Union Colony Protective Svc Review

Union Colony is by far the worst company that I have had the displeasure of working for. Being paid 9$ an hour for armed security with a military background is an absolute joke. Instead of being paid for overtime work they would cut you a separate check, their security vehicles are not properly maintained, and they break down constantly. They make you work sites with high crime rates for barely over minimum wage pay. I would not recommend this company to anyone; you would honestly be better off working in retail or food service.

Worked for this company twice I liked them the first time around when Dave was in charge. Now that Tom is in charge I had a family emergency with my parents (mom) so did they had someone cover my shift and Tom followed me to the hospital an when I got ahold of the cop he told he they didn t want visitors so he thought I was lying I felt like he was invented my personal life an stalked me and most importantly called me a lair. I definitely don t recommend people to work here.

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Union Colony Protective Services, Inc. As a construction superintendent with over forty years in the business, I have worked with many security services from all over the country, and Union Colony stands head and shoulders above the others.
My company was building a hospital, and temporary heat was required as we were closing the exterior. I decided to ask Union Colony to help with checking on the temp heat as there were patrolling at night. There were several instances when the guards would report problems, potentially averting a possible freeze.
As we moved to the interior work, the owner's representative was so impressed with their services, he wanted to us a daytime guard to protect the computers and owner equipment from theft. One of these guards found a small leak from a rooftop unit which was reported immediately, thus avoiding another potentially costly situation.
All the guards were personable, easy to converse with, and all were willing to do whatever was asked of them. The guards emailed to me a hour by hour account of the events that occurred during their watch. I will use them on my next project and recommend their services to anyone.

They need to screen their potential employees better and if they are going to be funeral procession escorts they need to have calm, empathetic demeanors. One of their employees was screaming and gesturing for cars to move faster. Very distasteful in a time of grievance.

The lady who works at the king soopers off 11th ave in greeley is rude as hell!!!
Always harassing the homeless!!
Watched her tell a homeless man in burger king (he bought food) he only had 20 min to eat and he had to leave.
Then she has the audacity to ask him personal questions like she's a damn cop!! Real easy to be rude to homeless people when your not struggling.
Judgemental women!! Flat out rude and nasty!!
Maybe you should hire someone who has some consideration for others.
Not every homeless person is a bum or junkie.
Not all of them steal.
Just like not all security guard are helpful.

First I would like to say that I am not a employee or customer of this company. Last night around mid night I had a blow out on highway 34. I sat there for 15 minutes trying to change my tire, There was a state police officer who pulled a car over in front of me but did not come see if me or my 6 year old son needed help.

After another 10 minutes i was about to call a tow truck to help me out. Right before I was about to call I saw one of you're security officers pull up behind me and activate the rear lights to his car im assuming he did this so that other cars would see him and move over. From the time he walked up to my car to see if I needed help to the time he left he was very polite and very professional. I told him that I could not get my tire off to change it. He had my tire off and my spare on in under 10 minutes. And to top it all of he offered to give my son a candy bar.

My advice to the owners and managers would be to keep Nathan around because he is a great person and he seemed like he actually cared about my and my sons saftey. Thank you again Nathan!!!!

Worked here for several years. They worked with my college class schedule, occasionally was called in on my standby days but other than that can't complain. They paid for my certifications to be armed.
