Umbria Gourmet Pizzeria Review

Artisan pizza prices, but chain pizza flavor. They were okay but for the price I was as very un-impressed. I've had equally tasty pies from pizza ranch at a third of the price. Got the pesto king and the Sicilian. Both the tomato sauce and the pesto felt like they came straight from a can with no alterations or improvements, very flat overall. Both pizzas also could have used an extra three to four minutes in the oven

The owner, Alfonso, is the nicest guy and their pizzas are better than any of the competing chains around. Their Mediterraneo with olive oil is a staple of ours

Delicious pizza and quality service. Kiddo and I ordered takeout and decided to eat it on their front covered patio. Perfecto! Will be making this our new regular za spot!

I work for a food delivery service. We had no drivers when the order was made and when I finally signed on and received the order .. it had been sitting at Umbria s for over an hour waiting to be picked up by us. So I called ahead and asked if they would remake the order for their paying customer. They refused. Said they shouldn t have to pay for the use of the extra dough. They said they would rather the customer get served food that s been sitting out for over an hour then get given a fresh item. They continued to argue and debate me on how it s not their problem . It s not your problem? A restaurant is more than just about food it s also about customers and the service/experience. Why wouldn t you care about your customers health especially knowing they already were forced to wait so long for their food.., so sad smh

THIS PIZZA, you guys! I was blown away the first time I tried Umbria pizza in Bloomington. I grabbed the mac & cheese (and added bacon) and their deluxe. My favorite of the two was the mac & cheese, which says A LOT because usually mac & cheese pizza is pretty flavorless on pizza, in my opinion. This kind was so cheesy and full of flavor. And let's not forget about that crust! It's thick, chewy and slightly crispy. Absolute perfection!

The owner is a really nice guy. The pizza is great. My favorite is gyro meat and breakfast bacon pizza.

The order this pizza for the 1st time period we order our pizza well done. We receive this pizza not well done so we had to throw it back in the album. Hence the pizza BN on the cutting board. This pizza legitimately is 3 stars no more.

Really great pizza! Awesome service! Cool little ambiance, I'm sure is hopping when not in a Pandemic.
Online menu didn't show mushrooms on supreme Pizza, so when we got it with them it was a surprise. Otherwise great!

Called to place my order for delivery. Tom took my order, but was new and not cleared take credit card information. Would start my order and manager would call when back from a delivery. The call would be a few minutes, delivery in about 75 minutes. Call cameras shortly for card information. I got a call from Alfonso, he was a block away from me (the manager). The food was was hot, the Tai Chicken pizza was amazing. Some of the best crust. My wife and daughter enjoyed Calzones . They were large and stuffed well with filling. Very pleased with our first experience.
