UMaT to me is the best public university in ghana in that it has dedicated lecturers and the facilities available are just enough for the students. The lecturer - student ratio is within acceptable range. And best of all, aside the quality education students get, I believe the employment rate of graduates especially within the Mining sector is above 70%...which is to me the best in the country so far...

It's has conducive environment for learning, surrounded by affordable hostels for the comfort of students. It rains often but the weather can be very hot when the sun shines. More so, standard of living is high. Regardless, it's a nice place to live.
