Thanks for Lonzo, but you can say BYE BYE to LaMelo & LiAngelo
its great better than harvard and duke and the basketball team is of the chain awesome nobody school can beat this school yeah watch out other schools ucla is coming
to get the win
Being a bruin myself, l take all my friends and family whenever l'm in LA!
When mysister took a field trip to ucla it looked awesome. I thought it was not going to be fun , but it was fun
I'm very fortunate to have UCLA as my alma mater. It is one of the most beautiful schools and the professors are some of the top in their fields. During my four year experience as an undergraduate, UCLA offered the perfect mix of competition, hard work, and fun.
Undergraduate studies serves as the bridge between the comfortable bubble of childhood to the reality of society. When I graduated from high school, I had the sense that school was an easy breeze. This perception was strongly dismantled as I entered my first quarter in UCLA.
I discovered my passion for photography and film at UCLA. Having access to this beautiful campus is a blessing. The plaza between Royce Hall and Powell Library is one of the best places to take pictures.
Overall, the journey has helped me discover my strengths and weaknesses. UCLA has done a fantastic job prepping me for the future.
I went to this university when I was in 4 grade for a field trip
Defenitaly going here or harvard. #smart #picklechinahboi
I lered how to speel rally goood. 5 starts reccomand going he.
I hate this school and hospital I have to go there for work at least 8-10 times a year. This institution of greed and avarice, is expensive overrated and never has good parking. And the staff there are rude as hell. If I could give it a negative star as a rating I would.
It was absolutely amazing!!!!!
A well spent day here!!!!
Visited family for my cousins orientation for college. We came with quite a crew since we all wanted to see the baby in the family off to college.
Plus he worked extremely hard in high school to get where he is today.
Everyone was nice and helpful from the minute we walked on the campus.
This school made my dog eat me and my Harry Potter and Paul
UCLA is vibrant/amazing. The "institution" captures you because it'll challenge you beyond and above your limitations, and it captivates your heart because it embodies wisdom and commands respect.
Food is delicious . Price is reasonable. Campus is excellent
One of my responsibilities while working for Intel Corporation was on-campus recruiting. Sometimes, this responsibility was very interesting meeting students who wanted to get started on their chosen field. Most of the students at UCLA were excited about their future and were a joy to interview.
Ever since i was a little boy i have been wanting to go there and i cant wait
Great education. I got a Computer Science degree and it really prepared me for the working world. I learned a lot and had good experiences.
For me it's a dream, limited desire to resume my studies!
But above all, what is UCLA?
The University of California at Los Angeles is a public university with world renown for education and research. In terms of enrollment, it is the largest campus of the University of California.
It s an incredibly clean place, yet it s very lively. There are different building architectures, more or less recent. Their libraries are a paradise for books, with such studious silence.
The sports facilities are professional, with each coat of arms and the colors UCLA, blue & yellow.
I really wanted to do my basketball study sport in Ucla.
I highly recommend this visit, which is free, or you can walk around the whole university. And as usual there is a gif shop!
A "like" for my Google Opinion, thank you and Enjoy!
The University of California, Los Angeles, known as Los Angeles, is often translated as UCLA. It is a public research university based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1919, it is the second university in the University of California system. With approximately 29,000 undergraduate students and 12,000 graduate students, it offers 337 different degree programs including bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
This university is a delightful place to be at. Surrounded by many buildings, consisting of tons of departments, the area is huge. A fountain at the centre of the institute provides serenity.
There are a lot of activities going on by the students which is fun to watch. Introductory tours are provided for the courses.
I only say that they are very good in Softball, I do not know anything about the University. In sports they are very good. My congratulations
Beautiful campus, one of the favorite schools, no one
University of California, Los Angeles is the best university ever.
Sunny hilly campus all year around. Very nice views, brilliant faculties and students.
Beautiful campus with elegant red brick buildings. Can see many squirrels. There is a long walkway where many students were promoting their organizations or fraternity. They even have a 24/7 library where is many students' home.
UCLA's parking lot staff are mean. They did not mention where could I park, and that caused me got a 60$ ticket when I have had already purchased a 12$ daily visitor parking permit. When I went to ask why did i got this ticket, the staff were inpatient. I was really disappointed. I felt like giving expensive tickets is one of the way how UCLA earn their money.
