Your typical American large mall. Bonus for a large food court area located in the basement. Always busy, but bonus for being connected to the MUNI, BART - accessible from the ground floor level. Bring your patience in this mall as its often crowded with people.

Parking is awful here. There isn't any handicap spaces on the street. The parking garage is expensive and only worth it for major holiday shopping and/or all day parking (when the wallet permits).

Walking into the Westfield Mall it's like almost walking into Cinderella's Castle the escalators are spectacular the way they move the stores very high price but they're very elegant it's a really cool place to walkthrough and look around it really is especially during the holidays the mall is open mandatory. Not all of the stores have reopened. Those that have are fallowing the safety guidelines and limiting the number of people in the store at one time, which makes social distancing easy while doing Christmas shopping.

Not really into malls. I grew up in a San Francisco that had a real downtown shopping area so there was no need for a mall. I prefer to shop online and I have no interest in malls including this one. EVERYTHING is overpriced here includind the "restaurants". My girlfriend digs it, I don't.

I think this is one of the finest urban malls in the U.S. The design is open and dramatic. You can enter from the Powell St. Station which is great when the weather isn't. Food court and grocery in the basement. Even if you're not a shopper stop in just to check out the building.

Your average American mall that caters to everything from $5 t-shirt at H&M to the $700 Gucci horse-bit loafers at Nordstrom. Most people I see here are here to hang-out and spend time in idleness. This is a good place to spend your discretionary income but expect to pay Market St prices if you want something that is of value. The food court is run of the mill and nothing exciting to write about. If you want good food, head over to Muraccis on Kearny St but they are not open on the weekends.

To us from little old NZ this place is a monster of a shop. Massive with everything you need under one roof. Just an incredible sight to see the many floors and escalators. The food court was really impressive.
