It's right off the Powell Bart stop so it's super easy to get to public transit wise and there are a lot of great stores and food. My only complaint is the food court is really dim.

Also found out that the morning I was shopping there they found a body in the stairwell around Bloomingdales, so maybe stay out of the stairwells. I just thought I'd mention that because I like taking the stairs sometimes and I doubt the mall was at fault or anything just a fyi.

Pier 39 is my most favorite place to visit in San Fransisco. It is always active with some or the other event going on. I've been to this place quite many times and have always found it to be amazing! We went here yesterday and there was a guy playing Saxophone and that created a fun ambience.

Fun mall. Lots of food. 9 stories of shopping. Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Lululemon, Victoria's Secret, Pink, Aeropostle, Rolex, Burberry, Microsoft and so many more stores. Parking is ok for SF. A few garages close by. Make sure to leave no valuables in car and lock up.

Everything is perfect but security is lacking. Was enjoying a nice meal thanks to Tokyo sushi and sbarros. Had a solicitor come up to me while they were wearing name brand clothes asking me for money for food at the food court and harrassed others then left after I confront her about coming there multiple times wearing designer clothes and leaving empty handed with no food. Visit was unpleasant and security did nothing nor acknowledged said solicitor.

Movies, food and shopping in one place. If you are looking for Premium brands or okay with spending at least 10$ extra for a shirt/jeans (compared to suburban malls/outlets) for the convenience of shopping right in sf downtown, then it's a great place.

I myself, prefer buying 2-3 pairs in great mall, milpitas whenever I am in south bay and shop here occasionally whenever I want to shop in SF.

Westfield has been THE shopping mall in San Francisco and it's definitely a tourist hub, so I tend to avoid the area and hit the street shopping in smaller neighborhoods to avoid the crowds, however the food court actually has some stellar food. Forget McDonalds and Burger King, this stuff is wayyyy better. Also, I really enjoy the architecture on the top floor. The dome is gorgeous and a great place to sit and have a drink. I'm also a little biased with my 5 star rating as over the Thanksgiving Holiday I went to make a purchase at Origins and two women came up behind me and said they were paying the bill courtesy of Westfield. I've never won anything, except maybe a spelling bee, so needless to say it made quite the impression.

Cant say I've been to a mall with SOOO MANY FLOORS ever!!...It was beautiful!
My only thumbs down was the fact that you have to PAY FOR PARKING AT THE MALL!!....But then again, you have to pay for parking EVERYWHERE in California....that was a little culture shock for me......visiting from Florida.