University of California, Los Angeles; i like &,I love this university, and I've come to a great place because I studied at this university!
Unbelievable... i'm loving it here...
So Beautiful.. and also so much Beautiful looking girls/womans
The university is organized into six undergraduate colleges, seven professional schools, and four professional health science schools. The undergraduate colleges are the College of Letters and Science; Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS); School of the Arts and Architecture; Herb Alpert School of Music; School of Theater, Film and Television; and School of Nursing.
Fourteen[13][14] Nobel laureates, three Fields Medalists,[15] two Chief Scientists of the U.S. Air Force and three Turing Award winners[16] have been faculty, researchers, or alumni. Among the current faculty members, 55 have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences, 28 to the National Academy of Engineering, 39 to the Institute of Medicine, and 124 to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.[17] The university was elected to the Association of American Universities in 1974.[18]
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2017-2018 ranked UCLA 15th in the world for academics, No.1 US Public University for academics, and 13th in the world for reputation.[19][20] In 2017, UCLA ranked 12th in the world (10th in North America) by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)[21] and 33rd in the 2017-2018 QS World University Rankings.[22] In 2017, the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) ranked the university 15th in the world based on quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, publications, influence, citations, broad impact, and patents.[23] In 2017-2018, US News & World Report ranked UCLA as the #1 public university in the United States in a tie with its sister campus, UC Berkeley.
UCLA student-athletes compete as the Bruins in the Pac-12 Conference. The Bruins won 126 national championships, including 113 NCAA team championships, tied with Stanford for most by any university.[25][26][27] UCLA student-athletes, coaches and staff won 251 Olympic medals: 126 gold, 65 silver and 60 bronze.[28] UCLA student-athletes competed in every Olympics since 1920 with one exception (1924), and won a gold medal in every Olympics that the United States participated in since 1932.
A college degree isn't worth what it once was, and UCLA seems to have decided to lower the quality of their education to match that fall in value.
I transferred out of UCLA, and I thank god for it.
They have a good graduate research programs (or so they told me), but I honesty am unsure how its undergrad program maintains its reputation. The general ignorance of their students and grads would be pitiable if it weren't so frightening. They do have advanced knowedlge of pronoun use (in that they have knowledge of pronouns no one else has ever heard of). But the overwhelming majority are shockingly lacking in knowledge of History, Philisophy, Classical Liturature, Calculus, and Critical Reasoning (what they quite seriously call "Critical Studies" is the best, and most ironic, testament to that).
If you prefer an indeological indoctrination to an education, this is the school for you.
Overrated, overpriced, beautiful campus, and a tremendous squandering of resources. The Regents, Professors, and Administrators are benefiting more than anyone else. Unless there s an artificial barrier to enter your field (medicine or law) please realize it s 2019: everything you want to learn is on the internet and if you aren t motivated enough to teach yourself, you probably wouldn t have used the education you would have bought here anyway. So save your money and use your limited time to learn and do something you actually care about instead trying to follow out-dated societal ideals and please misguided parents.
beautiful campus!!! visited over the summer and the greenery and scenic views were amazing. the wide food selection was also nice to have, and the library was ridiculously quiet and offered a large amount of space to study / focus on work. overall a great campus and would definitely be interested in coming here as a student!
Their classrooms are top notch and the campus is quite hilly but it draws many students.
Top class and above its peers, the century old uni. I want to visit again and more
Absolutely Amazing Campus! Even though the classes are lagging behind the real development of the world.
I know I am barely in middle school but UCLA is my dream university.every since kindergarten I have been dreaming to go to UCLA bruins women s gymnastics.Being there is a dream come true to me.The real reason is because I would like to be exactly as good s Ariana Berlin.
all i want them to do is make the website more informative so people who do reports on this particular university can get the info they need more easally. they are a good school but it is the dang website that is terrible. i would like them to change the website to something more conveinient.
U C L A! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!
Okay maybe I'm not the first to say that catchy chant, but it's always fun to sing regardless. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to gain admission to this school of awesomeness. Maybe I can finish my graduate degree in Economics or Business some day... A man can only dream. I love UCLA, because of my favorite basketball coach of all time John Wooden! RIP Mr. Wooden. I've read your books and live by your code. I didn't get to see him coach, but I did get to watch a few UCLA home games. I watched UCLA destroy South Carolina a few years back.
