Very bad HR policy. The professors are protected even if they are not sufficient (in the field of publications, evaluations, serious behavioral problems private or professional). For the latter group, the assignment is sometimes adjusted or it is requested to take early retirement. Critical assistants are sent out (several cases known in the last three years).
There's a restaurant in this location called Universiteit Club. Very good!

I have studied at the University of Antwerp. Tourists visiting the city can have a look at Hof van Liere, which is the courtyard of the old part of the university building where the library is located. I love that part of the university the most, and often people say that it resembles Hogwarts from the Harry Potter movies.

The lady who informed me at the Faculty of Law for a doctorate when I called on the phone is of rare kindness and so motivated to help. She does her work with humanity and generosity, something that is not easily found in France. This leaves me to suspect that it is probably the atmosphere and the values of this university that it appears. God Bless Antwerp University and its staff, from the janitor to the dean.
