UCP is a part of the Punjab Group of Colleges. It was chartered by Government of the Punjab in 2002[3] and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan).[4] According to the HEC ranking 2013, UCP's business school is on 9th ranking in Lahore.[5] UCP offers undergraduate well as postgraduate programs in the fields of Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Arts, Management, Social Sciences, Law, Media, Communication Studies and Life Sciences. There are nine distinct faculties in the university.[6]

Amazing facility for quality higher education in Lahore, Pakistan
This University has a very unique and good architectural design. University has a good and big library. There are many faculties include IT, Business, Pharmacy, Media, etc. There is an in-campus hostel for female students. I was an IT student here, I can assure you that University has very excellent and highly paid faculty of IT. The university is affiliated with many good foreign universities. Three things that this University lack are: 1. In-Campus Playground 2. Proper Mosque 3. Strong Placement Office Structure: 5/5 Education: 4/5 Environment: 3/5 Overall: 4/5

It is a good university with poor administration and it has good infrastructure & bad interdepartmental communication. It does not give their students a pre-semester week (a week before starting the semester in which Students can make decision about their course selection). From the Faculty perspective this University still need some improvement and they are trying to do so. This university is not into the Research area.

Studying here for 2 years now. I find the education over here quite good and faculty is wonderful. But the administration is flop but not to forget Sir Ashraf Iqbal (Dean of I.T.) such an amazing person.