The campus is BEAUTIFUL! It is very very large. Hopefully your classes are near your living area or you may want to invest in some hiking boots. I'm pretty sure most freshman LOSE the Freshman 15! There are plenty of beautiful people. The student body is very diverse, so you'll find beautiful people from all cultures. The dorm food is bomb! You also eat on real Corningware dishes and silverware. NO plastic or funky colored trays and plates here *sigh*. It doesn't feel like a dorm. The new dinning hall experience is like visiting a convention center dining area inside a hotel.
Undie Run! I was visiting a poker buddy of mine and I got a chance to take part in the Undie Run! I already had my degree not from UCLA, so I didn't feel the complete joy of completing Finals or graduating. Basically if you haven't heard, the Undie Run is a way Bruins blow of steam after finals by running on to campus in only their underwear. The only con for this run is I wish I knew about it sooner, because I was running 1 or 2 years-POST-6 pack. I could have worked out more. Also, I have only been lifting weights when I did workout I slacked off on the cardio. So running/jogging a quarter mile to campus I learn how out of shape I was. I felt more like 10 minute car than a 10 second car, not fast or furious. It was a bit creepy how spectators would stand by and record what was going on. That was still less disturbing than a guy who wanted me to give him a boost so he can ride the UCLA bear statue and he was wearing only a Jock Strap. NEGATIVE!~! Some students went crazy in the quad and started setting of sprinklers. The cops later broke up the celebration. There was this on crazy chick enjoying herself that was wearing only a g-string with her hair as a top. Maybe she wanted to be a mermaid.
I'm sorry but I have to add the best movie quote about UCLA from the movie Can't Hardly Wait:
"Kenny Fisher: I mean peep this - They say here 92 percent of the honeys at UCLA are sexually active. 92 percent of the women in Los Angeles at UCLA walking around going, "Class... or sex? What shall I do?" 92 percent, yo! Hey, you know what that means?
Ritchie Koolboy: What?
Kenny Fisher: It means I gots a 92 percent chance of embarrassing myself. I roll up on that shorty be like, "What's up yo?" she be like, "You don't know 20 different ways to make me call you Big Poppa" cuz I don't yo. "
Besides the beautiful women and crazy parties. This a wonderful school where you can get your Learn ON! Yes, you do have to study unlike private schools. It is like any other great UC! *cough* USC sucks ass! UCLA you are awesome. Please accept me!!
Trees need to be trimmed where the Buses park by sunset. They hand down to much.
Hello! My name is Daniela! At the moment I live in Russia and my dream is to study and live in America! Now I am 12 years old. I want to study to become a dentist and preferably in Los Angeles or California. Please advise the institute and the price of training! I'm an excellent student in English, I'm only in 6th grade, but it's time to think about the future! I will study English!
Do not drive around here when students are graduating...
It is for me the best option to study a university career, it has all the necessary elements to achieve your goals in this great institution called UCLA ...
They forcibly removed my autistic friend from their campus without reason.
One of the best UC universities. You will get lost here if you are not carrying maps. Do try the university cafe!
Overrated and overblown university that is out of touch with today's reality. Many UCLA students and staff here feel very entitled when they shouldn't. Others feel like they are above the law and everyone else like the three Bruin basketball players who were charged for shoplifting in China. This school is very greedy, and doesn't mind increasing their tuition, fees, and other costs at the student's expense while at the same time increasing the salaries of their staff. Also, they love rich foreign students because many end up paying a lot of money while they go here, to the point that nationals have a hard time. Also, the school has outgrown Westwood, to the point that student housing is an issue and streets are in poor condition and buildings are an eye sore, so it should really look forward to moving its campus somewhere else!
I read and went on the website it is a awesome school and i'm so exited to go to this school.......ITS LIT
when i go to these reviews where they have given a 1 star every time someone says they or someone was treated badly its mostly related to autism im not sure if they're trolling or they're actually serious
this university is grater than Stanford,Harvard why because faculty system was awesome and people over there friendly and nice to me and faculty members are there like family nice to me. iam studying here for mechanical and aerospace engineering degree next goal i want study a MBA in this university.this university has excellent departments like engineering and MBA and computer science and civil Engineering.
A great university for smart people in the world.
Oh yeah i spent 10 million dollars on a grass cutting scholarship
I passed my sabbatical in UCLA, it's been awsome, awsome academic member and also awsome student.
