This was a nice experience. There was a tour guide. She was fun but did forget some names but made it funny. There are different areas of the entire visit which are in different buildings. There is a cafeteria which the food was good and service was even better. There was lots to view.

You couldn't ask for a better place to take your kids! They have so much to see and learn, but even more to do! There are videos, movies, hands on exhibits, and actual artifacts from old space missions. And Space Camp is worth every penny. I've been twice so far, and I have every intention of coming again!

Good exhibitions. Nice presentation of the ISS. They have a walk-in replica of the ISS. The rocket building was absolutely impressive! They have a nice souvenir/gift shop.

The reason for the 3 stars is due to the fact that the IMAX theather is in really deplorable conditions. Many seats are torn out, with the seat surface gone and exposing a BIG portion of the internal foam of the seat. The foam was all nasty, thus presumably they have been torn for a while.

If it wasnt for the bad IMAX theather, my rating would have definitely been higher.

Growing up in Huntsville, it can be easy to lose site of how historical and awesome the US space program is. We Space & Rocket Center never fails to impress, with Museum artifacts and displays dating from the 1950s to present. It truly is amazing to see some of mankind's most dazzling and gigantic engineering projects on display in full size. A wonderful opportunity to provide inspiring and mind-boggling education for the whole family.

Easily noticeable from road in normal traffic. A huge exhibition centre covering entire history of flight and space. Highly informative and educative. Many interactive exhibits. Requires more than one day to really imbibe all the information. Has movies, simulators, etc related to space and rocketry. Has a full size space shuttle. Accepts debit and credit cards. Excellent for children. Has free parking lot. It is a very enjoyable experience for the whole family. Has an excellent cafeteria.

Really cool place to visit. The Saturn V rockets are massive by themselves. They have an sprinkling of other missile/rockets to look at and a ton of hands on things for kids of all ages. They have a variety of movies and experiences for an extra cost. If you have a child interested, they offer space camps a couple of times a year.

Helpful, friendly staff and fascinating exhibits,. It's geared towards kids, but even for an engineer who grew up around the Smithsonian it's worth several hours. Cool events in the evenings, too, especially the planetarium. Outdoor displays are a bit threadbare.

Great museum with wonderful exhibits. Only downside is you have to travel outside between buildings. It was raining the first part of our day and HOT the second half, so be prepared according to the weather.

Great displays indoors, outdoors they have let the displays get run down and rusty. If you have children, a must visit. If you are older and your children have moved out, get ready for a wake up call.

A fantastic monument to America s space history, present, and future, the U. S. Space and Rocket Center is an essential visit for any true fan of space exploration.

Nestled in central Huntsville, you can t help but be drawn to the iconic Saturn V replica that commands the local vista more than the mountains created by nature. The museum features an eclectic mix for everyone, with static displays, interactive exhibits, guided tours, a cafe, gift shop, an IMAX theater, and more. They even have kennels located just out the main entrance so your pup can safely relax while you channel your Inner Astronaut.

Huntsville isn t necessarily on the beaten path for many people, and it s not necessarily a destination city on its own. But the US Spacecsbd Rocket Center is well worth the trip - you won t be disappointed!

There for Space Camp and had my mind blown with the amazingly kind nurses, crew trainers, and guest speakers. Not to mention the sprawling campus! They have separate buildings for Aviation Challenge and its rides like the Centrifuge. Worth a trip when you get a chance to.

I went here on an school trip from Australia, the activities and education were all good, my only complaints are that the rooms were really really bad, and the food was not up to the quality that it should be, but other than that pretty good camp.

It brought out the kid in me. There for sure is something for everyone in the family. I mean it's a freaking space center, what's not to love! I highly recommend the IMAX feature, truly inspirational, and educational. Staff are super friendly, and the veteran scientists answering guests' questions were just amazing.
P.s. don't forget to ask for student discount if you're a student!

This is the most informative "museum" I have ever been to. Walking up you read the info on the planets which gets you in the mood. There is a wonderful room with inventions created near or at the site. There were so many wonderful things. Then there is an area for children with science and math exploration exercises. The rest of the place is filled with so much information it took me 4 hours to get thru it. I love this place. It is also the home of Space Camp. See it, you won't regret the time spent if you are a space nut.

Rocket City, some place I've wanted to go to for years. I'm disabled now for a triple spinal fracture. Some things like this just help you feel better. I wasn't able to see the entire facility but loved every inch of what I was able to visit. I have one suggestion and that's to offer Free mobility devices to those who request and require them. I would have loved to have seen the entire facility.. Thanks for a great afternoon..

This is a very cool museum! The Apollo Exhibit was up during our visit (there were several spots at this exhibit that said "coming soon" or that had the ramps closed, seemingly for some form of construction? which made seeing all of the features hard bc we were utilizing a double stroller). The rest of the museum was stellar (pun intended). My husband and or oldest daughter loved looking at as much as we could before it was nap time for our 2 kiddos. I took away 1 star bc EVERYTHING is so expensive. We arent stingy people but man the souvenirs were very pricey. We will be going as often as we can before our daughter turns 4 bc after that we wont be able to afford going as a family.
