nothing to write home about. The burger could have been a little hotter, seemed too cold for me. The recommended beer was pretty good and I really do like the ambiance of the place. If you re stopping by for a few drinks, I definitely recommended this place because they have a good selection.

Excellent service. Server was extremely friendly and gave great ideas on food and drink suggestions. Atmosphere good for bar or family style interaction. Food is hearty and delicious. Seafood reccomended.

Loved it! Didn't know where to go, everywhere was busy, took a chance and came here and was seated almost immediately even though it was pretty full! And everything was great! Fried chicken, steak tacos, Lemon Meringue martinis, definitely coming back!

20 years ago I would be very excited by this pub. Irish pub atmosphere and a good range of beer styles competently brewed. A nice place but time has passed it by -- at least from a beer standpoint.

Will not ever go back there. Food was undercooked an when i was leaving i was being screamed at by there cheff threw the back door of the kitchen. If the employees act like that i can only imagine the owners.

The atmosphere was very lively and had a nice buzz to it, but not too much. I visited on a Tuesday night and it was fairly busy for most of the evening.

The beer was very good. A nice selection of styles for all beer drinks. They had five beers on tap while I was there, not sure if that is the norm. It looks like they also have a variety of other alcoholic beverages for those that do not drink beer. The beer menu changes regularly but I have included a picture of the current menu.

The food was very good. I had the buffalo wings and truffle fries. Both were as expected. I do like that the wings seemed to be well cooked and not oversized like a lot of wings you get these days. The fries were very good they are a bit on the larger size, personally I prefer the skinner truffle fries, but these style met my expectations.

Overall worth a stop. The beers make this place, it is a brewery after all, right? The food is a nice addition.

I recently visited here for a friend s birthday dinner. Despite having a large group (14) and adding the last two or three at the last minute, the staff was very accommodating and incredibly nice. They even cut and helped serve a cake which was brought from home.

The service was attentive and friendly, with lots of great advice about the menu and the drinks available. The staff clearly try everything so that they can recommend it, which I believe is essential for a successful restaurant.

I had the fish and chips which was a large serving and very delicious. Though at first I thought the prices might be a little high, the servings here are very generous and well worth the price especially if you share or plan to take home leftovers.

My neighbors had burgers and Caesar salads with chicken, which looked and smelled delicious!

Overall, I can t wait to come back to this place! I m not even a huge beer person, but thankfully they have plenty of other options at the bar and food good enough to not even need the drinks anyway. Can t imagine a better place to come before/after Waterfire!

Amazing people work there and that serve the most delicious food. I could live on those pub kettle chips. The beer selection is small because they only serve their own brews but the one we ordered a pitcher of was perfect so we didn't need that many options

Very friendly staff and bonus points for the great dog friendly patio. The location is a bit odd kind of a level lower than the street, but at least it's fairly quiet. The inside has a cool historic feel. The nachos were good but fairly average. The beer was also good, not great, but definitely drinkable outside on a warm day. The summer ale was my favorite of the ones we tried.

Very good food selection. Very happy with Cuban sandwich. Beer selection only what is brewed there, do somewhat limited. 6-7 beers on tap. Looks like they sell growlers. Parking can be tough.

Beer and service were great! We went for an early bite to eat, quiet, easy to have a conversation and be hear. Neat brewery atmosphere. Only reason for the three star review was the food being mediocre. It wasn't bad, just not great.

My brother and I came here after a bustling Sunday to eat and to catch some of the Bills vs Raiders game. Lovely inside, very good food and the beer was also delicious. The particular one I enjoyed was the two roads Rosemary's Baby with the brown sugar rim. So good! Staff was friendly and even met a fellow Buffalonian! Will consider again when I am in town.

Great lunch at the Union Station Brewery, they have a wonderful selection of specials and beer on tap. Definitely give this place a try if you like a good stout, super friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere.

Horrible service. The server was the rudest. We asked for suggestions and he ignored us. When he came back to the table he was not helpful and returned with smarta** remarks. We asked for the manager she came to the table and seemed like it was more of a bother and it seemed to be a bother and like she s was going to do nothing to reprimand the server. Please do not patron this establishment, there are many more restaurants available.

Overall the food was good and the in house beers were good. The hostess seemed very overwhelmed and didn't handle the door rush well. She also ignored me, the first in line, to talk to other members of my party for what I can only assume was because I was younger then everyone else.

