This is a state of the art facility. The aesthetics of the building are beautiful. The healthcare team are knowledgeable and exhibited A+ bedside manner. From surgery to ICU to CVC step down unit. They were great.

These are the best doctors! I traveled to San Diego from Eugene, OR to have leads extracted! It was the most safe and easiest surgery on me that I had ever had! I would go there again for heart surgery or treatment!
I have complete confidence in these doctors and anesthesiologists!

Beware of the extremely high charges within the UCSD network. They have "clinic" charges which can range for $250-$500 which inlcudes just walking through the door. Then you get a provider visits charge plus all your labs, testes etc.. UCSD provides fabulous medical treatment and the doctors are wonderful BUT their pricing has gotten out of control. A recent visit to a physician at the Sulpizio clinic, standard visit 30 minutes, was $1200 and after insurance we paid $600. Crazy for a routine visit!

It took us nine months to get there and well worth the wait! We ran into a problem after the PTE and they handled the hitch wonderfully! The Bannister House was a haven for stress release and worried families.

FANTASTIC! They saved my life. The Cardiac ICU Staff and Nurses made all the difference. They treated my wife with kindness, caring, dignity and respect while I lay in a coma. When they brought me back from certain death, they helped me stand, walk, and recover. Dr. Anthony Perricone was the man with the plan! He deftly repaired my aorta under incredible time pressure and brought me back. The ICU nurses were kind, nurturing and essential to my recovery. Thank you to Carly & Chip! You guys are the best and I will never forget how hard you worked to save me.

I have a Pacemaker and defibrillator put in my chest early July at sulpizio Cardio vascular center the doctors and the staff were excellent the procedure went really nice. The care I got from them is outstanding.i stayed overnight at the hospital, UCSD LaJolla center, were Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center is part of.
My Doctor, Dr. Green is well accomplished and the head of the I C D department at UCSD, and she really cares about my wellbeing, I'm greatful to have her as my surgeon.

Staff are very very rude, so unprofessional. Daughter went in for venogram and said we where gonna get updates every hr but Didn t get a single one during a 4 hr surgery on top of that the Dr walked right by us after surgery and didn t even bother to give us an update or to tell us how everything went. No one was at the information desk to give us any updates either on how our family member was. So i walked around and asked staff members and they literally told me to leave the area because it was just for staff members, they where very rude. We re not even oriented on what to do or where to ask. of course I was gonna try to find out what was going on and door where open for anyone literally to walk through, no signs about no trespassing or employees only. It s not like it was forced entry. Trying to make me look and feel like i wasn t allowed to ask what was happening.

Practitioner nurse here is disrespectful and very persistent in letting you know how much she doesn t belong there, the front desk people rude as they asked several elders uncomfortable questions as loud as can be and not doing their tasks when the practitioner nurse requests them to do things. No sense when it comes to elderly needs and just overall disrespectful. Avoid this department completely if you want any decent medical attention.
