Classic, tiny, Chicago store-front theater space. I saw one of Understudy's "Tiny Storefront Concert Series" presentations here. These are really friendly and energetic folk dedicated to advancing Musical Theater. I love Chicago theater, musical and otherwise. You can't go wrong with The Understudy. (The company is The Underscore Theatre Company.)

This is, by far, the best place in Chicago to get married if you have a specialized and small ceremony planned. The staff made our every wish come true and even came up with a ton of stuff we hadn't thought of! In the end the decor was perfectly "us" and they made everything "the day of" go so smoothly that if there were things that didn't go 100%, we never knew about them. I (bride) had a professional stylist and make artists come work with me and they both had plenty of room and light to work with. The space was plenty cool and there was more than adequate facilities for everything. We even had room for a refreshment area, and using the stage sound and lighting made everything all the more magical. Thank you Underscore Theater Company. You helped make the best day of my life so much more than I had ever imagined.