We stopped here after Waterfire for some drinks on the patio. They serve a small range of house-made beers. Or favorites were the Copper and the IPA. We haven't yet tried the food, but the looking around it seemed like it would be good!

Wow! This place is amazing! The food and drinks are so delicious! Not to mention, Sarah with and H was the best waitress we ever had! So down to earth, caring and genuine! We couldn t have asked for more. Thank you USB for everything.

Horrible service. Don't order sangria. Didn't taste anything like sangria. The waitress didn't even ask why I didn't drink it and why I was ordering another drink in its place. And I was still charged. She barely checked on us at all. No waters brought and I didn't get my 2nd drink till I was halfway thru my meal. The spinach salad I had was something I could have made at home. A huge bowl of spinach. Some grilled chicken that tasted fine. And a pile of red onions. The balsamic vinaigrette was gross. Was a very light color, tasted like mayo and was thick like mayo. The calamari we had for an appetizer was also not good at all. We never got plates for the appetizer either. My fork was taken away with the appetizer and I never got a new one and she didn't come back. Luckily my husband had a sandwich so I could use his fork. We used to love this place years ago but clearly the quality has gone way down hill. Very disappointing lunch out and day away from the kids. We won't be back.

If you care about ethics in dining then read this. Last night at Union Station Brewery I ordered a Bombay Sapphire martini. Having been seated directly across from the bar, which mainly serves beer (being a brew pub and all,) it was easy to observe the bartender making my mixed drink. But, he did not reach for the Bombay Sapphire bottle, and instead reached for a bottle next to it. I waited to make sure the drink was mine and once delivered to the table I got up and went to speak to the bartender. I asked him what the liquor was that he used in my drink as I had ordered a premium brand and being gluten free, it was important to make sure I was getting what I ordered since many liquors contain gluten. He showed me the bottle - a bar stock variety of Bombay simply called "Dry Gin." He offered to remake my drink with the Sapphire, knowing I had caught him red-handed in this ridiculous charade that restaurants are constantly using to dupe their customers. I told him as long as it was Bombay Gin I would take what he had made and he replied it would cost less than the premium. So, the thing he had to do at that point was make the adjustment in the computer on the price of my drink, or tell the server to do so. Neither of those things happened and when we got the check, sure enough, we still were being charged for the premium drink. Epic fail! My husband and I encounter similar varieties of this situation in almost every restaurant we go to. Quite frankly, I am sick of it and am going to start calling out restaurants like the Union Station Brewery that lack ethics in delivering their services. If you value ethics in consumerism, do not dine at establishments that knowingly cheat their customers. They do it, and if caught, their normal modus operandi is to make an offer to remove the item from the customer's check, or offer some other type of compensation. But why does it always land on the customer to have to call out the bad behavior of restaurants that want to cheat the customer? This is a COMMON problem, and believe me, if you begin being more aware in restaurants you will soon find that you are also being cheated. Union Station Brewery is one of those establishments. Do not dine there.

We went during restaurant week. The nachos were great, but the entrees were not. I was disappointed as the menu options were extensive, but the quality just wasn t there. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Had the fish and chips. While the portion was large the amount of grease was a tad excessive. The Cole slaw lacks flavor. Adequate but not great.

Stopped by 2 weeks later to see if the experience changed and ordered the pepperoni pizza on their crust with a pomdoro sauce. The crust was a nice consistency, the cheese a good quantity without being too much, and the pomdoro had a nice flavor. Upgrading to 4/5 stars.

Stopped in for a quick beer with my wife one night. Great beer selection, bartender was very friendly. Decided to order an appetizer, it was apparently made incorrect and we waited an hour and never seen any food. If your looking for a weird and delicious double IPA try the Edward Nygma.

This brewery has some nice draughts and the food is quite good. Atmosphere is more after work hangout than date night friendly, but it fits with the ale house theme. The service was quite attentive and timely. I do think that they could server other beers than their own though. I think their beer is good enough to stand amidst competition. Even if they served other local brews I think it would benefit them. I can definitely recommend the Saison and the French Dip!

One of the oldest breweries in RI since the micro brew revolution started.

They have a nice selection of quality beers brewed on site and the food is good by Providence standards which means excellent. It's not high end cuisine but it's very good and it is a pub afterall.
