So... This is the review I promised them I would write. I'm done with this practice for a few reasons. First, I'm being over-charged. I went in for a follow-up visit, which I had to wait weeks because they are just too busy, then I got the bill. They charged by the minute! I went in and had my blood pressure taken and spoke to the nurse practitioner (who is great).
I waited in the room for about 10 minutes for her after the assistant took my blood pressure. She was "enthralled" with my job and asked a lot of questions about it, then I spoke with the nurse practitioner for maybe 3 minutes.
I was charged for a 25 minute visit which actually exceeded the total amount of time I was even on property! So, I guess I was charged for being in the waiting room too. My bill was about $200 for having my blood pressure taken with this followup visit. That's over $400/HR! And, their padding the times. Are they doing this to the insurance companies also?
I disputed the charges, but it's nearly impossible to get in touch with somebody there, not to mention that the billing is outsourced. That's the second point I wanted to make. The communication is less than acceptable. I'm out $200, but maybe a hit on their reputation was worth it.
I do not recommend this practice.
