This shopping mall has almost everything a visitor to SF would need. Great shopping haven, safe and clean. There are public restrooms in here too for those who need a quick bathroom break from shopping.

I went to this place with friends for Lunch. Varieties of types of foods available. I tried the Thai seafood. It's delicious and quick service. After having lunch, we did the shopping. Good place for shopaholic... Check out the photos.

Very large and dispersive shopping center, just as Americans and obviously the millions of tourists who visit San Francisco like it. It is mandatory to stop and take a tour inside, without wasting too much time as San Francisco offers better "pastimes". If you have to (or want to) do some shopping, this is not the right place; if you have the possibility to rent a car go to the Livermore outlet, the Vacaville outlet or, as a last choice, the Gilroy outlet.

The reverse tree is one of the attractions of this mall that you cannot miss, available from November to January, it is a very clean place and has high-profile and low-cost stores as well, a food area that is on the first floor , which due to the pandemic is closed to eat inside .. it is only to take away.

Westfield's food court is giant and emcompasses the entire basement, all the way to Fifth St, with all sorts of food, from ramen to Panda Chinese, from Korean to BBQ, from juice bars and coffee to sushi and sandwiches. It is bustling, so it's not good if you are expecting quiet. For that, you have to head upstairs. Lots of shops up top, from Microsoft Store to various boutiques, all the way up to the Cinemark theaters, some screens now with individual recliner seats. There's also MYChina, an upscale Chinese restaurant by the TV cook Martin Yang. There are free sitting areas up top if you need a place to relax and rest after shopping. There are also links over to Nordstrom on the Fifth Street side. If you rather save your money, there's always CVS and Walgreens on Market St, even a 7-Eleven in a block or two. Environment is bright and clean and rather tasteful for a "mall". There are even co-working spaces higher up. All in all a very pleasant experience.

NOTE: If you want to take Lyft, get over to the Fifth St. Entrance, by the Razer store. Otherwise, it's easy to catch public transit on Market, surface buses, Muni metro, or BART are all just out the door.

A nice downtown mall with a little history. Two key features include the spiral escalators at the Nordstrom side, which are one of the first ones in the US, and the beautifully restored Emporium dome from the building's past. Overall: A pretty good variety to pick from. The food court in the basement has several different restaurants for all kinds of tastes (albeit, all run a bit pricey) and there's lots to shop at throughout the mall. Though, if you don't care about fashion, there isn't too much for you. Some notable spots for techies like me are an Amazon kiosk, a Microsoft Store, and a new Razer Store. There's also a theater at the very top if you had enough shopping and want to watch a movie (that isn't already available at Metreon, that is). It's a pretty accessible location too with BART connecting to the basement level, MUNI stops nearby, and a big parking structure behind it. An overall really nice mall, though limited for those who aren't shopping for clothes, or just shopping on a budget.

Not the best shopping center, but okay. Beautiful interior. Some branded shops.
First time i experienced a curved escalator.
Nordstrom is good but expensive. Not a big shopping center. Food court is very small. Checkout the prawns at the Chinese restaurant there.

Poorly managed mall. To their credit, they added some chairs under the dome. They need nore chairs. Garbage cans moved to front escalators with cryptic small symbols on them. I question the basic intelligence of the people who run this mall.

Since I was a "Mall Rat" in the 90's while I was in my 20's and lived in Dallas, I thought that those days are over and was fortunate to experience the best before the beginning of the end (before online shopping made many Malls close). Boy was I wrong~ Westfield San Francisco
has it all and then some, and the food is so much better than the foodcourts of yesteryear LOL! Fellow shoppers and Mall employees were all in good spirits, the restrooms were refreshingly well cleaned and it was hard to 'call it a day', too much to still see so I look forward to the next time my dear friends hopefully invite me~ because it's not only where you go but who you go with that makes it really special

Great shopping center in the heart of the city of San Francisco! Several levels featuring many international brands but the greatest presence is Bloomingdales and Nordstrom! On the top floor there is a cinema / theater. In the basement the Food Court with the possibility of choosing food from all over the world!

If you absolutely need to shop, gifts or otherwise, you'll probably have to head to Westfield Mall. There are semi-circular escalators in the center, a food court on the lower level and something for everyone. They have some notable shops like Papyrus, Godiva, Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works, as well as large retailers like Bloomingdales, Macy's and Nordstrom. Check out Pepper, the robot. It's fun watching kids interact with her. This is mostly a tourist spot, lots of people shopping with luggage in tow.

My wife and I went and saw a movie at the theater here after the regular operating hours for the mall. I will never do that again. The homeless and transient population living around the mall is staggering. Its hard to even feel safe there. We were harassed several times on our way back to our hotel just a block away. I wont likely rerun to that part of town until they do more to help those people and protect the patrons of the mall.

Lots to do besides shopping and eating. Mindful toys and Lego let you stay and play. Near there there is interactive wall art screens. Computer store has virtual reality and other device playing stations. And there is a interactive robot near escalators.
Theatre on roof. Some that lights up beautifully every holiday season. Plus a no line fancy Santa sitting station.
