Reception and health counselors are friendly and efficient here. I went a couple of times and there wasn't a wait and I could get STD tests almost immediately. There is usually parking right outside also.

Walking into this organizations main entry lobby, you would think that your in a new Start Up office, but no its a non- profit. An excellent one at that. The receptionist was down with the quality customer service. I had no time in the reception area before heading to my appointment. Most non profits are hand me downs when it comes to decor, not this place. Its was warm and inviting.

I've been a client at AHP for years and I'm extremely happy there! AHP's team are compassionate and really care for people. I feel really thankful for my Therapist and my Psychiatrist, they're awesome!

A great place with a lot of services and resources to offer and knowledgeable people who are patient and caring, they actually take the time to listen to you to try and help you to the best of their abilities. They ve definitely provided me with a multitude of services that made navigating the system , being hiv +, and my depression easier and made the weight of those things lighter and easier to manage.

A great team of caring individuals who I applaud and greatly appreciate.

Many thanks to those who worked hard to build the beautiful facility that I see so much good work and much needed services that Sam Francisco is blessed to offer.

This place completely wrecked me. I was given a medication by one psychiatrist that completely changed my life. For the first time in years, not only was I sober from drugs but I was actually able to sit down and read a book. I got a job and was so incredibly happy with the positive changes in my life. I had lost all hope and that feeling had disappeared. Sadly, that psychiatrist left the practice and Dr. Harrison took over my prescription. During a check in with him, as soon as I told him how great everything was, he took me off the medication. From there my life fell apart again and during the following months I was consistently told that I wasn't trying hard enough and wasn't being open minded with other treatment options. Why would I be open minded to things that no one was sure would work when I knew something had already produced positive results? Now I can't even bring myself to seek mental health treatment because I don't trust anyone. I'm in a worse place now than when I started with these people. DO NOT GO HERE.

I just inquired regarding support groups for LTS of AIDS. The woman responded in the affirmative. This is a change, though I have no idea what the particulars are, so I cannot recommend participation. We'll see. They've abandoned LTS matters for years with inattention as though we weren't here or even worthy or attention or focus. I've been resentful and amazed at how long this situation has persisted. I expect nothing.

I love this place. They really care about a person's mental help and they show it.

I went in as a drop in and was seen within 15 minutes. I felt welcomed and considered about.

The intake is 3 parts. I finished the first 2 parts. I answered their second questionnaire in a way which made them concerned so they did an immediate follow-up.

I believe this place is great for mental health services for the LBGT community.

Stop in before 9 am if you are having mental health issues. The great staff will go out of their way to help you.
