This is an iconic diner in Ocean City. Always good service and good food. Much more than just pancakes!

They cater to larger parties while ignoring smaller parties. Had to wait an hour for breakfast while large groups got seated first.

Fast, friendly service. Prices as expected for a seasonal, tourist place. I tend to get the blueberry pancakes most times because yum! If there's a line, it tends to go quickly because of how fast the kitchen and service is. Never feel rushed though.

Well I had a great time with the waitress Anne. She was very pleasent and nice. I love her.

You know you're at the shore when you're at Uncle Bill's! It's a must-do! If you're a breakfast person UBPH is for you.

I believe 3 stars is the perfect rating for this place as it is truly just average. I've been here multiple times over a few years, and although it is consistent, it is definately not the best place to go for breakfast. I would say, however, that it is worth a try - it's not at all terrible, just not amazing.

First of all, the prices are a little too expensive, even for being down at the beach where you expect most things to be overpriced. Drinks can shoot your bill up fast, so I suggest just drinking water. The portions are of a decent size, so they don't skimp there, however for average tasting food the prices could be lower.
The service is always just okay as well. Most of the servers are fine and do their job well. Typically I don't have a problem with the servers. However, there have been times when I went up to pay that a woman taking the payments has been rude. I'm not one to judge quickly, but after it happens a few times it makes me not want to spend money there. The food typically is quite quick to come out unless they are really busy.
The food is meh. The best thing they have is the stuffed french toast, as they give you a lot and it is really good! However all the breakfast staples are just normal, they don't knock your socks off.
It can get really really busy in the morning, to the point where the wait is way too long to want to stay. I say go a little later for breakfast (around 12) as that's a good way to avoid the rush. Weekdays are typically not as busy as the weekends in the morning.
All in all, it is truly just an average place.

Skip the pancakes and go with a Turkey Club Sandwich. They are the best around.

Was extremely excited to see gluten free pancakes on the menu. I haven't had pancakes in years. Each person at our table had something negative about their mean and I was happy as a clam. Until about 20 mins after eating when I became extremely sick and to save everyone the details the pancakes could not be in any way shape or form gluten free. It's extremely disappointing when you have a dietary restriction and it's blow off

Terrible customer service. They made us wait outside with a baby in pooring rain. Needless to say we didn't stay.

We always visit Uncle Bill s when we are in OCNJ. Great food and service. We get there early so we don t have to wait.

Always good, top quality breakfast, but wow, they seem to update the prices on the menu weekly (not really, but it seems like it's higher every time). $37 gets you breakfast for two with coffee and OJ. It's the price you pay for quality while in Ocean City. We will be back, just like we are every time we visit OC, but not every morning unless I win the lottery.

Terrible experience! We have been coming to Ocean City for many, many years and have always enjoyed going to Uncle Bill's once or twice during our trip. We were excited to go this year because we had not had the chance the past two years. Unfortunately, our trip to Uncle Bill's this year was a major disappointment and will surely be our last. The service was horrendous. My husband, my toddler son and I waited 40 minutes for our food. The tables of 6+ around us (some which were seated at least 15 min after us) were served and finished by the time our food showed up. Our waitress never bothered to ask if we wanted refills or if our food was ok (which was especially irritating since she had gotten my order wrong). The food was cold and tasteless. The portions were very small and our meal cost us $46. For two adults and a toddler (which, by the way, there is no kids menu so you are forced to buy a full-sized meal and pay the outrageous price). At this point, I think Uncle Bill's is relying on their reputation to bring in customers despite their sub-par food, terrible service and astronomical prices. This experience was a disgrace and I can't wait to try out some of the competing breakfast spots in town.

Ate at Uncle Bill's twice. French toast first time Bacon Cheese Omelet second visit both very good.

Love the outdoor dining. Breakfast was fresh and flavorful. Staff super courteous and didn't feel rushed.

You simply can't visit Ocean City without having breakfast at Uncle Bill's at least once! Great food, excellent service, and a ton of food at affordable prices. Don't miss it!

Regular stop on any shore trip to OCNJ! The service is pretty good considering the volume of customers flowing through here each day. The food is pretty good as well! I wouldn t say it is the best breakfast I have had, but everything I have ordered has come out tasty and well prepared. An order of potato pancakes at our table was undercooked not times they tried to make them, but earlier in the week they were perfect!

Uncle Bill's is a great Ocean City staple for breakfast or lunch. Wonderful pancakes and omelets. The waitstaff are attentive and very personable. Look forward to coming here year after year.

When I go down to Ocean City New Jersey this is the first place that I want to go!! Chocolate chip pancakes are delicious!!!!

Every time I go to Ocean City or Cape May, Uncle Bill's is always part of the trip. The pancakes are tasty, coffee is great and it is an easy place to eat with kids (service is super-fast). I definitely recommend coming here!

Happy to see them open, I came to give them my support despite not allowed to eat inside. So I would order take out breakfast until government allow us customers to eat inside again. So stay healthy and safe everyone and support your local restaurants!

I've driven over 2 hours to get breakfast here. Stuffed french toast should be shared. Staff is always very pleasant. Highly recommended for a great off boardwalk breakfast.

An OC favorite. Prices are reasonable, but there is sometimes a line to get in. (That means the place is FANTASTIC.). Staff is friendly and courteous, food does come quickly, once you re seated.

Excellent breakfast! Wait staff very attentive a pleasant experience every time we come here.Nichole did a great job waiting on us. As you see by the picture the plates are clean. We ate every bite.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time after visiting one other "Uncle take my Bill's" in Wildwood.

They have a gluten free menu which was a plus, however we both left with food poisoning which resulted in a whole day taken out of our beach trip. French toast came out cold, scrambled eggs seemed runny, and our waters had a weird taste. On top of that our meal came out to be way too expensive for an over glorified diner.

My advice for other families: make breakfast at home and skip the food poison haven. Really wonder how this place stays in business.

Pumpkin pancakes, fresh food and great service will make any beach day breakfast a treat! You get what you pay for!

Food came out quickly even with a full house. Very good service and good food.

Good service but incredibly average food. Waffles were kinda flat and boring for a specialty breakfast place, I can make better at home; and it s canned or processed fruit instead of fresh.

So it was alright, no need to ever go back though. Any jersey diner food would ve be better for sure.

I love the gluten free pancakes here, it was amazing! I got the blueberry and apple pancakes and they tasted like normal pancakes. This was our go to place when we were in ocean city. You have to check this place out. Atmosphere is great because there's lots of space and the staff is very friendly! A must try!

Uncle Bill's is an OC tradition. Be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. The staff and kitchen are efficient, getting consistently good food out quickly. Very reasonable prices. Be sure to ask about the specials!

Love this place. Quick service and great food. We eat here at least 3 times while in Ocean City for the week.

Every time I come down to Ocean city I always go to Uncle Bills on 40th. I have never been disappointed with the service or the quality of the food. I plan on coming down here and making it a tradition with my family some day.

Pancakes are good in all yet they are extremely over priced I went with my family of 4 and ended up spending over $50! And that's just for some pancakes! None the less that were good pancakes and we had a nice time.

Classic diner spot with a huge choice of food on the menu. It was really nice to sit outside and enjoy some coffee with friends. While we were eating, an older lady fell off her bike in front of the restaurant and the staff rushed to help her/make sure she was comfortable while additional assistance arrived. Thank you for providing great food & always looking out for the local community!
